Mac's
number
one
goal
is
to
win
above
all
else.
My
daughter
cried
during
or
after
every
practice
(Draper
gym,
level
1).
Instead
of
addressing
the
team
spirit/bullying
or
encouraging
individual
goals,
they
used
emotional
abuse
and
threats
to
keep
the
kids
working
hard.
My
daughter
would
stand
for
over
an
hour
and
wasn't
allowed
to
practice
individual
skills
during
the
parts
of
the
routine
she
wasn't
in.
If
she
watched
other
teams,
adjusted
her
shorts,
fixed
her
pony
tail,
or
tried
to
practice
skills,
she'd
get
yelled
at
or
threatened.
I
mentioned
my
concerns
to
a
coach
and
was
met
with
defensive
excuses
instead
of
a
plan
moving
forward.
My
daughter
was
made
to
stand
alone,
facing
forward
for
over
an
hour
at
a
time
on
two
more
occasions
before
I
pulled
her
from
the
team.
They
aren't
going
to
change
the
entire
gym
culture.
There
is
no
communication
with
coaches.
You
are
told
to
only
talk
to
Janet
or
Mac.
Huge
red
flag!
This
isn't
just
a
coach
problem,
my
daughter
and
I
would
over-hear
the
kind
of
condescending
and
singling
out
of
other
teams
by
coaches
and
Mack
himself
and
fear
that
her
treatment
would
get
worse
the
further
she
progressed.
The
further
I
get
from
Mac's,
the
more
stories
I
hear
from
other
parents
and
athletes
who
have
the
same
and
worse
experiences
of
neglect
and
sexual
manipulation
of
the
older
teams.
I
encourage
everyone
to
file
a
complaint
and
write
a
review
of
your
experience.
