Trendy spot for drinks and dinner with a breathtaking view of the Salt Lake Valley. In addition to the hip and modern vibes, the food is great. Try one of their original creations like the sushi nachos or fried goat cheese salad (a personal favorite). And once you’re done with dinner, grab a drink on their patio to watch the sunset and relax.

I can only say “yummy”! Our experience today was outstanding from the time we walked in the door. We sat indoors since it was our first time and wanted to checkout the inside atmosphere- checked! The food is plentiful, delicious (flavorful), and served hot. The Butter Cake French Toast is a must try. The bar is fully stocked and our server was excellent in making our cocktails. The menu offered something for all types of diets/eaters. The price point is spot on for the serving we received. It will be my go to when entertaining guest. I was amazed with the wine storage (glass wall). Will try dinner next time. But BRUNCH will happen first.

THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! I cannot express how truly amazing the service was. We were seated immediately, even though we didn’t have a reservation. After sitting we asked if it was possible to be moved outside. No problem! We were moved to an amazing spot. Our waiter was busy with another table so the host (or manager?) Got our drink and appetizer order. We were checked on multiple times by multiple people. Seriously I felt like a celebrity! The food was amazing and the drinks were ALL delicious. I had the salmon and my husband had the filet. Our drinks were the mule, Cliffs kiss, and a perfect margarita.

My husband and I tried this spot after a friend recommened it. We were not disapointed! Such a fun place to hang out and grab drinks. Matt was our server and he was terriffic, knowledgeable and attentative. Matt suggested their cocktail that included titos with guava and lime. It was sweet and refreshing. We ordered the wings as an app, salmon and the fish & chips for entrés. The wings were definately our favorite, followed by the salmon. The fish in the fish and chips was cooked perfectly but the batter reminded me more of a hush puppy than of crispy fried batter. We cant wait for the heat wave to break so we can enjoy the patio.

Our friends took us to the Cliffs for lunch. We could choose breakfast or lunch items. I ordered the White Cake French Toast which is sweet enough you not need syrup. It comes with potatoes but I swapped them out for fresh fruit. My husband ordered the Reuben Sandwich which he really enjoyed. They have an outdoor patio with great views. There are umbrellas so you can be out of the sun. The indoor dining is spacious, different rooms to dine and also a bar area.

We came here for my birthday and it was my first time here! I was highly impressed. We sat outside on the balcony which has an awesome view. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the presentation of the meals were great. I would for sure come back.

Beautiful place for dinner. Great views and delicious food. We loved the Sushi Nachos as a starter to share. I had the Backberry and Fried Goat Cheese salad.

Good food! We tried their brunch and the chicken and waffles was pretty good, the fried egg was cooked to perfection. The syrup was very watery and sub par, but the rest was awesome. The breakfast potatoes were so good, and my husband enjoyed their traditional breakfast plate. We'll be back to try more food!

We are currently in limbo in the Salt Lake valley die to a family member in a local hospital. When you spend much of the day in a patient's room far from home, you don't exactly get to eat the best food. To be honest, we got pub fooded out. So last night we treated ourselves. Having read the reviews and explored the pictures, we decided to try The Cliff Dining Pub. Even though it's technically listed as a pub, we noticed that they had lots of great options. Including sushi. I have no cons to offer here, only positives. We were seated immediately. Water was on the table no sooner than we took our seats. Drinks were ordered within minutes and delivered shortly thereafter. We ordered the French Dip and 10oz. Prime Rib. I greatly enjoyed the mashed potatoes (a perfect serving size), and the mixed vegetables were crisp to the bite and nicely seasoned. The French Dip came with the most interesting French fries. I say interesting because they were somewhat of a cross between a potato chip and a wedge. Not too thin, and not too thick, just perfect thickness and crispy. Perhaps the pictures will give justice to my explanation. The fries were some of the best I've ever had. But eat them while they are hot and they will not disappoint. The atmosphere is modern and chic. From the outside it doesn't look all that big, but step inside and wow! Lots of separate areas to sit. They even have one room with a large table that can seat bigger parties where you are sort of segregated from the main dining areas. We greatly enjoyed our meal here. We were in need of a break and found the setting to be most relaxing. Our server was super attentive and we felt no rush to get out of there. We highly recommend The Cliff Dining Pub. My only regret is that I did not have any room left over for some shashimi or dessert. Next time.

This is a great restaurant with a great view of the valley. It can be very busy so a reservation would be best. The noise level is loud to moderate, but still acceptable for a bar/grill. Our server Scott was very attentive and was working hard for a busy night. For appetizers we went with fried calamari, coconut shrimp, and spinach dip. All were excellent. The pasta is great, the sushi is great. The steak (Filet Mignon) was dry and overcooked, but they accommodated with a different option. I can't recommend the steak, but the halibut and seafood options are very good. The burgers look amazing and we did try the chicken burger, which are large and come with fries. Very delicious. Overall if you have a guests or need a dinner at a location with a view, this is a great choice.

Would have given it 5 stars buy the creme brulee was a over done and not enough vanilla. The rest of the meal was awesome. We started with wedge and house salad and the sushi nachos. Sushi nachos were incredible. My wife had the poke bowl and I had to the prime rib, both we excellent. Will definitely go back, but next time we'll try the butter cake instead.

Had a great dinner with an amazing view tonight! We enjoyed everything we ate. The Mac N Cheese was perfectly cheesy and the steak was nice and tender. The pork chops with at apple butter sauce and roasted Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes were delicious. We ended the night with the strawberry shortcake and butter cake which were absolutely incredible! Will definitely come back and try other dishes.

Everything from the lavender vinaigrette with panko fried goat cheese to the spiral house fries were absolutely divine. Very glad we made a reservation, and they had great pacing with their prompt service and reservations. Will absolutely be back to try more food and enjoy the stunning atmosphere.

I had my graduation dinner here and it was a great experience. I had reached out to their event coordinator Catesby, who I chatted with once over the phone then via email up until the event. They were very good with getting back to me at a reasonable time as well as updating any changes. We had a private room for a party of 25 which was nice to keep us separated from others to keep things more private. This was my first time ever coming here and I was impressed. We were taken care of from the moment we walked into the restaurant. We were given time to set up anything we needed before others arrived and the staff were fast to help us with whatever we needed. We ordered a lot of drinks! BE CAREFUL!!! you can't taste the alcohol in the aloha drink!!! I had 4 🙂 Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was great and we had a beautiful view. After we all settled down, everyone had the chance to go to the patio to see the view. I would like to thank the staff that helped us that night.. they made my already stressful day slightly less stressful by being so attentive and nice to my friends and family! (Even though we were a little crazy and loud after a couple drinks).

Next time, we will know that this place is best, for apps and dessert... We got four entrees but they were just okay. The view is amazing! The cake desserts (white pound yummy, chocolate lava go team! And spice Carmel wow!)

Dinner on a Monday night. Service was top notch. Great drink menu. Lots of food options - sushi, salads, sandwiches, prime rib, and pastas. Something for everyone. Big appetizer menu as well. Definitely a place to hit more than once.

Very good portions. The warm beignets with vanilla sauce are delicious. Server was pleasant. Food arrived quickly, but atmosphere was not rushed. Will definitely visit again when we're in the area.

A must visit! Superb drinks, food and views. Can't beat it. Will definitely be back. They also have amazing tropical drinks. I have the pain killer and it was delish!

Good food in a fun location with great views. Most tables don't have the great views unfortunately. The Reuben was good, butter cake was good, and the carne asada plate had good flavors, but was better eaten deconstructed versus putting it all in a tortilla.

I would give 4.5 if I could! The service was quick and friendly, the views were lovely (if you get the chance, sit outside), and the food was great. I got the blackberry and goat cheese salad with steak and it was pretty good, though I think it could have used a little more pizazz in the dressing. The lemon chicken pasta had a delicious flavor to it. And the Brussels sprouts appetizer was melt in your mouth good.

This was my first time here at The Cliff Dining Pub and the atmosphere was wonderful. From the second we walked in the hostess staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. Then we were seated promptly and had the best waitress Autumn. She was friendly made us feel like we were her only customer even though the restaurant was full. She was knowledgeable and very happy to assist in anyway she could. The food was absolutely amazing, We had the cocunut shrimp which was amazing and then had the Halibut and curry pineapple chicken which were both perfectly done. The restaurant was run very well and when I met the Manager Dean I could see why. He was very friendly made time to talk to us even though he was busy and really helped make the experience positive from start to finish. I will definitely return and highly recommend The cliff Dining pub for any occasion. Loved it can't say it enough.

This place is unassuming from the outside but the inside is super nice and has neat views of the valley. I got the chicken and gravy with potatoes (it also comes with an egg but I got it without). The chicken was super moist and the breading was crispy. Very obviously made there and not a Sysco chicken strip. The gravy didn't weight down the food and was perfect with everything. I definitely need to go back and try more off the menu.

Tonight I had dinner with my family after a few months of being here and the service this time was terrible; Maybe the waitress is new and she doesn't know the protocol of serving the table. First, they sat us at the table without it being ready, they brought the main dish and then the appetizer, once the dish was served they brought the cutlery set from another table. They offered me the bill without asking if we wanted dessert and by the way the menu folder was very battered, old and torn, not up to par with this type of restaurants. Again, they brought the dessert at different times. When we had finished dinner we waited more than 15 minutes for the bill and I had to ask for it in the lobby because they simply forgot about us. As a courtesy they deducted a percentage and I appreciate the gesture, but the administration must pay more attention to the service and its menus so as not to look like a $ restaurant.
