I did the hop on/hop off tour bus for €15, which lasted about 30 minutes. Complete waste of money and the audio description was horrible because it didn't relate to the map they gave you. I also did the Rhine river cruise, which was okay. It included a simple turkey schnitzel and fries and "wine tasting." During winter, it was dark and gloomy. It'd probably be better in Spring/Summer. I paid a little over USD$110 and feel like I paid too much. The old white man that took my reservation for the cruise was so rude and curt. He was completely clueless about the tour and what was included when I asked him. He rushed me for the purchased and to get me out the door. Be warned. He also charged me an additional €2.5 for using my credit card. None of the other businesses in Europe charged me extra for using my card.

We did the day long Rhine Valley boat tour. TL;DR The river tour is 2 of the 8 hours. Driver is good. You are paying for convince, since they arrange transportation and food. Probably worth it. --- The description said an 8 hour tour with lunch included and a wine tasting. All of that is technically correct. We left Frankfurt in a very nice bus, on time, and drove to RĂĽdesheim. When we got there the driver/guide took us up to the top of the vineyards for a chair lift ride. This was and additional charge and my pictures are from the off season, but I still don't think it was worth the extra charge. After we got off the lift we went for lunch. There were two options turkey schnitzel and Vegetarian. The place we went to had the most eclectic and gawdy display of maritime and wine themes. The food was included, but all drinks and desserts were an additional charge, even water. Keep in mind this was a river tour and we have now spent about 4 hours driving and eating of our 8 hour tour. After lunch we walked around for a bit and then made our way to the peir. The boat was nice and the speakers played in German, English, French, Spanish and Japanese. Seeing the Rhine from the river is just amazing. Drinks on board were additional. The boat tour was about 1.5 hours. The same bus driver picked us up and brought us to the same gawdy place for the "wine tasting". We got one red, two white, and ice wine. Each sample was a thimble size and barely enough to taste. I realize it is a tasting, but this was a thimble. Finally we drove back to Frankfurt. The driver was very funny and informative. At this point we spent maybe 2 hours of the river tour on the river. I would say it is worth the cost because of the hassle of getting to RĂĽdesheim, finding a boat, eating, and getting back is a lot of work. The river tour was over the best part of the Rhine, but a majority of your time is spent traveling.

Booked through the Viator app which ultimately comes through here. I was very pleased with my Rhine River Cruise with these guys! One part we were allotted 25 minutes to do some quick shopping or whatever we wanted to do. Unfortunately I was 10 minutes late and they waited for me. I still feel awful for being so late! Thanks so much for waiting and y’all were so friendly to me and everyone else!

Worst tour ever!!!, I highly recommend not to book Rhine tours here. My booking was cancelled few hours before departure, and I was offered with other. It is Expensive, meals and tasting offers are really bad and in a single awful place. The same person that drives your to the Rhine is the same that give you the “tasting” (5mml shots). If you want to visit the Rhine, you can better catch a train to Rüdesheim from main station.

Booked through their website. It was so awesome. George was our driver and showed us around. He was absolutely great and very informative. We felt like we learned so much about this beautiful place Frankfurt. We were on time for everything and he showed us some beautiful spots. I would definitely recommend and if you can, ask for George to show you around!!! Definitely would do again!

If I could give 0 stars, I would! We took the Heidelberg Half Day Trip from Frankfurt at the end of October and it was the absolute worst of our 11 days in Germany! First they confirmed 2 weeks before, then cancelled, then reconfirmed 5 days before the tour. Night before the tour, they cancelled again, and then when they found out we couldn't do a morning tour and just said refund the money, they miraculously found another "tour guide". We would call Max a taxi driver because every question we asked (5 of us) his answer was, "I don't know". He also didn't "guide" us anywhere. We were trying to follow him, but he was just following us while we wandered around Heidelberg Castle. The worst part is we asked if he could drop us off at our hotel since we would pass it going to the original drop off location and he said sure. We made it clear if it was a problem that the original drop off was fine because it was just 2 blocks from our hotel. He said he would and we were very clear on the hotel name and address. Then while he was driving very fast on the highway in moderate traffic, he decided to take out his phone and try and map to our hotel. It was so dangerous, illegal, and scary that my husband yelled at him to "Stop it, put the phone down, and never mind because it wasn't worth his life." He then pulled off the road and we showed him the exact hotel name and address on our phone and he put it in his and said we were good. 20 minutes later he passed the one turn needed to go to our hotel, the original drop off point, and drove 20 minutes further and into a sketchy part of town where one of the few things he pointed out on the tour were "crack people" as he called the homeless tent city we were passing. We finally got him to turn around and take us to our hotel but the entire tour was just a terrible experience! It is illegal to pick up your phone while driving in Germany, he spoke on his phone twice with it to his ear on the way to Heidelberg, and then trying to map on the way back was so dangerous! Our travel agent messaged with the tour operator and asked for a refund, but ETS checked with their "guide" and he said everything that happened was our fault, his side was perfect, he "guided" us perfectly, and the only problem with drop off was us. They wouldn't address the illegal activity on the phone while driving or Max's "I don't know" answer to everything. NEVER USE THIS TOUR COMPANY!!!

Was sold a 6 hour boat tour of the Rhine River valley with food included. Got a 4 hour bus tour, and 2 hours on a tiny boat, food wasn’t included. You drive by bus to Kabul before boarding the boat, and get stuck in afternoon traffic. Then you ride the boat four maybe two hours before you disembark for dinner. Which is either a turkey or a vegetarian option. Which again, you pay for. Don’t get back on the boat, you get on a Mercedes sprinter bus to get back to frankfurt. Infuriating. Absolutely false advertisement. Rather burn my money then spend 84€ on this again.

Booked a trip to Black forest from Frankfurt. Reached the meeting point which was obscure and then waited for 1 hour. No information from the local operator, neither picking up phone also. Wasted a day and hotel stay
