Absolutely amazing food! Reasonably priced, extremely tasty Ethiopian food. The best I have had outside of Ethiopia. Doro wat was probably the best I have had! Veg sampler platter was great too. Cash only place.

Another fine discovery on my trip to Frankfurt 👌 Went into the restaurant having never tried Eritrean/Ethiopian food and not knowing what to expect and we were in for a treat 😲 We left an hour later full with sumptous food and richer after a very culturally engaging conversation with the lovely waitress who served us ☺️ Will be back. Thank you! 🙏

Daaro is a nice african restaurant. The ambience is was ok and the staffs were nice and very friendly. This is a cash only restaurant and no cards will be accepted.

Very very nice place. Staff is very friendly and relaxed. Restaurant was completely full when we arrived and we got a small table, but as soon as the bigger table was available waitress offered us to sit there, we didn't even ask. You can definitely feel that the people who own the restaurant also work there and therefore try theyr best so you have a great experiance. Place itself is very cosy, new and clean. Dishes tasted amazing and would definitely recommend a plate to share since its also a great experiance to share the food and eat with your fingers. Also what is important that you would expect a higher prices in such a place, but for 2 of us we paid 45 euros including drinks. Which is absolutely great! Definitely recommend, but make a reservations since the place is usually packed on a weekend!

Tastiest Eritrean-Ethiopian food around Frankfurt with a lovely atmosphere i give it a 10/10.

We've been living in Stuttgart, Germany for almost three years now, and during our travels to different countries and places, we always make it a point to try various cuisines. I often find myself searching for my home country's food. Today, a friend of mine recommended a place, and we finally discovered an excellent Habesha restaurant in Frankfurt. We ordered a variety of dishes, and to our surprise, everything was incredibly delicious. For those who are in search of authentic Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine, I highly recommend trying out Darro restaurant. A big shoutout to the talented chefs and the owner for doing such an outstanding job. They've truly impressed us with their culinary skills.

Excellent restaurant. The restaurant is well-decorated and immerses you in the African Serengeti. The tables are semi-private and nice for conversation. The wait staff are kind and happy to explain what the food is. The dining itself is an adventure. They give you plenty of rolls of it (and a fork if eating with your hands is too much.) The food is very flavorful—not super spicy like I imagined, but vibrant and alive in ways American restaurants sometimes lack. We topped the night off with some Ethiopian coffee, which was great. There’s a modest kids menu for the little ones. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend!
