One of the longest-lasting free jazz and improvised music venues and bars in Berlin. It's been run by a collective of musicians and organizers since 2021.

This is a really quirky, old school jazz venue run by an old school Berlin character. The place is two rooms that have been knocked partially through and in the second room you will regularly find some top quality jazz musicians here which you need to be prepared to pay for by making a donation, sometimes fixed, at the bar. Don't expect fancy cocktails & craft beer but if you want a bar where people respectfully listen to good jazz and then talk to each other after rather than stare at their phones then this is the place for you. The only downside for me is that it is another smokey Berlin bar, although this somehow adds to the jazz vibe

Unusual jazz and nu jazz venue. The place is cool with good beers and wine. The owner is a cool guy very much into the place. It's great to spend a night there, and neukölln is a very cool district where you can find a great restaurant too.

They collaborated with Common Ground to host the Superbooth afterparty. These guys were really professional and ran a really nice venue. I'd like to come again for one of their own shows.

One of the poorest live music experiences ever had was in Sowieso. Still traumatized of the performance, I would suggest to have a better screening process or be more transparent. The two so called musicians, Vetter & Rueß who were performing were rather abusing the instruments and all the listeners inside. This simply cannot be called music in any case. After paying an entrance fee we simply had to leave, including other listeners in the bar, as the sounds was making everyone very uncomfortable.

Great Jazz night 😊. Beautiful experimental music. Loved the experience. 5-15€ at the door

Hard to judge, yet cool for experimental jazz. On a quiet street in noisy Neukölln, this jazz joint (can’t really call it a club) seems to attract a range of lesser known, yet interesting experimental jazz musicians. Probably a good place for producers to find undiscovered talent! The place now holds about 40 people. Since it used to be a butcher some 15 years ago it probably hasn’t changed much in it’s essence. Entrance cover is about PLN 8-10 and the person at the door and the one behind the (poor) bar (serving just mediocre wine, beer and some sodas are two kind volunteers. No snack or food is sold here.

Ein spannendes Kulturwohnzimmer zwischen experimentell und professionell. Wie eine auf der Parkbank vergessene Schachtel Pralinen: Man weiß meist nicht genau was drin ist, und ob es gut ist, es auszuprobieren. Weinangebot: Geschmacklich schwierig.

Great local venue for live experimental music. Cozy atmosphere with nice staff. Essential place to get in contact with the sound community of Berlin.
