Visited
in
late
October
2022,
a
few
days
before
they
closed
for
the
winter.
From
the
complementary
chips
and
salsa,
through
the
main
courses,
and
ending
with
the
dessert,
one
of
the
finest
and
funnest
meals
I've
ever
had
up
north.
The
fresh
salsa
was
so
good
that
I
bought
a
few
tubs
to
bring
home
to
share
with
family
&
friends---they
loved
it
too---next
visit
I'm
going
to
see
if
I
can
buy
a
gallon
of
it!
I
was
fortunate
to
have
met
and
had
a
wonderful
conversation
with
Esther
several
years
ago
at
the
Meijer
grand
opening
in
Sault
Ste
Marie,
I
assisted
her
there
with
her
very
large
purchase
of
fresh
produce,
etc.
for
use
at
her
restaurant.
Because
of
this
chance
meeting,
I
know
she
uses
only
the
freshest
and
finest
ingredients
and
promised
her
then
that
I
would
visit
her
restaurant
some
day
(It's
a
285
mile
drive
from
my
home
in
W.
Michigan).
So
when
I
visited
in
October
we
renewed
our
acquaintance
and
had
another
wonderful
conversation!
Although
the
gift
shop
was
already
closed
for
the
season,
Esther
reopened
it
just
for
me;
I
proceeded
to
do
some
early
Christmas
shopping
while
there.
It's
well
worth
the
trip
to
Drummond
even
if
Esther's
Authentic
Mexican
Cuisine
is
your
only
planned
stop,
Esther's
is
now
my
favorite
Mexican
Restaurant
in
the
entire
UP
of
Michigan.
