Really great activity to do with the whole family or just by yourself. One of the rare activities that are actually 100% free even packing, big bonus. it's not a big place but doesn't have to be because everything is well set up and cool and interactive. better suited for children 6-99 although I went with my almost 3year old daughter and had lots of fun. they even have a cool lightning ball that puts static in your hair it's really cool... I will be going back with my 7 year old as she did not get to go yet. you can take a guided tour that is about 1h30min or walk through freely both are great options and staff are super nice. voluntary donations are accepted but are not necessary.

I registered a Tuesday tour for my 10 and 3 years old children. My 10 year-old child was not able to come. I called and canceled her reservation in the morning. I brought my 3 year old and drove for 1.5 hour to get there. It supposed to be a 45 minutes drive. The weather was terrible, heavy snow, average 40-km per hour on the highway. I arrived 13 minutes late. They refused me to enter, for 1. My son is too young for the activity, 2. I was late for 13 minutes. 3. The activity is in French. I explained that I don’t leave in the neighborhood, the weather was bad, I already told them how old is my son when I made the reservation. We could stand by and listen we don’t need to involve the activity but I don’t want to come for nothing. Besides, both me and my son understand French. The ladies in charge just refused me to enter no matter what. If that’s the way this museum treats people, I will never step in this place ever again!

I will start with one of the best parts : the tour it is completely free. Then, another best part of course, it is that you can learn a bunch of things about electricity with a trained guide. This activity is good for both children and parents and you can spend several hours without getting bored.

Quite a small museum with some good interactive models showing the effects of electricity and magnetism. Has a good introductory video (quite outdated, though). Free entry. Level 2 EV charger in the parking lot. Unfortunately - there isn't much told about all the curious things they have in the video-hall and even some of the interactive exhibits could have some more information for elder students and adults. Electric eels are a must see! (Adding there some Amps/Volts metrics could really add to the experience). Surely recommend this museum for primary school students. Hope they will extend it for the elder people as well.

An amazing opportunity to learn about electricity in Quebec, for free! Great for kids, but very interesting for adults as well. Lots of interactive examples to enjoy and knowledgeable staff. We reserved for English and got a private tour, since we were the only ones :-)

I'd like to thank those, who posted "warning " feedback about the service at Électrium. I'll add one more here, unfortunately. As the majority, we made a reservation on the phone for one of the Christmas time activities. The person on the phone confirmed that everything is great, reservation is done. For some reason, before leaving home, we decided to check if they are open and if there are no changes for today. Actually, that made us read the feedback and we decided to reach them, simply to make sure we are on the list. Honestly, I was sincerely surprised when the person on the phone told me that they don't see my name 😒. There was no reservation for us! Incredibly frustrating! For those, who plan going there, make sure you're on the list before you go. Safe your time and energy. It looks like they don't really care.

Great, hands-on exhibits for learning about electricity with a tour guide to give an introduction to each section and answer questions. Older kids will absorb more but even the 4 year old in our group had fun.

Nice and kids friendly experiments, most of them game like, about electricity and magnets. Fun and instructive. My daughter lived it. And it's free (registration in advance is required).

As a free activity, I recommend no need to book for the guide if you have young children it is better to go at their own pace. Full of discoveries and something to change ideas and make young and old think.

A fun activity to do with your family as it is very educational. The best thing is that it is a wonderful experience with no cost at all! If you book to go here make sure you speak French since the whole activity is in French.

(Translated by Google) Nice to learn about electricity. We participated in Prof Aqua's activity for the second year. Always so good! The activities are free, prof Aqua goes there a few times a year for fun demonstrations. The staff is welcoming and all know their stuff very well which makes the visit attractive. (Original) Agréable pour en apprendre sur l’électricité. Nous avons participé à l’activité de prof Aqua pour la deuxième année. Toujours aussi bien! Thankfully I called to get extra info before leaving with 5 kids...no English tours avaiable today since it is Monday and they have the extra activities planned. The reason we wanted to go today, a Monday, is because of the extra activities offered on Mondays! Not impressed

Reasonably interesting place to spend 45 minutes. The museum is only open on guided tours which you sign up for on arrival.we were the only family on the English tour. Aimed at probably 8-12 year olds it was an interesting look at how electricity is generated and distributed. Not worth a long drive, but if you are local or passing through it is a good way to spend an hour.

(Translated by Google) Exhibition on electricity that was interesting. Short but interesting. The group activities are a few can hard to handle but a group of 10-12 people would be more friendly. The facilitator was competent but had a slight lack of animation skills. (Original) Exposition sur l'électricité qui fut intéressante. Courte mais intéressante. We arrived at 13:30 and unfortunately the door was barred what a disappointment ? Already when I called to book the activity the lady on the phone seemed very busy and very unpleasant. I arrive from Montreal during the holidays with traffic on the roads with my 2 very excited children 15 minutes late and we can't even join the visit to the exhibition. So we had to leave. Very ordinary and too rigid as a management of children's activities too bad.....
