I can’t believe I have to make a review such as this… my sister came home in tears after a racist remark was made against her in the shoppers drug mart by the beauty consultant named Erica. She was told that she was unable to purchase multiple of one item (which was obviously a subjective rule) in order to resell overseas. My sister was just trying to buy Christmas gifts at an affordable price after Covid. I’m honestly speechless. Don’t bother going to the shoppers drug Mart Brookdale is way better. I

This deserves NO STARS but it wont let me leave a review with no stars. This location will hire anyone. Horrible Cashier commenting on the items going through the cash.. personal items. Talking loud enough for other customers to hear. She was rude and disrespectful with a disgusting look on her face when she picked up a certain item.. Will be thinking twice about giving my business here again.

The pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart, Second St, Cornwall was very rude to my husband when he arrived for his pre booked COVID booster(shot number 3). I had booked this on line. He was asked if he knew how to count!! Said it had to be 84 days for his shot! Even though the paperwork he had with him from Ottawa Cancer Center said otherwise. My husband a cancer patient was so needless to say he was irate! He had his 2nd shot at the Brookdale store with no problem! Unfortunately I booked him at Second Street because it is 5 minutes away from us! A Pharmacist is a Medical practitioner and should not be rude to ANYONE!! We will be informing friends and family about this unfortunate incidence, and will not darken this stores doorstep ever again. My husband has had a two year battle with cancer and is so upset, he doesn’t want to go and get his booster! I am an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, so quite aware of the COVID rules and would not have booked him if he wasn’t due. This is so upsetting! Sharon Hunt-Burley

Shoppers is great but their pharmacy needs work. I have to call them all the time or else my meds don't get delivered and I'm always getting hung up on. Frustrating 😮‍💨

I was unavoidably away from home, and had to get some prescriptions filled... without the prescriptions😏 I'm not a regular Shoppers client either, which complicated things. The closest Rexall...my regular pharmacy...was 32 kms away, so my doc sent new prescriptions to the local Shoppers for me. They were great there, and sent the balance of my prescriptions to my home pharmacy for me, (even though it's not a Shoppers). Great service!👍

I work for a virtual health care company and attempted to call in to the pharmacy to see if a verbal prescription had been received and processed on behalf by one of our prescribers. Out 5 calls, each time waiting over 20 minutes on hold, I only managed to connect with a pharmacist once. When I spoke to the man, he claimed no verbal prescription had been left by the prescriber in their voicemail without so much as bothering to check. Incredibly disgraceful considering how the medication I was following up on is to treat diabetes and this pharmacy as well as the pharmacists who work were directly putting the health of the patient at risk. This level of negligence would merit a suspended license and an investigation by the franchise to see exactly why such terrible service was allowed to take place.

Put on hold for 1 hour very rude, poor customer service skills. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I'll defenantly be changing pharmacies. this buy far has been my worst exsperiance. Never have medications available never have it ready when they say. Always argumentative. They do not listen to the customer's request. Very sad.

I just called this pharmacy. The answering service kept throwing me back to the beginning of its designed spiel no matter what number I pushed. Then when I chose to speak with pharmacy about medication, I got a lady who couldn't understand me and then literally hung up on me. I would not recommend this store/pharmacy to anyone!

The cashiers at this location are fast and effective. They also have self checkouts to make it that much easier to make a transaction . Great store vary clean and great customer service

RIPPED OFF— I bought a gift card in January. Got the card home it didn’t work. Brought the card back they said their wasn’t anything they could do, I’d have to call a number associated with Shoppers that deals with this sort of thing. The associate told me they would most likely send me a shoppers gift card, I asked her with the shoppers gift card would I be able to get a different card with the shoppers gift card that they send me she said YES. One month later I finally get the shoppers card in the mail. I went to shoppers to get a different card I’m at the cashier with the shoppers gift card and the one I want to buy. The cashier said she can’t do the transaction cause it’s against store policy to use a shoppers gift card to buy different gift card. I didn’t buy the original gift card just to use it in there store I bought it to use where ever wanted to use it. This is BS don’t buy any gift cards from Shoppers cause if it doesn’t work the will send you a gift card from there store and you are stuck with spending it in there store. F*** this place no more business from me. I can buy elsewhere.

Just want to shout out to shoppers drug Mart on Brookdale in Cornwall Ontario.what great people who work there,Doing a very good job during this crazy time of ours. The only store that I shop at since all this has happened I feel safe when I go in. Thumbs up to all who work their pharmacy team and employees great job!

Just okay as a shoppers location. It’s much smaller than the location than the one down town. You are probably better off going to the newer location on the Center of town. I was disappointed in the lack of available products. Slightly disappointed.

The cashier lady that was working Thursday afternoon was the best cashier I have seen in years you have a bonus with her July 13

Called for info, got assistance from pharmacy, then went to store got what I needed. Perfect in and out.

I had the best experience in the cosmetic department today by Erika. She was compassionate and understood my skin concerns and breakout issues thoroughly. She creating a facial routine to help my sensitive skin. Honest, professional, answered all of my questions. Highly recommend her.

Only go there for the weekend specials, mainly the 6 paks. Sometimes PC Gourmet coffee when it's on "sale"...

Only ever has one worker doing cash, self checkout and stocking shelves always have to wait at least 5-10 mins even when no one is in the cash lines. Not pleased with lack of service

I was attempting to schedule Booster for a friend who has had difficulty doing so. Website simplified process & name has been placed on their wait list. 🙂

Unfortunately as time passed, I realize that the pharmacy staff, although mostly friendly, they lack proper training and attention to details. Over almost a year, I have not received one prescription refill that did not have a problem attached to it. Too bad as I will be moving my file elsewhere.

Erica S from the beauty department is definitely a keeper. She was understanding of my skin type and concern. Her customer service was excellent.

Speical shout out to Erica from the make-up department for being my store mom and helping me find products made for my skin type you have no clue how much this has changed my life and I have only used the suggested product once and already I'm seeing a diffrence it's so nice to have people who care and take the time to listen and understand and be willing to help 😊 I will be back soon to buy all and any suggested products recommend by Erica thank you also to the hair styles lady for all her suggestions and bring me to Erica you both rock I now have face and hair store mama's will be back 😊

I calied to see if what I asked for was there and she went to look and called me back and told me yes so I got it deliverd and it wasn't what I and she said was in very bad service I paid 5 dollar for nothing when I send it back

I am a Cornwall resident. And I had to go to perth to be with my 80 year old mom during covid to be with her and help her. I am happy to do so. I am a diabetic and other difficulties. I transfered my diabetic back to this shoppers. It was my shoppers. I need my lifestyle monitor. They aren't helping me. I even had to call myself to pharmasave in perth to . To even get help. Called shoppers and the hung up on Mr. I'm trying to get off my insulin and feel better. Shoppers in perth made Mr cryvwhen the wouldn't help Mr. I feel so tired and now I don't know my dugat levels. MYbd if I called the police for help. I don't know. Shoppers on second. Worst person I ever talked to. I hope I just get my monitor. Do I can try to help myself to be healthier. They should not have hung up on me and left me feeling this way.
