Am writing this to caution pet owners who have anxious pets or have adopted pets with an abused background. Our experience with My Second home was not at all homely. Their trainer, Shawn, who claims to be an expert gave us feedback after an assessment of our pet, who we planned to home their while we went on a vacation, firstly he referred to our pet as a 'he' and our dear pet is a 'she'. Let's overlook this, his analysis after a very brief assessment was, she is not fit to be homed at their facility because she is anxious, am sure he gave this feedback based on feedback received from his team or because as a trainer he was not able to get through to our pet. He actually recommended us to get a home sitter for our pet, so that she remains comfortable at home, but am not sure how a home sitter, who had no contact or connection with our pet would be able to manage this? Fortunately we found another facility to house our pet before leaving and turns out she was very very happy there for the 10 days we were away (not naming the place else people may think am writing this review to publicise the other facility.) Anyway will never go to My Second Home again. Hope this helps other pet owners with anxious/nervous pets to take the best decision for their pets.

Toured the facility and in my opinion one of the greatest boarding facilities in terms of variety and size of play areas(indoor and outdoor space), rotation of dogs to avoid over crowding, super clean, organized and attention to detail. Great operation indeed. Wish I saw this place sooner.

My second home DIP is an amazing and perfect place for the pet. My dog Luna was too shy but she has changed dramatically. I so much appreciate all the kind staffs and Claya who is a Best handler, and Youenn who is a perfect trainer. I will come again for my dog for sure! Lastly Claya! 💕Thank you so much for everything!

Having been members of MSH DIP since they first opened, I’m very protective of them and the outstanding service they provide. So when they said they were receiving slanderous reviews on Google, I knew I had to post the truth…as I, and so many other clients, see it. MSH is the reason my husband and I maintain ANY semblance of sanity being the proud parents of three crazy rescue monsters! Our pups are amazing, but they have a lot of energy and sometimes we just need a breath. That said, we usually drop them at least one day every two weeks for daycare so they can run and play with all their friends. It’s magical when they return home…tired and happy. They just want to sleep. LOL And whenever we travel, they go to “camp”—often up to two or three weeks—and I don’t worry for a second because if anything happens Sue or someone contacts me to let me know what’s going on (i.e. Pippa has a little rash, Humphrey isn’t eating as well as we’d like, etc.) and to tell me what they are doing to rectify the situation. When my father died unexpectedly last summer and we had to travel, MSH made space for our three dogs even though they were at peak capacity with everyone away. Oh, and I always check the Facebook photos when my pups are there; my dogs have permanent smiles plastered on their faces. Seriously, I understand that no one—business or person—is perfect, but for the people writing the scathing reviews on Google…well, let’s just say they can’t possibly be true! I will continue to support MSH. Thanks to everyone on the team for loving our monsters almost as much as we do! Keep up the great work! And please open a branch in Abu Dhabi sometime soon!!! : )

Great place! Our Lab is always super excited to get there! The team are always very welcoming and knowledgeable which is reassuring when you leave your fury family member. We also had a number of sessions at the beginning to ensure she was confident and comfortable and also to make sure there was a good fit with the existing dogs. It’s not common to find this approach! Thanks again to Sean and the team, you are appreciated!

I was expecting this place to be best in Dubai, they have nice facilities and place was clean and tidy and groomers friendly and nicely with my dogs. Unfourtanetly guy who did assessment to my sighthounds didnt had enough knowledge about these breeds and he had very bad attitude towards rescue dogs and salukis specially and he bring it in in very first minutes we met with very proactive attitude. I cant recommend this to anyone who have rescue dogs, I think they prefer only fluffy ones with super high energy and expect every dog behaving like those dogs do. I was expecting them to understand that different breeds have different behaviours and also dogs have their own characters, but it was not acceptable there. Also my old 15yr old dog (whos eyesight is not very good anymore) wasnt looked good, because he was mainly on his own and getting used to things on his own pace. I would like dogs to be treated more individually despite their breed and background, anyone doing 5-15mins assessment cant say much about dog who needs its time to settle and that was not given. Then they ofcourse wanted to sell me package to socialize my dog, what I would have even get, but this weird attitude problem specially for salukis and rescues was big red flag for me.

A great place for my fur baby. I know she is always well taken care off, loved and she has a blast with other dogs that are well behaved and similar to her age, personality and energy levels. Highly recommend.

Warmly recommended. One of the rare places in UAE where you can go and play with your own dog. Not only a place for boarding and day care. Very professional and friendly staff. Extremely good facilities for the dogs. Nice clean swimming pools, good size running areas, etc. features.

We have been using my second home since Minnie was around 12 weeks old for puppy socialisation classes. After nearly 3 years we would not leave her anywhere else and regularly travel from Abu Dhabi (where we have recently moved to) as we know she is safe and looked after. The staff are always very friendly and always look after Minnie. Even when she is taken in to the play area the staff give her cuddles and lots of love. They have cameras in the bedroom areas so you can check on your pup to see if they are sleeping or eating dinner or breakfast. The staff always reply quickly on what’s app and if there are any issues during longer stays they always let you know. Minnie is the happiest dog when she enters and exactly the same when she leaves!

Lovely daycare for the dogs, fresh and clean, dogs can swim and run alot. Lovely staff ❤️ sooo helpful ❤️
