I really wanted to come up here to admire the views with some drinks following recommendations from staff at my own hotel. However, it was a wasted taxi ride as the snobby and prententious reception door man guarding the elevator in Emirates Towers Hotel lobby refused me access and turned me away. He said my trousers were too casual and I had to go and change. However, he let others up in front of me that were wearing shorts and swimwear. Totally unacceptable to be judged by my appearance and to be spoken to by a hotel employee like I'm something on the bottom of his shoe. I'm sure this is a great bar with stunning views but I never got to find out. I'm a frequent worldwide traveller, my money is good as anyone elses and will certainly take my custom elsewhere.

With extended happy hours starting from 2pm (!) this is one of my favourite "high-end" watering holes. And ladies nights on Tuesdays after 8pm means that your fairer companion gets three free cocktails. These great deals and the excellent views of Dubai make this a must-visit bar.

Went to see the F1 with some friends. A lot of screens including 2 big screens. Just had a quick beer but I think the atmosphere is perfect for a drink while watching F1 or a football game. Keep it up guys!

Fantastic service and food at the Saturday brunch. The service team went out of their way to make our experience memorable. Child friendly - went with two young children and the team went out of their way to ensure their needs were met. Recommend the ground floor for families as it’s nonsmoking. Will be coming back - for the brunch but also an excellent bar. Recommend going out of your way to try the place if you’ve not visited before.

Had a Great British Brunch with my Friends here at ICON and it was a blast! The food, ambiance and staff was 10/10. Phrashant and Tracy was very accommodating and helped us with our needs. Would love to come back again here.

One of the popular watering holes in Media City. Smoking and non - smoking areas that are well segregated and a bit of outside seating as well. Some of the items on the food menu are pretty good and a decent range of beers and hard liquor. Parking can be an issue at times.

Alta Badia has a restaurant and a bar (floor above). The view is excellent, but the food and service were average. I would come back a drink at the bar, which is just lively enough, without being overcrowded

Went for the women's world cup final. Good place to watch all sports and the food was great. I had the beef roast and good options, good flavours and of course a couple beers during the game. Will come again the staff were friendly and good service.

We went into the bar hoping to have a good time watching a soccer game but instead we were interrogated for the first quarter of the game before we were even treated with an ounce of respect from our server Jacquielin. We were ID’d FOUR TIMES by different staff members even though we had valid IDs. They kept coming back looking for excuses to kick us out and even after their failed attempt, our server didn’t seem to be pleased to serve us AT ALL. Nothing much to eat it's a very quite place it could be because I visited then when it was raining.

Nice place to unwind if you are a sports fan and like a bar atmosphere. It helps if you are a smoker or can endure the fact that you will smell like an ashtray when you leave. The ground floor section does not show as many sports as upstairs (one TV) where the smokers convene.
