Very ordinary accommodation for the price. Would recommend that management rectify a few of the following …… replace the two blown globes above bed and the fluro above bathroom basin, replace the noisy fan in bathroom, surprisingly no hair dryer available, pathetic heating and thin blankets. To top things off was the sickening stench from the bathroom drain! I will say it was clean and the shower was good but seriously I feel ripped off and extremely disappointed. We stayed in room 14. It rates much lower than a 3star rating as quoted. The restaurant was very ordinary as well.

They saved us after finding out our motel wouldn't accept late check ins. We were traveling from Queensland through, and would not have arrived in Dubbo before midnight. The man I spoke to on the phone to make the booking at last minute was easy to talk to and very understanding. He processed the booking very quickly. The rooms were well kept and the bed was comfortable. There was tea and coffee when we arrived and he asked if we would like milk in the fridge also. I would highly recommend this motel when traveling through and for last minute bookings. As promised we will definitely stay here again next time when needed.

I think the Thai restaurant need to change the name of the restaurant because when i went eat there is not Thai food otherwise people will get confuse

Good size room, comfortable bed and very clean. This is a perfect place to stay with everything you could want and only a short 5 min drive to town. Staff were friendly and welcoming also, will be happy to stay at Forest Lodge again.

Excellent rooms and facilities. Close to Dubbo Base Hospital. Friendly staff. New restaurant opening soon.

Was ok for a quick stay except shower drain blocked step into bathroom was dangerous was abit tofar from main street if u wanted to walk

Great rooms with plenty of room & with a lounge💛. Check in is a breeze & very lovely people. The cleaners are fantastic & always ensure the room is clean & tidy. Great Thai resturant on the premises with fantastic food. Can be tight to park & reverse out with large 4wds when the Motel is full but usually not an issue🤗🤗🤗

Needed a bed for the night after 10 hours non stop driving. Easy booking, friendly staff. Best sleep I’ve had for a long time. New mattress and comfortable pillows. Meant to be back on the road by 6am couldn’t get out of bed.

Worst experience ever. Rotting Dead insects all over the room. Once complained, you will hear the answer “it’s Dubbo, what do you expect”. I was given assurance that the room was steam cleaned just a week before, which was not true. I took courage of moving beds and drawers and found pile of insects underneath. I got allergies the day after I stayed there. Didn’t even had a spray to kill insects. Careful if you are taking kids with you. Please check drawers and underneath the bed for insects. Especially dead ones. It was an infestation.

The room was clean and comfortable. It had good showers & beds. The coffee facilities had a toaster as well. The restaurant stayed open for us it had lovely Thai food. it was all great thank you for having us we'll be back again.

Friendly greeting, clean room, well provided with tea, coffee, soap, shampoo & conditioner, Thai restaurant attached and great bed. Best of all... mugs instead of silly little cups! Definitely a destination of value to any travellers.

Ticked all of the boxes. Clean, lovely staff, comfy bed, decent shower and coffee mugs rather than skimpy cups. You can really enjoy a nice shower and a cuppa after a day on the road. Thia restaurant beside motel serves meal right to your room. Best Thia I've eaten in ages. Definitely stay here again.

Good sized clean rooms on the edge of town.

Could use a usb charge port wall socket for those of us who forget our chargers.. otherwise bathroom very modern...the bed was reasonably comfortable .. would stay again

Very clean well appointed rooms. Easy access with good parking. Close to shopping, highways, and hospitals. Delicious Thia restaurant on site, popular with locals as well, and takeaway can be delivered to your room. We will stay there again.
