With the church in general changing so much in recent times, it's nice to see St. Canices holding its own. I was raised in Finglas , I made my first communion here, I was a scout and I was invested into the scouts at the alter rails ( now long gone) and I was confirmed here. Sadly as life goes, My sister lay in repose here when she died in 2001, and my dad in 2015, and recently in October 2023 my mother and so much more. To some it's a church, to me it's an integral part of my life and of so many others too.

Mum funeral was here. Wednesday. Nice church. Beautiful flowers 💐 outside parking behind church. Of course have pay for everything.

Went to "A Night at the Opera" here on Thursday evening. Very enjoyable evening 😊 Singing superb. Good to see the church put to the service of the community in this way. All proceeds in aid of St Francis Hospice - a very worthy charity!

Lovely Staff & the Father makes you feel so welcome. I would like to see, maybe even one day per month, for a few hours to be focused on the confession. Also, a recent Seer in Poland was told to ask his priest to allow his flock even 5 mins with Christ after receiving the Eucharist.

Very nice church to visit. Only down fall as of late is they now charge you to park in there car park.

It's a beautiful Church.. I highly recommend to visit If you want you congregate in this church.

It was my Grandson's First holy communion and the teacher done a magnificent job preparing the class for it. The boys all looked so handsome and it was lovely to get the class photo taken on the altar and we also got some lovely ones at the Grotto.

Lovely church. Very good priest. Sounds system needs looking at. Some speaker's facing in the wrong direction at the front of the church.

A quiet and serene church in the heart of Finglas Village. You have to pay to park there.

A good place to park very cheap €1 per hour €5 a day and €20 per week

With a sermon straight out of the old testament, vengeance and smiting aplenty, it's still a long way from modern morality.

Lovely church. Very well kept. An inspiration to everyone from Finglas.
