Rocky
and
his
team
have
been
open
since
Christmas
2022.
His
small
restaurant
is
delightfully
decorated
and
impeccably
clean.
We
are
from
Melbourne
and
LOVE
Indian
food.
We
arrived
in
time
for
the
early
bird
(A
lower
cost
offering
for
people
who
arrive
and
leave
early(for
the
benefit
of
my
Aussie
friends)).
Priced
at
β¬22.99
you
got
a
braod
choice
of
entree
and
main.
As
is
tradition,
we
were
served
with
poppadams
and
various
sauces.
The
poppadams
were
freshly
cookod
and
deliscious.
We
ordered
the
Alloo
Tikki,
Samosas
and,
as
an
extra
special
treat,
the
Seekh
Kebab.
All
were
flavoursome
and
cooked
perfectly.
The
Seekh
Kebab
was
my
favourite
but
alittle
hot
for
my
mother
in
law
(The
restaruant
will
provide
you
with
some
yoghurt
to
held
reduce
the
spice
if
required)
Our
mains
included
the
Lamb
Rogan
Josh
and
the
Chicken
Tikka
Masala.
Both
cooked
perfectly
and
not
cheap
cuts
here.
We
didn't
find
any
fat
or
gristle
(I
hate
it
when
a
restaurant
tried
to
cut
corners
with
poorer
quality
meats).
The
Lamb
was
melt
in
your
mouth.
Both
dishes
were
not
at
all
spicey
in
the
typical
sense
of
the
word.
Fragrant
and
slightly
sweet.
Mains
served
with
fluffy
Pilao
Rice
and
Plain
Naan.
All
in
all,
excellent
food
at
a
great
price.
We
chose
the
cheaperst
Tempranillo
on
the
menu
at
β¬22,
which
was
very
good
drinking.
