We had a dinner recently in Hawksmoor. It was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is very snazzy and the service was slick! We had stunning cocktails before our meal while we were waiting for out table. For the showpiece, we ordered 900g of Prime Rib and it was absolutely delicious. There was also two beautifully tender fillet steaks ordered to our table which were both devoured. The sides of Beef Dripping fries, mash and creamed spinach were top knotch! Only thing that could have been better was the bread. Overall - a great experience and I'll definitely be back.

Went for a birthday Dinner and found it quite busy so would recommend reserving in advance. Loved the atmosphere in here. The staff were very friendly and the manager sent over a birthday dessert on the house which was very appreciated by the celebrant. In terms of the food. We all ordered sirloin steak and it was perfect, very flavourful. the peppercorn sauce was very nice. And the mash potato was probably the best I’ve had. I wish there was bit more effort put in the actual presentation/plating of the steak but that’s just personal preference.

This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back there's loads more on the menu I can't wait to try. We went for the early bird menu as it was just after lunch when we went in. They have a lovely looking Sunday Roast and burger I have to get back for, then the full menu with the Fillet Steak and all the rest of the delicious bits. They also have a great selection from the Bar, with a great range of wines spirits and cocktails. The price wasn't to bad and the staff are very friendly. The building itself is just amazing looking and really looking forward to my next booking.

We entered this restaurant for a quick lunch, and ended up having a very nice time. A great venue (more elegant than the average pubs in Dublin, but still very characteristic), with very nice staff and delicious food. We didn’t try the steaks, but had some beef tartare and smoked salmon: they were both delicious. We’ll definitely make a new visit during our next trip to Dublin!

What an amazing experience! Stunning interior, spectacular cocktails (great value!), nicely balanced menu with emphasis on steaks. Sides to drool over, outstanding service from the front door to the final bill, Hawksmoor is a true "Destination" venue. Cannot be faulted

Absolutely amazing. We visited for dinner on Sunday night and has an amazing 3 course meal. The staff were fantastic and helped us with our meal and drink selections. We ordered the Hawksmoor wine which was delicious and worked perfectly with all of our food. Between us we had 4 different starters and every single one was delicious. Unfortunately they had sold out of the scallops when we were there - so that is going to be the start of my excuse to return. Our table ordered the chateaubriands which were cooked perfectly and the staff advised us on how it is recommended to be cooked (slightly more than I'd asked for because it was a bigger but so needed a bit longer) and it was perfect. One of the best things about Hawksmoor is that they really understand how to do steak properly. A lot of steak restaurants in Ireland under-salt steaks but not here, it was perfect. The staff also helped us to figure out which sides to get and how many to order between us. We also had desserts. All fantastic. I really liked that I could order just one of these cheeses. I personally love having cheese for dessert but usually find that the portion is too big, so being able to order only one worked really well! The only thing to be aware of here is that it is difficult to get in! You have to book well in advance or get very lucky! Please make sure you don't miss out. The restaurant is not cheap but it is worth every cent.

We got up at 3:30am to fly Barcelona to Dublin for a special birthday weekend trip. Our special treat was dinner at Hawksmoor, and yes, it was a treat. The service was excellent, starting with the lovely sommelier who made an interesting suggestion which was spot on and we really enjoyed. The waiting staff were fabulous, attentive but not intrusive and incredibly friendly and helpful. See the photos of the food, delicious. The Yorkshires were amazing. Very highly recommended location, the staff are a credit to the company, thank you for a great birthday meal.

Took avail of the early bird menu, service was excellent, starters and mains were unbelievable, we had the rump with 4 sides. The desserts were fine but not the same quality as the starters and mains. Will definitely return. The service by our waiter Kevin was outstanding.
