I recently visited the shop opposite River Bar, and I must say that I was quite disappointed with my experience. The main issue I encountered was the behavior of one of the tellers. While processing my purchase, he was engaged in a conversation with another teller in a language I couldn't understand. This made me feel excluded and somewhat uncomfortable. To make matters worse, when he was packing my sweaters and baby t-shirts, he carelessly threw them into the bag without any regard for their condition. As a result, they ended up all wrinkled, which was quite frustrating as I intended to use them as gifts. It took a lot of effort to try and straighten them out, and even then, they didn't look as presentable as I had hoped. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, especially considering that it was the only shop in the area where I encountered such issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop to others unless they are in the center and have no other viable options available.

It's conveniently located right in the heart of the touristic area. Good variety and prices are more or less in line with the other stores. Staff is very friendly 🙂

I visited some of Carrolls stores and I loved it. So many souvenirs from Ireland, a lot to choose and some good prices. Everyone was really nice to me, everyone were really helpfull and I spent a lot of money here. I just would like if there were more souvenirs from another cities (there are only postcards) but I absolutly loved it. I had a really nice talk with the security guard in this store who was really nice.

This is one of the best gift shops in the city but not for the great selection of goods. There is a guy in the shop who dresses up as a leprichaun for St. Patrick's Day and even if it's not a national holiday he sings along with the folk songs. A few weeks ago he was wearing a tutu because he lost a bet. He is funny and really nice. :)

If you're looking for cheesy gifts for others or just need a tasteful item yourself, you want to stop in one of Carrolls' many locations. They had a nice selection of the typical tourist items like lucky socks and flag hats to knit hats which come in handy.

Guiness shop... amazing what there is inside from small to the large and pretty fair prices. Helpful friendly staff ( + a few good bargains if you look round). Worth a look.
