    I attended the 8 week Mindfulness for Self Compassion course and it was one of the best courses I have ever participated in. The safe space that Mary O'Callaghan creates to explore, understand and practice self compassion is truly unique. I feel I have learnt a way of being that will serve me for the rest of my life. I now have tools that I can use time and time again to practice and live a life of ease and acceptance. I highly recommend this course to anyone that is committed to living in a more honest, peaceful and compassionate way.

    I've just completed the 8-week Meditation for Self Compassion course with Mary O'Callaghan and found it both personally challenging - in a good way! - and ultimately very rewarding. I looked forward to every Monday night session during the 8-week run, the meditations, personal revelations and group discussions. I cannot recommend Mary and this course enough, she has created a sanctuary in Oscailt and we're all better for it.

    Mary A huge thanks to you for your tireless dedication to teaching the practices of self compassion. I’m surprised to find that I’ve gently softened during the 10 weeks of practice. The softening has allowed a more expansive awareness in which I find myself positively anchored. My relationship with myself, my family and others has improved. When I find myself in discomfort it still steals me away but my awareness and insight has sharpened. These skills allow me to reflect and grow out of the discomforts. Many thanks to you and to all the very brave participants who shared their experiences, listened to me and ate cake!

    I recently attended a course in Mindfulness and Self Compassion course at Oscailt run by Mary O'Callaghan. It was a moving and enriching experience, both because of Mary's knowledge, warmth and experience, and for the open and courageous group of people on the course. Mary is a teacher who truly respects the wisdom and woundedness of each person. I loved the sessions over the seven weeks and leant new insights, skills and practices which have already benefited me. Not every course is for everyone, but if you are drawn to what Oscailt has to offer on its website, know you will be in good hands if you do decide to dive in.

    I highly recommend Mary’s Mindfulness for Self-Compassion Course. I met so many lovely people who were all seeking to learn more about self-compassion. Mary is a fantastic teacher providing a warm and friendly space. If you are thinking about doing a course in self compassion I cannot recommend this course and Mary highly enough.

    I cannot recommend Mary’s Mindfulness for Self Compassion Course at Oscailt enough! During the 8 weeks I not only met some of the loveliest like- minded people, but also learned real life practical tools for managing stress and anxiety with increased self awareness and confidence. Anyone looking for support, in these challenging times, will benefit immensely from this course!

    I have been meditating on & off for 20 years but past 4 weeks in Mary’s class had given me a lot of clarity in terms of the importance of bodily awareness and provided me with the best of both western and eastern psychology. I found the group meditations with some lovely people in Mary’s class very effective to ground me to the now and feel more connected. Mary is a precious gift. I am grateful to have met her.

    This course in compassion run by Mary O'Callaghan is truly life-changing. It has brought me new ways of looking at things and I see the world quite differently now and more compassionately. I highly recommend this course and am hugely grateful to Mary for everything she gave throughout the course. It was very special.
