Great shop; if memory serves, years ago it started as a kind of 'Easons overflow' (i.e. books which weren't economically viable to display on the main shelves were sold at a discount "across the road"). There are some wonderful texts instore - I reckon it's well worth taking 20-30 minutes to peruse (and dare I suggest - have a chat?). Although what with Covid - careful please. Full marks.

Great place with great staff and collection of books. The owner and his friend made my wife and I feel very welcome. Came for the books, but stayed for the conversation.

That's all folks. Went today, place is being gutted inside by builders with a skip outside. Devastated to see this go.

Just like Black Books!! If youโ€™re a fan of the show or Dylan Moran, you need to visit - great experience! I like that you need to put your phone away, a nice digital detox. Jim also serenaded us, heโ€™s a great tenor!

Some great prices for classic books, but most of all the staff at the counter are the type of people that make Dublin Dublin. You'll visit for the books and stay for the chats!
