Randomly showed up here on a Saturday evening, definitely a busy night for them. As my partner and I weren’t fully vaccinated yet we had to eat outdoors. The wait for that was about 30 minutes as there isn’t a lot of space to eat outside. We didn’t mind at all though as it’s not the fault of the restaurant. People who were vaccinated were seated right away, so if you’re vaccinated you won’t have to wait much. Now time for my actual review 😅 The waitresses were both so lovely 🥰 Kind and energetic, and even kept apologising for the wait even though they really didn’t have to 😅 We got the large buffalo wings to share, pesto chicken pasta, strawberry daiquiris and I got myself whatever was in that tall glass in the last slide (I’m not much of a drinker 😅😂) Everything was great but the pasta was a bit bland for my liking. I did add some salt and pepper but I just wasn’t doing it for me. Apart from that I do recommend coming here! I might return once I’m full vaccinated 😉

The food was delicious and the location is right in the middle of everything a visitor could want. Atmospherics were great and the staff was also friendly. The only reason for the lost star is because it was expensive for what it was. Yes, it’s downtown Dublin, but other places on the same street were cheaper for equally excellent food. That said, it’s not a reason to stay away. If the quality is always this high, people won’t leave here unsatisfied with their choice of dining for the night.

Presentation on website looks like a chique restaurant with quality food. After eating here, nothing looks like a quality restaurant. Including 2 ordered plates of myself, 4 other plates of other clients did go back to the kitchen. Ours was rather cold then warm. I had a stew, with dead steamed greens on it. Mashed potatoes and a microwave heated stew. The presentation was not even 10% on what is on the website.

I ordered a smoked salmon as cold starter and a non-acoholic sunset cocktail. Fast serving as we wait only 5 minutes to get an empty table. The staff and waiters are friendly. Very comfortable romantic atmosphere. It was a lovely supper for me and my friend enjoyed it too with her chicken pasta! ❤️

Lovely food, restaurant in a pretty good location. Had to queue for 20 minutes but was worth the wait. Was a very busy evening so service wasn't amazing, but understandable. The price was about average for Dublin. I had the wings & ribs combo and was delicious, My partner had a pizza which was also tasty. Would visit again if in Dublin

Myself and my mother wanted a very good "Full Irish Breakfast" and we passes Flanagan's and saw that they served breakfast all day so we kept this mind. After some shopping and trying to find breakfast elsewhere we ended up back at Flanagan's and had a great breakfast! Service was great with very kind staff. Food was excellent and came to our table fast! Loved the interior design too! I liked it so much I went back there myself two days later! Highly recommended!

Beautiful restaurant Inside outside terrace. The staff are very polite and work hard. You can tell they are experienced. Soup of the day was freshly made with homemade warm bread. Garlic cheese baguette was nice dressed with chives. Only downfall was the manager, he came across a little rude but it didn’t ruin our experience. Would recommend to try if looking for a nice place to eat on O’Connell street

Located in the heart of the city. The restaurant was quite big with closely packed tables, can be very busy at times. Requires no reservations, can walk in subject to availability. We had a fulfilling lunch here. The food was freshly prepared with generous portion sizes and fairly priced. Overall service was good.

We came in for lunch. My mum had the bacon and cabbage which she said was absolutely delicious. I had the vegan burger which was the best I've ever had. Friendly staff and good value for money. Would definitely recommend and visit again whenever I'm next in Dublin.

A slowly-slowly-increasingly-large group of us dropped in for an afternoon snack and a pint. The staff were very accommodating and flexible. We were advised a drink had to be accompanied by food, which wasn’t a problem. I snacked on the deep fried Brie, two battered slabs with a jam-like dip. Very good.

Very annoyed when I booked a table here on Sunday to find that the waiting staff were not wearing masks or visors!!!When I asked why they were not wearing masks I was told it was optional!!!!.This should not have happened..."If it dosent feel safe then its not safe" ...I left and took my niece and nephew to an hotel nearby who were upholding the rules....I will never eat here again....

Hard to believe its nearly 40 years since I was last in Flanagans. I had great memories there and was really pleasantly surprised with the new " new to me " look of the place. Very friendly service, great atmosphere and really quick serving drinks and dinners. Portions sizes were perfect. Most importantly the food was delicious. 5 Stars no hesitation.

Nothing extremely fancy; the pizza was great, but half of the BBQ ribs were not perfectly cooked (some of them perfect, with the meat melting, but others were just bad). If I have to choose something impressive from the place would be the lemonade, FANTASTIC!

Had a good meal with my wife. I had the T-Bone steak (closest in the pic), my wife had the sirloin. She'd asked for medium/well-done but it was served medium/rare (which I'd asked for), but they had no problem taking it back to correct it and even gave her another batch of fresh chips as an apology. The food was tasty, staff were attentive, service fairly prompt, pricing was a little on the expensive side, but portion size was really good. Atmosphere wasn't the best, but it was a Thursday night so not particularly busy. We'd travelled to Ireland from Scotland, by road and ferry, and had to ensure we were prepared with proof of vaccination, clear lateral flow tests, etc. When we got to the restaurant they were checking everyone's vaccination status, so be prepared for that - I'm sure this will be the situation everywhere. It wasn't a problem for anyone, us included. We just showed our status on our phone (NHS Scotland has a great app for this). Also, make sure you wear masks inside - Ireland have very similar laws to Scotland and Wales.

Nice and cozy restaurant with really good food, I think the prices are OK, most people forget that the prices are adjusted to Dublin, no matter if you are in the city center or further apart, the prices really don't change that much and you can't expect to have the same prices like in your own country

A centrally located venue on Dublin's O'Connell street supports a classic American diner style of decor, with red leather benches and booths with a fairly classic long standing menu of all the things you'd expect. The staff are friendly and attentive, paying great attention to current covid guidelines. The fare is perfectly "lovely" much like a dinner you could make at home or have at your grannies, you certainly won't be hungry when you leave as the portions are very generous. The steak was cooked exactly to requirement, and presented well and the stuffed chicken was without surprise, the gravy being particularly delicious. I have to say though it is the first time I've opened my own bottle of wine when the very lovely staff came up short because the bar man went home. It's a lovely space, with lovely staff, and a steadfast menu, it has a lovely personality.

We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The food was amazing. The Chicken Kiev and Buffalo wings are a must try. The quantity was quite generous. We also had our usual Guinness and tried the Gin Negroni and long Island Blue which was amazing as well.

Thr chicken wings tasted incredible, highly recommend it. The stew was also delicious, would've liked more broth but still good. We also ordered the all day breakfast but it was mediocre at best.

We ordered apps and our food at the same time, but they all took about 45 minutes to come out. Food wasn't bad, but service was slow and food was slow. Probably won't make the drive back out here.

The Seafood chowder was actually quite nice but the salmon salad for almost 20€ was just too sad for that amount of money. No dressing just sweat and sour chili sauce. So sadly too dry and not flavorful.

Lovely place for an Irish breakfast or bap to start your day ! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my bap and the staff are so good as well. The food was well presented on the plate. In my opinion, this is good value and well worth the money. The menu is extensive as is the interior. You can sit in the conservatory looking onto the street or inside. Everywhere is clean and warm. It is centrally located on O’Connell Street near to the Gresham. Definitely worth a visit, and reading the reviews, most fellow diners think so too !

Popped in after shopping and had the lamb shank with mash potatoes and root veg alongside the wings starter with a virgin sunset cocktail (I don't recall the name) Food was delicious and the staff were lovely and polite. Warming atmosphere. The food was very filling also.

Visited on a Friday afternoon during lunchtime, and it was pretty busy. -Long Island Iced Tea (tasty) -Guinness (didn't seem to be poured correctly and didn't taste as good as usual) -Margherita Pizza with Pepperoni (below average quality and had a sort of artificial taste) -Sirloin Lunch Steak with Fries (decent steak and delicious sauce) Service and prices were decent for the area. Overall, probably wouldn't return.

I really wanted to come eat here, I will definitely repeat, the food was abundant and delicious, well priced, wonderful atmosphere and staff, I really enjoyed eating with my family, it's their first time in Dublin they loved it!

We’ve been on Saturday for lunch at Flanagans, we just walked in, everything was so delicious, we had for starters pork ribs and bbq chicken wings and for mains we had bacon cheeseburger with fries and onion rings, as well we got pints of Guinness which we’re sooo tasty. As soon as we will back to Dublin we’re gonna go back at flanagans, P.S. The first picture was meant to be the pork ribs and the chicken wings but we were so hungry and they were looking so good and tasty that we forgot about taking a picture of them lol

Food was lovely however the other party in the room in the speakeasy can only be described as belonging in a zoo. Vomiting under the tables, exposing themselves - bearing in mind we had a 16 year old in our company & then inviting my friends husbands to join them and then challenging us to a physical fight when we told them they were being inappropriate. In fairness to the staff they gave us 20% discount from the bill but we certainly will not be back

Lovely place, with an amazing tasty food and reasonable prices. Every time when I'm visiting Dublin I'm eating mostly there. Love their steaks and deserts! Also worth to mention stuff, friendly, with a good sense of humor will always help to choose the best for you if you can't decided yourself. The place is not very spacious, wouldn't suit for a big company's dinner.

Just went for first year to Halloween OSU game. Our truck's passenger window was smashed and hidden purse stollen while in parking lot. Went in to check cameras and consequently the camera had been moved at time of break in. ????????? One could think inside job. Be very cautious about coming here, parking in lot. Businesses should have consistant views of there patrons parking area. This is sad. I hope this never happens to anyone else that parks on their parking lot. Will never go back, Amy and Steve

Have eaten here a few of times while visiting the fantastic city of Dublin. The food is delicious, loved the baked chicken with stuffing and ham, what a treat. Have also noted how careful the staff is and appreciate their attention to social distancing and disinfecting everything. Look forward to some more meals there before I head home and will definitely plan on visiting when I come back. And so reasonable TOO!

Excellent position, the food was good, though the Guinness Pie was not actually a pie. We found the waitress/owner not very welcoming. We had to pay before eating but we could not pay separately... not very handy.
