Good food and great service. We ate upstairs and there was one server! He made drinks, took orders, delivered and cleared tables. It was amazing how well he handled it all, he even heated a baby bottle! The fried fish was a generous portion with plenty of chips. While my definition of a casserole is very different the Guinness and beef casserole was very good. If you're not full try the Baileys cheesecake!

We really enjoyed this place! The service was great, the ambience is exactly what you would want in an Irish pub, and the food was fantastic!! I also liked it because it was packed with tourists.

It is a very lovely and lively pub very close to the spire. I went to this pub all by myself and had a lovely time. The staff was very kind and polite. I ordered myself a pint of Guinness and a bowl of hand cut chips. Also, the Harrison's mayo they serve is not the best, it tastes very acidic and weird. I wouldn't eat my food with the mayo they served. But try your dish with the sauce that comes along with it.

We had a great time at Brannigans. We sat in the upstairs bar which is like a little restaurant of its own. The bartenders were out servers and they were extremely attentive and helpful. I finally had my pint of Guinness in Ireland, as well as a smooth irish whiskey and a delicious irish coffee. I had a lamb stew that was tender and rich. It was a great experience.

Brannigan's was a great experience. They don't take walk-ins but knew we were coming in from a countryside tour and so worked hard to accommodate us. From the service to the food to the atmosphere the experience was amazing. The Beef and Guiness casserole was rich and flavorful. The service was exceptional and the bartender serving us was slammed but you would bever have known it with how attentive he was to us. I would definitely recommend Brannigan's.

Very friendly, well kept beer and the food is value for money but the great plus point is the local people, very friendly and have more then a story to tell. You must try the Seafood chowder, it's to die for........

Very very good! Everyone was happy with their meal. Best Fish&Chips ever had. Friendliest staff in town. We will come back one day.

A great pub with good vibes. I had chicken wings and seafood chowder for appetizers. They were both delicious. Then lamb shank for entre. The meat was well cooked and adequately seasoned. I had a great time. Plus the taxi stand was right next to the restaurant which made getting back to the hotel easier.

Great little Irish pub. Food excellent, traditional home cooked, big portions really filling and hearty. We had lamb stew (€13.95) and lamb shank (€14.95). Service was great, relaxed and welcoming. Guinness was good. Would recommend and return without hesitation.

Great food and great service. It’s cosy but such lovely atmosphere. We shared the seafood chowder for starter which was hands down best chowder I’ve had. I followed with the Irish lamb stew which had lovely meat and my boyfriend had the peppercorn chicken which he said was very juicy. Lovely waiter who was rushed off his feet but still made time to have a conversation with us. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Dublin, especially if they want a hearty meal without breaking the bank. Thank you all at Brannigans.

Great spot for good food and a pint. Found it coincidentally while trying to escape the weather. Dublin is a charming city but in December you will need a place just like this 👍 My husband and I shared some of the delicious sandwiches. Very attentive staff. I can highly recommend this place.

Cons: 1. I felt that I was forgotten about a few times. I asked for water and whiskey, but only got the whiskey. 2. After my plate was taken away. I waited between 3 & 5 minutes for my check. I had to go to the bar to pay my check. 3. I got the Shepherd-less Pie (Vegetarian) and no flavor. Can see by the photos how much was potatoes. Pros: 1. Food came fast, but very hot. Veggies weren’t hot and could eat right away. I went because of the good reviews, maybe that’s based on the beef, lamb, and pork dishes.

The food was good pub food, nothing fancy. We weren't going for fancy so it was perfect! The atmosphere was great. Four gentlemen having a great time of their own loved our Beatles shirts. They started singing Beatles songs and soon the place joined in! Good food, great time we'll never forget. Sláinte!

Had a little break from shopping to have an early tea! Was approached immediately after entering pub. We decided to get a bite to eat and drink. Had a soup starter each, my partner had steak sandwich and I had the stew! All the food tasted amazing. Drinks included half a Guinness and a coke, came to around €37 😋

I wanted to eat an Irish dish I chose "Brannigan's" by chance, the place was pleasant, rather family-oriented, typical and not really touristy, I was comfortably seated and the service was very fast, my Stew arrived in 5 minutes, it was good, the vegetables celery, onions, carrots, mashed potatoes were fresh and melting, the meat was in harmony for this dish...we weren't on an overcooked stew and I liked it. Will I come back? Yes (My dish was beef and Guinness casserole) price was correct.

It was our first night in Dublin, and we were looking for a place to eat. The food was good, big servings. It was crowded and loud downstairs, mostly people drinking, upstairs was a nice place for a meal and conversations.

Cosy little spot in the centre of town. A gem of a find. Excellent service, and all safety protocols in place, and adhered to. Didn't have any food, but what we saw delivered to others looked amazing.

Came for sunday lunch. Had the succulent blade of beef. Tasted like boot leather. The vegetable were bland and the gravy was so thick it blobbed out of the gravy boat. The worst meal I have ever had. Would never return.

We ate dinner at Brannigans in mid-October, 2021. There were not many tourists around, so it was uncrowded. The atmosphere was ideal--smallish, with old world charm but clean, with great service. I loved the food. We had beef and guinness stew/casserole, fish and chips, and a burger. It was as good as any food we had in Ireland. We really enjoyed the evening there. Sad that live music isn't a possibility right now because of COVID.

Friendly staff and a great place for dinner. I had the Seafood Chowder which was absolutely delicious. If you are an old movie buff this would be a good place for you to spend some time as the walls are covered in old Hollywood memorabilia.

It is a very nice place right beside Connolly street. Did not expect to find such a traditional Irish Pub hidden on the side street. I would like to say that the place have a very cool staff. The guys are super professional and at the same time friendly with all people. The prices are good, the food is tasty and the drinks are cold. The place also has a few TV's, if you are a sport fan and very cozy corner sofas for 4-5 people. Highly recommend this place for all tourists, if you want to feel a authentic Dublin experience, this is one of the places. Will come back again!

We came in following the good reviews and were not disappointed. I was blown away by the chowder and the Casserole was as good as I could hope for. Good choice of NA beers. The bailey's cheesecake was nice and not overly sweet. Would go again.

Nice pub on the quiet side of Dublin. Not as busy as expected for 2PM on St Patty's Day in Downtown Dublin. We were able to get a table. Drinks were the usual Irish fair, Guiness, Irish Red, ETC. Food was good. Sandwiches, fish n chips, soups. We had soup. Nice staff. Good layout.

Great pup with wonderful service. My friend and I both had the hot chicken sandwich and chips. I had the orchard thieves cider and my friend had a latte (was a lil cold). The food portions were quite big and we got takeaways. Overall we had a great experience here and would be back again.

Fantastic Irish pub, one of the most historicals in town. The food is really excellent (try the Brannigans chicken wings with hot sauce and the beef and Guinness's stew casserole, you won't be disappointed!) The atmosphere is really friendly, as well as the service, all people are very kind. This pub is popular with locals, and that's a clue. Prices are ok, you can get a pint of Guinness for just 5.90 €, so that's actually 4 € less than the most famous tourist trap in Dublin, The Temple Bar. If I can suggest, avoid those tourist places like The Temple Bar and go genuine, there are lots of great pubs in Dublin that will make you feel like you are at home. Brannigans is surely one of these pubs.

True Irish Pub experience. The pub was extremely crowded with multiple TV sets tuned to an international soccer match. The food was good with generous servings. Service was friendly and efficient for being overwhelmed.

This place is a gem! The food is delicious and filling. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. We came in December so it was decorated for Christmas which make it feel extra homey. The staff were very nice and the food is reasonably priced. A great experience! Very Irish!

(Translated by Google) Bad experience! By the way ... the first beer since I arrived in Dublin! The pub is nice with various beers on tap, from local craft to industrial ... ______ I took a LAMPS LAGER, I opted for a local brewery, (€ 5.70 per pint) the beer was unfortunately OSCENA. The smell of rotten / rotten egg was evident, due to the system being dirty and had to be sanitized! I have been working in the sector for years, I own a local in Italy. Obviously I couldn't deal with it, I pointed out to the waiter, but with a smile he took it away ... So I aim to get a Guinness, the beer that, together with Heineken, is the best-selling in this place, at least since I've been inside. This beer, fortunately, is good, and meets expectations! Convince me that the defective and not drunk beer did not take it into account ... When I ask for an account, I find myself: LAMPS FIVE € 5.70 (Beer not drunk and immediately challenged) Guinness 5 € I don't waste time reiterating, I pay and go out ... Confusions ?! Try better ... if you really want to test this place too, aim to drink Guinness! The tall beer taps have no turn! (Original) Cattiva esperienza!

We were staying just around the corner and chose to eat here after a long day travelling. We were not disappointed! My mate had the Irish stew and I had the delicious Steak and Guiness pie - full of tasty beef in a rich gravy. Prices are reasonable, but the bar is only small, so probably gets full on busy days. Thank you for saving our meeting with our clients! We stepped in and had a perfect space for our business / but informal meeting in 2 minutes thanks to friendly and great team!
