My family has gluten free, vegan, and seafood free members. To find a place that meets all of our dietary needs is difficult. Millstone not only met our requirements but far surpassed our expectations. My fillet was so beautiful it was almost a religious experience. A new religion could be founded on the flavour that exploded in my mouth. It was the purest meat enhanced by a perfect blend of simple spices that never overpowered the meat's natural taste. The sauce made the cut pop, without hiding the true essence of the steak. My husband's vegan tofu steak was beautifully crafted by someone who knows vegan cuisine and did not try to recreate a meat dish. My daughter's lamb shank was tender, falling off the bone, and perfectly matched with the sauce enhancing all of the subtle flavours of the meat. My tip: Make reservations. This place is always full, for a reason.

The food is good. But the food takes forever. We ordered like an hour ago and when we asked about the food the answer was ‘ we are busy tonight we can’t do anything about it” We understand it’s a busy night but a nice apology and explanation would have been a nice way to explain the one hour + delay.

Booked this place to celebrate my husband’s birthday, the lady who’s served us that evening was very lovely. Food were great! We love them, I had mussels as my main and they were delicious. They sang happy birthday to my husband + a choco mousse to share. Made my husband’s birthday extra special thank you!

Loved 😍 every bit of the experience, excellent customer service, amazing food. If I had change anything, would have been the presentation of the desert, but beside that, the experience was amazing

The food is of good quality, but the staff are not friendly at all. They started with asking our friends that arrived first to wait outside while other people could wait inside and get complemtary wine. Then food took exactly 70 minutes and the staff were replying to us saying there's nothing they can do and they are busy with an angry face. To dine for at least 40 euros per person you expect a lovelier experience.

This was a comfortable, eclectic more upscale restaurant. It has a dedicated gluten free menu where we enjoyed our first meal in Ireland. My husband enjoyed his stew and my salmon was delicious. We thanked our server for his attention to detail and reminiscing about the water bottle with the pop top tab like grandpa had. The downpour of rain that day didn't put a damper on the day due to the relaxing environment and good food.

Absolutely delicious! The food is extremely tasty and beautifully presented. This is a must visit if you are visiting Dublin. The staff are amazing and we were lucky enough to sit at a table right in front of the chefs. They are outstanding and the camaraderie and team work between them helps to produce a first class meal. A massive well done to each and everyone of you!

Was here with a group of 16 diners for lunch. Had a wonderful time. Staff especially Mattias Andrea and Caroline were super! Nothing was a problem to facilitate everyone in the group. Everyone was able to choose from the differing menus without any problem. Food was freshly cooked beautifully and creatively presented and offered really good value for money given the Christmas period. All in all an excellent experience and everyone in our group was really happy with their experience. Thanks everyone!

Absolutely delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. No negatives at all. The staff were lovely. Gluten free menu with gorgeous bread, so didn't feel like I was missing out. The wine list was excellent too.

The steak and the lamb shank were both delicious, well priced, and cooked perfectly. The rest of the food just okay though, so highly recommend one of those two.

Didn’t honour the online booking through opentable even after confirmation via phone call the day before. Sent away on the day on Christmas eve. I read the comments that the experience once seated is awful too, so thank you for not letting me in :) Had a lovely Christmas Eve elsewhere and won’t again waste time in this unprofessional restaurant.

Fantastic gluten free options, delightful taste. I ate the gluten free toast (best I've ever had), the lamb shank and the creme brulee. Plenty of options, and I'm looking forward to visiting again. Service was fast and polite. They didn't have coeliac beer when I visited but it is on the menu. Highly recommend.

Fantastic chefs are here! The lamb was a wonderful plate , perfect in every way that counts. The steaks I saw go by make me want to come back and try those as well. Great place.

Small restaurant at Dame street with a Vintage vibe. The food here is good. I went in attracted by the garlicky fragrance coming out of the place and had ordered Pesto garlic bread and chicken with fries. Loved the garlic bread (& the white coloured sauce served with it)! Chicken was too dry for my liking but it was good too. One thing that could have been improved was if they had the facility to Let customers pack and take away the remaining food if they had ordered too much and do not wish to waste it. I love fries and hated to see them go waste coz I couldn’t finish it all.

Their menu was not up to date with their website. They had no sparkling water as they had no gas. The steak advertised on menu was not available. I asked for my steak medium well and said just as long as there was no oozing blood that was ok. The steak should have been fine but all I could taste was charcoal as the grill marks burnt so black into it. The chicken wings ok but not amazing. The 2 other starters nice according to my hubby and friend. The last thing annoying was only thing I fancied on dessert menu they had none of.

Went out Saturday night for a meal . I will never return . Where do I start . The table was too small for four people . Order a mushroom starter with was cold . It was replaced with a new one with was also cold . The main course was ok . The dessert were served in a glass no garnish etc . It felt like get them in and out as quick as possible . The final straw was a member of staff impersonating my mother walking directly behind her in a packed restaurant . The manager did not know how to deal with. We still have not received any apologies .

Lovely restaurant. Our server was delightful. She went above and beyond for our experience. We asked for specific suggestions for a casino after dinner and she asked other employees for suggestions and got us a list. Super sweet. Food was plentiful and delicious. I was especially surprised at how delicious the bowl (which.. why a bowl? Every place in UK and Ireland advertised a "bowl" of Buffalo wings) of Buffalo wings was. In addition, I've eaten wings all over the US and not once has someone brought me a little bowl of lemon water to rinse your fingers. Lovely. Prices were also reasonable. I would just say if you have a tiny bladder, don't sit upstairs, too many stairs to bathroom.

Just out of Covid restrictions... Brought the family. Restaurant is clean, atmospheric thanks to very decent music playlist. Food was great value and my wife and son are ceoliac and enjoyed their gluten free menu options.

Fantastic restaurant and meals. They focus on few lovely arranged meals instead of a huge number of mid class dishes. We had the lamb (which couldn't be more delicate), mushsrooms as starter and mousse au chocolat and it was awesome. Staff was very courteous and friendly. No place for a big cheap meal but if you are searching for a place with some special atmosphere and great food its your place of choice.

Stopped by for lunch on a whim, so glad I did! Service was very quick and each dish was so flavorful. Steak was cooked very well, but could have used more seasoning (please note, I like heavily seasoned foods). The dessert was delicious and price was much more affordable than other places in the area for lunch. Definitely stop by!

Fun little restaurant in Dublin, with several nice steak choices. They got my steak perfect, and it was so tender and flavourful. While not a large menu, there are several good options. They also have a small bar. The service was good, even though they were very busy. Our server was quite attentive and checked back in regularly. I'd recommend making a reservation. Dessert was also very good; I highly recommend the banoffee.

Great food! Each dish was unique and I would have been happy eating any dish my part of four ordered. Definately worth it and we had a lovely time. Water is also included free. My only disappointment was we went here as google maps said they had sticky toffee pudding but they did not. Google maps does not seem 100% up to date in Ireland.

Great place! The smell of the food draws you in and does not disappoint. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves for the first half hour. Beautiful establishment and staff 😊

Quaint small setting with fantastic service and delish meals. The tofu steak with red sauce, green beans, and carrots was tasty. The presentation was very appealing with great colors from the sauce and vegetables. The Guinness and Irish Stew was spot on with a hearty portion size and flavors. A worthy place to visit.

It was a great Irish restaurant which has a traditional vibe. Only the downside is that they packed too many seats in the store I felt a bit uncomfortable. But the food was all great. Lamb shank was tasty.

Visited for a business dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Not too loud and never felt too busy even though all tables were occupied. The staff were very attentive and professional. I had garlic bread to start with and a 10oz fillet steak medium rare. It was spot on. The beef dripping thin cut fries were sublime too. I would recommend this place for an old school dining experience. The interior feels unique and homely. Like it's been like that for decades but in a nice nostalgic way. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

This is our second time at the Millstone, a charming restaurant with attentive, lovely staff. They were happy to accommodate our large group booking at short notice and looked after us very well. Food was imaginative and excellent with a wide range on the menu to suit everyone. Price reasonable for Dublin. Will be back again soon.

How this place is only rated 4.3 is beyond me. I had to return to this location for a second time with coworkers so they could enjoy this place as well. The food here is honestly the best I had in Dublin; obviously fresh vegetables, tender meat, perfectly seased mash and the sauces are excellent. The bartender also makes an incredible gin cocktail. If in the future I return to Dublin, I will be sure to visit this establishment again.

Reservations are suggested but we arrived early enough they were able to fit us in without too much fuss and they were very pleasant about it. I had their Guinness beef stew and my wife their salmon. Both were delicious. Portion sizes were good. If I had any complaints, I would have liked another slice of their bread to go with the stew. It was great. But that might have been too much food. Places like this make our trip to Dublin wonderful.

Great experience in this restaurant in the centre of Dublin, we choose the 2 course menu for €. 25, I started with pesto garlic bread, and as main course I had the chicken with mash potatoes, all delicious, I selected this restaurant as it had good feedback rating. Recommend this lovely restaurant. Staff very friendly.

Stuffed Yorkshire pudding on the menu outside drew me in. It was worth it. Dining companion had the seafood chowder (very good, made in house), and a side of chunky chips (which she likes). They also have skinny chips (which I prefer) here but I didn't order them because I thought the Yorkie would be enough, and I was right. Pity they didn't warn me about the alfalfa sprout garnish (I am allergic) but I was able to scrape them off, so who cares.

We had tofu, cod and beef. Quality of the food was ok, meal preparation was nothing great. Desserts were definitely a mistake: I had better industrial cheesecake than the homemade one. Definitely pricey: 40euros per person was too much for what we ordered.

A very nice restaurant close to our hotel. We both had the two course mean for 25 Euros which was a very reasonable price. The Irish stew was excellent and the bread starter was ok.

Had the tofu steak and I have never ever tasted anything so delicious in my life. I wish the rest of the country would take a leaf from your book. Well done. I will be back again. Thank you for making my evening. X

Food was incredible. We got the oven chicken and the Guinness stew. So many flavours. Staff were lovely. Drinks are a little overpriced. Were we sat was a little crowed. But we would recommend.

They have a coeliac menu. Amazing desert. I think the tofu was OKAY.

Excellent restaurant in the city center. Food was lovely. Steak cooked exactly to my liking. The house Merlot was very good. The mussel and fries was a generous size and very tasty. Service was friendly. Overall I shall be returning.

I used to play here regularly — a great apprenticeship in playing and singing. It was great to return and to enjoy the delicious food and excellent hospitality. I had the garlic bread, 10oz fillet steak with buttered mash, and banoffee. Glass of red wine, too. We sat out front having a drink and people watching while we waited for our table. Good vibes.
