Nice restaurant, food is nice. Steak was actually lovely. We received our bill with an automatic 10% service charge. There was only two of us, I asked why was there a service charge, they said it is automatic. The server said sure with a table of three is 12.5%, why would you complain about a service charge of 10% and ruin your night. I explained I worked hard for my money, and I always tip staff very well when the service is good. The servers attitude was a very bad, he was quite rude. Now we eat in town a couple of times a week, and never have had a service charged forced upon us for a party of two. Won’t be back here again. Put a damper on our night.

Really disappointed in our experience in the restaurant this weekend. This was a regular favourite of ours but we will not be returning now. Our meal was excessively over priced in every element, from the table water at €6 euro to the starters at €13, to the €14 cocktails. All prices across the menu are now inflated. In addition the restaurant are now applying an automatic service charge of 10%. Our two person meal ended up being the most expensive meal we have ever paid for (in memory). As a result, sadly we will not be going back,

Didn't have the wines that were on the wine list . Wine was served too warm. Appetizers were ok. Sea Bream was over cooked, had no flavor. Potatoes were undercooked. Rare steak was medium in one side, and rare on the other. No flavor on any of the dishes. Overall lack of seasoning. Don't recommend thegreenhen33 .

Food was quite good though perhaps a bit on the light side of portion size. Prices are moderate to high which suits the interior and vibe. Our group of four got hake, pork chop, duck and steak. Three of us were satisfied. The restaurant added a 12.5% service charge which I thought was a bit mad and very unusual for an Irish restaurant. I really hate the Americanisation of hospitality however it wouldn't stop me recommending this restaurant but I doubt I'd go back myself.

Food and service were pretty good. The beef bourguignon was excellent. The beef was so tender I barely needed a knife, and the sauce was very flavorful. I also thought the creme brulee was particularly good

Nice atmosphere, drinks, food and staff. We had a really good evening on The Green Hen the waitress was extremely kind gave us nice suggestions for drinks and food and let us know the bartender was able to do some drinks by request out of the menu. Definitely we gonna back soon.

The Dinner Menu is top notch quality. However, I'm rating two star, as there was a mandatory Service Charge of 12.5% added to our bill (for only a party of 3 people). The service charge ended up being 20€ additional to our bill. Customers should have the option and choice to tip as they wish. The sooner the state brings in new legislation to prevent restaurants on these charges the better.

Just had a fabulous lunch with friends. The excellent starter of smoked salmon followed by a main course of beautifully prepared pork chops was the best I have had in a long time. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will dine there again.

The food is good. A bit surprise of the service for surcharge but it is ok. We were advised about the tiramisu which is not a traditional one and it was actually a bun. Overall still good experience and would come back for some special events

This is one of the best in Dublin to get good quality food and drinks. I have tried Guinness in many place but not as good as here. They have quiet good ambiance. Also the chef here have magic hands. He make superb food. The people here is also pretty good.

One of the best French eateries I've dined at. Outstanding service, very creative, small menu. Considerable portions, we could not finish the duck. I would absolutely return.

Recommended by a friend who sadly could not come but my wife and I went. Busy, buzzing, great atmosphere, very helpful staff and a pretty fair wine list. Highly recommend but as it is not large suggest booking

Great food. If you're in Dublin and want something else from the Irish kitchen, this is the place to be. French inspired, the food is great. The atmosphere is great and created as well by the team who serves you. They will help you with everything they can and tr to give you the best experience possible.

Outstanding food and service. Really wonderful! The menu is quality over quantity but refreshingly varied and the staff are superb and go above and beyond. An absolute gem in Dublin's city center!

Amazing, amazing food, the best I have tasted in Dublin and really lovely wine. If I were to have one complaint it would be the music, it can be really loud and not the type of music I want to listen to in a restaurant, but it's a small price to pay for fantastic food and very friendly welcoming staff.

I brought both my parents here for dinner. They both asked for meals to be customized and the Green Hen accommodated their request. All three of us were very happy with the service and the food was very high quality. We now know a great place to eat in Dublin.

Nice traditional French food with one of the most French experiences I've had outside of France, right down to the paper table cloths. No free bread though. Particularly loved the Creme Brulee which was huge

Stopped in on a Sunday post brunch pre-dinner. An excellent location and very pleasant interior with a good bar and excellent service. Had a soup, salad and a coffee. Food albeit simple was excellent the owner was very accommodating in giving a bit of history on the building and service was friendly, efficient and just very pleasant. Will be back for dinner as the place has a great reputation just tends to be busy. A highlight was the fixed price options as it can be difficult to get value in Dublin, you will find it here along with a real fire!

Excellent venue. They take their covid protection methods seriously. Cert and ID required for entry. Food is excellent. My steak was cooked exactly how I like it. The fish of the day was hake and was enjoyed immensely by my wife. Their pricing is very reasonable for the location and quality. Thumbs up!

Lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and excellent service. Cauliflower soup was incredible, sea bass perfectly cooked (slightly over salted), and the chocolate mousse with the honey comb was just delicious. Wish I had gotten a scoop of ice cream to go with it but that’s another reason to come back!
