We
visited
here
on
a
Saturday
evening,
when
the
restaurant
was
reasonably
busy
but
by
no
means
full.
We
ordered
two
mains,
a
side
of
pita,
and
a
bottle
of
house
wine.
The
meals
arrived
in
2-3
minutes,
which
doesn't
really
align
with
the
menu's
promise
that
all
food
is
cooked
to
order,
and
in
any
case
the
portions
were
small
and
borderline
tasteless.
Funnily
enough,
the
pita
bread
was
the
most
disappointing
aspect
since
it
was
recognizably
out
of
a
supermarket
packet
(I
want
to
say...Tesco)
and
still
cold.
No
harm
no
foul
so
far,
we
thought,
just
a
disappointing
meal,
but
then
the
bill
arrived
and
we
found
we'd
been
overcharged
for
every
single
item
on
the
menu
*and*
there
was
an
additional
service
charge
which
neither
of
us
recalled
seeing
mentioned
on
the
menu
(caveat:
it's
possible
we
missed
this,
but
the
price
mismatch
was
confirmed).
The
manager
on
the
night
addressed
the
discrepancy
and
took
both
the
service
charge
and
difference
in
prices
off
the
bill,
blaming
Brexit
for
both
their
price
increases
and
inability
to
produce
new
menus,
but
to
be
honest,
it's
tough
to
buy
this
excuse.
There's
a
good
chance
we
weren't
alone
in
being
overcharged
on
the
evening,
or
on
other
evenings
before
and
since,
and
I
saw
no
effort
to
redress
the
issue
on
the
evening
with
simple
measures
like
temporary
paper
menus
with
correct
prices
or,
you
know,
pricing
things
according
to
the
menu.
There
are
many
other
Middle
Eastern
restaurants
on
Camden
Street,
let
alone
in
Dublin,
and
I
wager
any
of
them
would
be
more
deserving
of
your
business
than
this
lot.
Go
elsewhere.
