A table for five of us was found quickly without a reservation. Food was very good. I had the club sandwich which I was unsure whether I had to eat it or climb it … it was huge! The food my friends had was complimented equally well by them. Fairly attentive staff without being overpowering made this experience very good and the prices for what we had were reasonable. Recommended as an eatery in Grafton Street area. Well done guys.

Lively place with unique decors.. they have music albums and guitars on the walls and ceiling… the staffs are all friendly and attentive. Food was also good and portion was big for the price… the spaghetti that we ordered tasted a bit bland though so just heads up on that one. The place can be quite loud but we liked it and i think it makes a fun and relaxed vibe.

A truly hidden gem within Dublin! 1) Service is fantastic 2) Food quality is superb 3) It's a close proximity to everything in the center 4) Portion size & presentation are decent 5) Worth the price that you pay Visited twice already within a month. First for wings (image attached) and then for a Smokey burger (image attached)

We ate here last night. The starter wings were tasty, but then we had to wait ages for our main burgers and our kids had finished their meals. So they were getting a little bored. Burgers came 30 minutes later, we were all pretty thirsty but never got more drinks we ordered or water. The burgers were plain, not much seasoning. The chips were tasty. We then had to wait another 30 minutes after eating just to get our bill. All in all, we waited a very long time between eating and it was super busy. Food was OK. Atmosphere was cool with the memorabilia.

I had a dinner here with my friends about 20 years ago during a trip to Ireland. Decided to have some American (north and south) steak food here again. There is just a single door leading to this restaurant but I managed to find. Ordered a delicious Philly Cheese Steak*. The cheese and the vegetable stuffing was a very good match to the steak. Will com back again. *PHILLY CHEESE STEAK (Grilled steak with sautéed mushrooms, onions & mixed peppers topped with a blend of mozzarella, cheddar & garlic mayo, baked in a hoagie bun with a side of pepper sauce).

Not good. This pasta was watery, had raw cherry tomatoes and full chunks of garlic throughout. No seasoning, bland and they even messed up cooking pasta making it mushy. Taste extremely cheap. Staff was very rude and took their time coming despite it being 3 o’clock on a random Tuesday and vertically empyu Atmosphere and memorabilia on the walls was the only thing that remotely saved it.

Loved this place! Stopped in one weekday afternoon with a group of friends and it wasn't busy at all which we liked. Friendly bartender and relaxed atmosphere. Prices were average for the area.

If you are looking for a little piece of America in Ireland. Be sure to visit Captain America’s located at the top of Grafton Street near St. Stephens Green Park. The food is amazing! Great selection of hamburgers, beers and amazing deserts. The restaurant has being open since the 1970’s. If you ask any person that grew up in Ireland during the 1980’s I would guarantee they visited this establishment. It should be noted I am originally from Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and traveled all over the world with the US Marines. I definitely know a Great Restaurant from all my Travels and life experiences. You won’t be disappointed! Great for lunch or dinner. Very Casual and a must visit when in Dublin, Ireland.

Stumbled upon this place and haven’t stopped going there ever since. I am a huge fan of their pasta and fried mushrooms. The quality and the taste for what you pay is impeccable, They have student discounts and they are very easy on the pocket. For a weekend, you might have to book in advance, but otherwise, you will find a place to dine in.

Wen't here for a friend's birthday, was given poor service and asked for a refill that took way too long, the food was engulfed with bland cheese that was concerning to both the eyes and mouth, for cake, we ordered the volcanoe cake, biggest mistake of our lives! It was freezer burnt and consisted of just ice cream and broken pieces of brownies, diabetes on a plate. Food was dreadful! Poor service, do not recommend!!! Avoid 👎👎

The staff is great but the food is VERY mid. 15.95 for a “Double Pepperoni” pizza that barely had Pepperoni was completely misleading and overpriced. The chicken tenders (16.95) were also disappointing. If you’re a Captain America fan you’re might enjoy the place for the vibe and decorations, but if you’re looking for a good meal you should definitely avoid this one.

The place is quite popular, it gets busy during lunch and dinner time, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. The service can be improved, it was slow during my last visit. The food was overall tasty, but nothing special. The chicken wings were dry, with not enough sauce (barely hot). The philly steak sandwich was better, only the peppers should have been cooked a little bit more. The atmosphere was nice, like an American restaurant.

As good as always. Havent been in almost 2 years until today, but the staff were as friendly, attentitive and respectful as they've always been, even when the place is busy and they're under pressure. Food is outstanding (wings and New Yorker Burger), even through the limited menu and busy environment (1hr 45 min wait). We booked in advance to avoid this wait and everything went smoothly. Consistently high standard in the 15 years we've been going.

Visited here while visiting Dublin. They have great food at honest prices. The wifi is fast and the staff is very friendly. Would eat here over most American style places even in America

Very disappointed 😞. We waited 40min for our order. And whan it arrived 2 out of the 4 burgers were cold. I alerted our attendant but it seemed to bounce off her I also alerted the guy that took my money but he also seemed not to be bothered. Very sad as I had great memories if this place in its hay day and really love the restaurant decor. It's hard to get good help these days..

Great experience, lovely atmosphere. Our waiter david was so so nice. We got a pitcher of coke for 7€ which was so many glasses worth. The food was amazing and so was the desert. Would 100% recommend this place.

Casual place for a bite at the heart of Grafton St. Very chilled and casual, nice food. Staff were friendly, the only thing is that we ordered a milkshake with the food and it seemed like they forgot about it, so we got all the food and after a while we had to ask for the milkshake. Other than that everything was good.

Food never disappoints here. I love the cajun sauce and the cocktails are sublime. Great value for money and kids meals are the perfect size.

One of my favourite places to go. The portions are big and yhe food is lovely. Mocktails and cocktails are really taste and super affordable. The decor is fun and it's a nice vibe

Normally a favorite but this time the food lacked flavor. The ribs we’re just full fat. The onion rings and the chicken wings tasted like they were cooked in month old oil. The chips came in a pool of oil. The manager was very nice but for the price the food was not worth it

Good portion of chips and size of burger but my burger meat lacked flavour compared to my past visits to captains. It seemed drier and unseasoned maybe

Chicken wings are absolutely amazing, staff were so lovely and helpful expecially the blonde lad and a girl in a white shirt. Portions were so big and food was so tasty! Really highly recommend this restaurant ❤

The food was ok but the burger was lacking seasoning and there was not enough condiments in it to make it more flavoursome. Mozzarella sticks were tasteless again and the raspberry sauce did not help as it was lacking flavour. Fries were nice. Also people who arrived after us got their food earlier which was annoying. The staff was nice.
