I heard a lot about this place and are rated very good on Google maps as well. So, yesterday finally I ordered Chicken Korma from here and plain naan. The packaging was very good, they send papad and one diet coke as complimentary with one onion salad and chutney. The delivery was quick and appreciate that. However, the most important thing Korma which I ordered and had high expectation was pathetic. I have never had any curry worse than this. It was I don't know which gravy but definitely not Korma. Too sweet as if we are having sugar cooked with some spices. This dish can make people hate eating Chicken Korma. I can understand that the level of spice can be requested but you can't change the taste of this dish only with spices. ** I would recommend the chef to please go back to India and learn how to make Korma first but don't serve this on the name of Korma ** I am saying this again that this is the worst curry I have had in my life. I am not sure about other dishes but Chicken Korma is definitely not recommended from this shop. 1 star only because of complimentary stuffs, packaging and quick delivery. Wasted my €12 yesterday. Extremely disappointed.

Delicious food and amazing service. This place has some of the most attentive servers we've got so far in Dublin. We got the delicious spicy prawn vindaloo curry, lemon rice and delicious naans, also, chocolat brownie. Everything was really tasty.

All food items were palatable. The Mango Lassi was delicious. Didn't enjoy the Chicken biryani much. Good options on the menu for lunch and dinner, affordable combo menus. The staffs were very professional and the service was swift. The restaurant including washrooms were neatly maintained.

First time having Indian/nepalese dinner and the experience was positive. Mild taste, creamy and tender. I’m addition, marvellous customer service. I’m looking forward to visiting Kathmandu again.

The last time we were here was long before the Covid pandemic hit and the food was as good as we remembered. We ordered the kukhranko pakora, tareko jhinga, khasi seekh kebab with madras sauce, Nepali lamb rogan josh and pilau rice as our side via Deliveroo. First of all, we got some complimentary stuff like poppadoms and beer which was truly appreciated. The chicken and the prawn that we had to start were both addictively delicious with lovely textures and packed with flavourful spices. The same can be said about the seekh kebab and the rogan josh – the meat was moist and tender. Very happy with our takeaway and we’re looking forward to dining in here again.

Went with a group and initially had a good vibe and was comfortable. As with group bookings people sometimes are late to arrive. The staff were getting increasing rude every time and started harassing and bothering us asking whether they can take away a table from our booking (they ended up taking it before we even finished paying and forced 2 of us to wait outside). What shocked me was that while ordering they would not let us order only appetizers and basically forced us to order main course. This is not normal and not acceptable from a restaurant. No one should be forced to order anything. If it was me alone I would have just walked out of the restaurant. The price is not justified and the quality of the food was horrible specially the chicken korma. €0.69 Aldi korma sauce tastes better. On top of that we were charged a service charge for the horrible service we received. We did go there on a weekend and it was busy, but that does not justify the rude behavior and forcing customers to order food that they don’t want or need. I have great friends from Nepal and they cook amazing food. This is not representative of Nepali food. Will not recommend and will never go there again.

My wife and I dined at Kathmandu Kitchen twice during our recent short trip to Dublin. I had never had Nepalese food before, and I was blown away by the vibrant flavors and beautiful presentation of the food. Everything we tried there was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant whenever you are in Dublin.

Food was amazingly good , very delicious . As for the atmosphere too loud need to yell at each other and we were a group of 5 which made it not very convenient. When food arrived wasnt even sure i got the right order due to over loud background noise (talking from over customers + over loud music bad combo) at least music you can ontrol the volume which they didn't done.

Portion was too small for the price. €20 for a lamb a briyani that wasn’t even enough to serve one person. Briyani was too oily and rice was wet. The mixed starter for one had 2 cubes of chicken breasts and cheese sauce along with a samosa. If that’s supposed to feed one, then we should bring children to the restaurant instead. I’m outraged and embarrassed that I thought this would be a great place for a date. Surprised that my date didn’t break up with me after this terrible experience. Took an hour to receive food that wasn’t enough to fill a third of our stomach. Service charge was unjustified given that waiter didn’t even ask how the food was. I know it’s overpriced because I’m a fan of Indian food and have visited many Indian restaurants around the world.

By far one of the best restaurants in Dublin! Thoroughly enjoyed every course. Momos were fingerlickin good. The Mixed platter was Great. Even Garlic Naan was authentic and delicious. Must Try: Coconut Givre(dessert) Totally an amazing experience. Totally satisfied ✨

If you're craving some decent Indian cuisine without too much of oil or spice and want something close to home cooked food, this is the perfect restaurant to go to :)

We went in after lunch but before dinner. The food was delicious, warmed us up from the inside. It's a great location for people watching from the window seats. The staff was friendly but could have been 10% more attentive - there were a few moments where we needed something but couldn't get anyone's attention. As more people came in though, there seemed to also be more staff available. This was from May but my mom got the prawns as a started and loved them. Most of us ordered the lamb something which was delicious and i had plenty to take away for later. I didn't end up eating it though...

My go to for butter chicken specifically, so so good! The portions are really big and it goes with both basmati rice or butter naan! The onion bhajis are tasty and crunchy. The service is also really good and fast. The mango lassi is amazing as well. I highly recommend this place.

Great experience at kathmandu kitchen last night. They have a great taste and beautiful traditional environment. Food was fresh and authentic Indian/Nepali. Also manager was very kind to offer us complimentary drinks. All the staff at the restaurant was very kind.

The Katmandu kitchen serve some of the delicious food. Their starters were the best. Few of my personal favourites are tempura prawns, paneer tikka, butterfly prawns and creamy chicken. Their biryanis can’t be categorised as authentic biryani but a fusion of flavours to suite to various palates. Also, the price point for biryanis are quite high and we ordered three types of biryanis but the base flavour is similar. The ambiance and service is top notch with quick service. Suits of family gatherings and friends meet-up. They do serve few cocktails at the bar but haven’t got an opportunity to try them. Overall, a best place to taste some delicious starters, desserts and some north-India style of mains.

I went with my husband during a date night and really enjoyed the food at Kathmandu Kitchen. I had the Aloo Chap as a starter, followed by the chicken masu ra saag with rice and raita. It tasted lovely. The only reason I give the atmosphere a 4 is because there was hardly anyone in there when we were there. We visited in a Monday late afternoon without a reservation and had no problem getting a table for two. Saying that it seemed as if the window tables were sought after so make a specific booking for window seating if that is what you want. Would definitely recommend 👌

They were able to accomodate us without a reservation on a Saturday night, which was great given the restaurant was packed and booked. It gets noisy and crowded. The food is good. They were out of chicken momos which was the main reason we wanted to dine at a nepalese restaurant. Our favourite was the lamb seekh kebab and the fresh keema and GOC naans were excellent! We ordered the tendoori mixed grill which comes with potato curry sauce on the side. The tandoori chicken was okay. A bit hard. They should use dark meat instead of breast meat. We also ordered a lamb dish which was average. The staff is nice. They got us some shots after dinner which tasted like after-mints. It was nice.

The ratings on Google are so good and that's why we thought of going there. But the food was not very good. We ordered a briyani, kadai paneer and a chicken curry ( I forgot the name). All three of the dishes had the exact same curry used just thay one was just the curry, one had paneer and the third one had chicken. It was just a common base curry used for all the dishes. The vegetables in the curry were not even cooked properly and they were just raw. However the curry was if decent taste. The naans were also soft and tasty. Over all I wouldn't be coming back because the restaurant uses the same curry for everything and the portions are very smalls. There are much better options out in Dublin.

Lovely, friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Great food. I had an amazing fish dish. My friend loved the vegan option. Excellent wine list. Delicious Chardonnay/Albarino combination. Nice atmosphere. Definitely going back there.

Delicious food! We've eaten here a couple of times and love the tandoori chicken! The prices are reasonable and portion sizes are great. They even gave us a free sprite and a couple chutneys in our delivery order.

Disappointing! The starters were really tasty but the main dishes were just not good. It seemed like they used the same base sauce for all of the dishes. However I have to say that the waiting staff are very nice and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant and staff. We've had many Indian meals over the years in Ireland, but this surpassed them all. Fresh food and great, no pressure waiting staff. Highly recommended.

Had a fabulous dinner here at the weekend, we had the set menu, two courses for 22 euros. The food was so fresh and flavoursome and the wine was great too. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!
