Excellent location walking distance to Temple Bar and Trinity University. The room was very clean when I walked in, plenty of soap and towels. They have a kettle for coffee (instant) but it's walking distance to so many cafes and restaurants. The staff was very very nice except one gentleman when I was checking out. Breakfast is more than adequate the Irish sausages is where your life is at 😋. I called to request early check-in; while not guaranteed they were more than accommodating. Few tips for my fellow Americans: Bring the European travel plug with you. Slip your room key in the slot next to the door to activate the lights and plugs, you have to manually flip the switch to charge your items. Enjoy your stay!

Great location, well connected to the walkable city as well with a direct bus line to the airport. Teo and the crew were the perfect hosts and I had a quiet room in the center of the city. A few late night bites are available as well as a nice breakfast buffet. Maybe install another coffee station to cut the line a little shorter.... :-)

I haven't been in a hotel this clean in a long, long time. You guys rock! -Check-in was easy and fast -Staff was very friendly -Rooms awesomely clean. -Breakfast, in the first day was not good and lacking some things, it was an early breakfast (7:15am); but the second day was really nice, simple, but nice (9:00am) -Location is good, 10-15 min walking from the downtown-bar area, 30 min by car from the airport, and all good here, just 4 stars as some locals told us not to go beyond certain point. So... pretty safe area... Just always walk towards the downtown and not the opposite

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This web site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. Hôtel is in perfect location, within city centre and air coach buses to airport metres away. Breakfast has a great variety of things to eat. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable. After an overseas flight i can hardly wait to get to the hotel and chill out for a few days. Staff are amazing.

This hotel is in a perfect location. It's a short walk to Henry Street market, lots of great places to eat and tourist attractions. The hop on/hop off buses stop on the same block, as does the bus to airport. Rooms are comfortable. Good breakfast. Next time I'm in Dublin I'm definitely staying here again!

A fain hotel on the central street. We arrived at the hotel after a long flight at 2 pm. The room wasn’t ready although it says that check in is in 2 p.m. Only at 3 p.m. the room was ready and we didn’t get any explanation or benefit from the waiting. The breakfast is well made and has all the ingredients. Breakfast is opening between 6-6:30 a.m. which is perfect and very comfortable. Room cleaning is very late but good. The beds are narrow and not very comfortable. Overall a fain hotel with a very good location.

Fantastic stay, easy check-in and out, kind staff, thorough housekeeping and a lovely bright, spacious room with everything you might need. Discounts included for parking and a coffee at the cafe immediately next door were a great bonus. Lots of variety for both food and drinks at the included breakfast, although this aspect was also the only setback of our stay when it came to having an allergy and figuring out what to eat, as staff seemed uncertain and the allergens menu was hard to read due to some pages being stuck behind a container which can't be moved. Overall though the stay was brilliant, location is right in the heart of Dublin, close to everything you could need including parking but just far enough from the bars to still get a good night sleep. Would absolutely stay again.

We just returned from a trip to Dublin, and we are glad we chose this location for our stay! It is very conveniently located and within walking distance to Trinity College, restaurants, the theater and more. If you have mobility issues, it's as short taxi ride. The rooms are large by European standards and very clean and comfortable. They include a great breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, and normally I only stay in local B&B's, but this was a great choice!

Excellent location. Super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is decent. It’s plenty to get you going with your day. I found the bed and pillows to be a bit firm for my taste (yes I flipped the pillows over as one side is soft and one is firm). Housekeeping was hit or miss. Seemed to forget towels. Could use a little light maintenance with faucet and A/C. I’d stay here again.

We spent a very pleasant weekend in this hotel recently and could not find a fault with it. It was very comfortable, our room was spacious and bright and had everything we required. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good with a plentiful supply of bacon, sausages and eggs together with breads, croissants etc. It is a great location for shopping, theatre and tourist attractions. It is easily accessible with the Luas stop just outside.

The best Holiday Inn Express I’ve been to so far. Staff is amazing, free breakfast is slightly above average and we had a wonderful corner room on the top floor with amazing views of Dublin. The location is as good as it gets. Whenever in Dublin, stay at this hotel. The only thing, that can be improved is the cleaning, but still the level of cleanliness was above average

The location, price and service were superb. It made it so easy for us to walk around Dublin and explore. We did take a taxi once just because we didn't want to walk buy it was absolutely doable. The room was sufficient. The only thing I didn't like was the bed was very uncomfortable. A well slept on spring mattress. But besides that, I actually would stay here again.

One of the best customer services I’ve ever received at a hotel!! We ended up getting an early flight to Dublin on little to no sleep so we were knackered when we arrived at the hotel. We asked Ana if we could check in early and she managed to get us into our room before the official check in time with no extra charge!! This made our trip as we managed to catch up on our sleep and enjoy Dublin. Rooms are great, breakfast is good too. Highly recommend and thanks Ana!!

Great location. Shopping and pubs and Book of Kells and a Dublin Castle all within walking distance. And you can build your own full Irish breakfast! Staff is friendly and attentive.

Enjoyed our 6-night stay here! Things We Enjoyed: -Decent beds (springy/firm) -Basically noise cancelling windows** -Semi-blackout curtains -Daily breakfast -Cold water fountain in lobby -Ample outlets in room -Clean hotel & daily room cleaning -Friendly staff -Can request ice in lobby -Great Location (walking distance to bus stops, dart, & river) -Decent water pressure & quickly heated up -Quick elevators **Our room window faced the beer garden of the nearby bar - when the window was open, it was quite noisy. But we kept it shut and were never disrupted. No complaints here! Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Actually quite a nice hotel option close to Dublin City centre. Rooms are small as you expect in a city but the bathroom design is clever to work with the space they have. Amenities like tooth brushes etc if you forgot on request and a pretty good breakfast buffet option with eggs, breakfast meats, croissants, We landed from the US at 4 AM and arrived before 7 and were able to put us into rooms for naps before hitting the town. They also offered us the breakfast buffet that first day which was awesome. Some noise from the bar but didn’t bother most of our group and we also watched the all Ireland hurling finals from that bar so in fact it was almost convenient. Easy to get taxis if needed but plenty short walk into town. Would definitely recommend for a fairly affordable city hotel experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the onset of our trip in Ireland. The breakfast was really great every morning! You will be north of the main Dublin nightlife, but O'Connell has its own vibe too! Walking distance of 15-30 min to get anywhere you want to go. Room was tight, as expected with a downtown hotel. Parking was a bit tricky when arriving, recommend parking the car and leaving it until you're out of the city!

My second stay. Convenient location to downtown shopping, eating and about a 20 min walk to Temple Bar. The outbound airport bus (700) stop is across the street and inbound at the Gresham almost next door. There is a bar in the lobby. From 6 to 9 am breakfast with a great selection is served in the eating area. If you are leaving before 6 am, you can request a takeaway breakfast which consists of an apple, orange, banana, mini muffin, croissant and a bottle of water. Rooms well appointed and very quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable. The facility is immaculate. The staff are friendly and helpful. I don't know the name of the man who served me on Nov 20 but he was very pleasant to converse with. The tram goes past the hotel as do several city busses.

We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and matched the description on the hotel's website. We were able to reach every destination in Dublin by foot. Breakfast was very good. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Dublin.

Great location with a really great included breakfast. We really liked the rooms as well. The biggest issue is noise. It’s above a really loud bar so you can feel the bass and jumping. I was even on the top floor and could hear/feel it in my room since I was near the stairway. That being said the bar stopped at 12, so it didn’t keep me up late. Really good location. Close to everything. Clean. Comfy bed with firm and soft pillows which is nice. I recommend!

My baggage got lost when connecting in London, so I checked in with my laptop bag only. Next day evening, returning from customer to my room, my few personal belongings I've left in the rooms have been gone. I'm not telling I've been robbed, but it's fact only my cell phone charging cable showed up, whereas a gift box with expensive Champagne truffles is still missing - and all I've got in the end was an email telling me "sorry, we haven't found it, any further queries?". Seriously? Breakfast area is hostel style rather than what was expected, breakfast selection is small, too, no ham, fish, cheese, fruits or similar, orange juice stretched with water... For the same price one can stay with far better breakfast in other hotels. Will advise our travel dept. to never book this again. Without this discomfort of vanishing stuff this could have been a better rating, but personal belongings going missing is simply unacceptable. A truffles box today, a smart watch tomorrow?

Staff are fantastic - all extremely helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Big wardrobe area with enough room to keep cases out of the way and safe included. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and roomy. Noise from next door bar was initially a concern but when we closed the window could not hear anything. Central location in main shopping area with bus stop right outside the door, tram out the front and ticket office across the road to purchase visitor Leap card. Food was great, had breakfast both mornings and selection was good with option of takeaway cups for coffee on the go. Great value hotel too considering how pricey Dublin hotels are.

Very good helpful stuff, breakfast could’ve been better but ok. The room was clean and very comfortable. What I didn’t like was the noise from outside- there’s located some bar or nightclub and unfortunately it was right under my window. Also the hotel is kinda pricey. I liked the location tho, and I’d recommend to stay here

The hotel is spotlessly clean and bright. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it to help yourself to, or to takeaway if you wanted to. The room was neat and trendy and had all we needed. I loved the choice of firm of soft pillows. 👌👌

Staying a night with my dad on Christmas Eve, supposed to get the double bed room, I requested to two single beds room. And the reception arrange it for me without any extra charges. Very good service and friendly. I definitely will be back again. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast not bad too.

This hotel is right in the center of Dublin with bus access across the street! The staff were so friendly & attentive & also tended the bar. It's so clean & quiet besides the city traffic. Also ladies they offer the best adjustable massaging shower head , I will be booking again just because of this!! KUDOS HOLIDAY INN, it was just what this single exhausted girl who was traveling solo needed!!!

The attitude from baristas stinks u say extra hot at the counter they don't listen she doesn't tell him yes that customer said extra hot. They're more obsessed with the covid cert than making sure ure happy with the coffee. I was waiting ages first time it was cold then I'd to hand it back up. He was like you should've said that's when I got angry he gets it wrong but shifts the blame onto me. Breakfast bap was just ok. No salt in the bowl or on the table. No way friendly not a relaxing place I went in here before I had hassle from ye same again stupidly enough I gave you another Chance. Never again. Only reason I went in here because lot of places were closed on st Stephens day pity you wouldn't stay closed permanently. What you should say to someone is everything ok for u sorry about that sorry for the delay that kind of thing but I guess you will never know what that is.

Overall was very pleased with my two nights stay at this hotel. Location is lovely, right near most attractions with plenty of pubs and restaurants close. The room I was given had a nice view of the city, but also has double glass and was quiet, I was rarely able to hear any outside noise. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The continental breakfast was standard, nothing to get excited about but does the job with a number of vegetarian options, including oatmeal, fruit, pastries, etc. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accomodating. I would very easily choose to stay here again should I return to Dublin.

Nice hotel. The room we got was clean and with enough space for å small family. Windows towards the street was not a big issue, as they are sound isolated. Located in walking distance from «everything». The breakfast is good and fuels you up for a long day in this great city! I can reccommend this hotel! Taxi from the airport to the hotel is about €20.

These Holiday Inn -hotels are sound choices but somewhat dull. Their Dublin City Centre -hotel is of good quality with no major flaws. There could have been more wall hooks and shelves in the room. Shower’s water flow was poor. Long walks in the corridors. It took 90-100 steps from the elevator to the room. Breakfast was included. It was OK, can be crowded plus cheese and vegetables like tomato were missed. But all in all, we liked our stay. The location is excellent.

Wonderful hotel in center of Dublin. I stayed here 4 nights in April 2022 and very happy with the stay. The staff was welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was large, quiet, and super clean. The location is amazing, you walk to the front door and you are in the middle of all actions. Walking to Trinity College, Temple Bar, or Grafton Street was 10 minutes walk. Tips, from Dublin Airport, take AirCoach Bus 700 and get off at second stop near the Spire. The hotel is on your LEFT hand side when you get off the bus. Love this hotel and highly recommended.

Super well located hotel in the right at the City Centre of Dublin :) Staff is super friendly, nice, knowledgeable and was so helpful! Breakfast was great!!! the room was just the perfect size! if you are looking for a not super fancy, easy access, good located and welcoming hotel in Dublin, Holiday Inn Express is the perfect one for you! A big shout out for Muhamad and Ana, you guys were great during our stay :) Note: If you are a vegetarian, they offer veggie sausages upon request in the morning breakfast. And if you have a tour before breakfast hours, they also offer breakfast takes out upon request.

As soon as we arrived the staff at the reception desk welcomed us. Check-in was quick and easy. We had a lovely room on the 6th floor. The lifts were quick and easy to call. Our room was spacious and very clean. Dove soap and shower gel/shampoo were provided. Plenty of towels and toilet paper too. The triple glazing made the room very quiet. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Some of the best Irish Pork sausages I have ever eaten; beautiful bacon and scrambled eggs too! The location is brilliant: Dublin is a compact city so lots of things are within walking distance. A Link Card can be purchased at the Dublin Bis Offices opposite the hotel. This gives you use of the city's trans, buses and trains. The taxi fare from Dublin Airport to this hotel was 20 Euros. We loved staying at this new and beautifully presented hotel; we plan to stay again in August.

Just got back from long awaited trip to the city, this holiday Inn express was truly the icing on the cake for our stay. From checking in, the service we received at all levels, was top notch. Staff welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly yet highly professional, nothing was too much to ask. Spacious well planned, clean, tidy room, right on the main road, but amazingly quiet for sleeping, the only noises we heard occasionally from other guests passing in the corridor, but you expect that in any hotel. Had no trouble sleeping, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet offered good choices, was generous, tasty and well presented, in a clean comfortable relaxing area, even when busy, you didn't feel crowded or rushed. Probably one if the top 3 express hotels we have stayed in worldwide, perfect for the longer break. Huge thank you to all staff. Regards VT
