It is usually crowded. For me Ilac means the city center. From here you have access to Henry street one of the most crowded streets in dublin. From other side Dominic luas station. In it there are many shops including Dunnes. You will see TKmaxx here. Wonderful prices. Dealz is with great offers. Travel agencies. And many others.

Can't beat a stroll down the owl iconic Moore street on the way to ilac, just a crying shame how much of its heritage it's lost over the last number of years but still has some of the same wonderful street dealers there, always friendly.

One of the few malls in city centre. Connected with a market street and a main shopping street. Has a supermarket and all those essentials, clothes, small household appliances, etc. No luxury brands. For computer and electronics, you can go to a nearby Jarvis shopping mall. The best thing about this place is the public library upstairs. It's open for everyone.

Not the best of shopping centers in Dublin, but it’s slowly improving - the Dunnes Food Hall is a great addition. It’s a small shopping center. A lot of people here not bothering wearing masks, but the security don’t seem to care.

It is in fact a shopping centre. Debenhams shutting, how that was carried out and it being vacant put a downer on the place, but it's surprising how well it has sprung back from all the lock down stuff.

The Dunnes Stores food hall is fantastic. An amazing array of food and drinks ready to take away no cooking required. There is also the option to eat there which looked very tidy and clean. I will definitely call again. The people I had the food with also thought it was excellent. Well done on choice, flavour, premises and location which is very convenient and accessible

I loved this little shopping centre!! The food store had the best scones and donuts!! Their breakfast roll is so delicious!! Very affordable!!! Reply: well I'm from South Africa and I'm already missing your store!! Especially the food!! 🤤

Listen, anyplace that's indoors and sheltered is a good thing in Ireland. That aside, it has a great selection of shops, lots of eateries and places to rest yourself. It occasionally feels unsafe because of the people around, so mind your valuables & be alert (as you would in all big cities). Enjoy the ambience & take the Henry St exit, otherwise you're in the Wild West.

The shops are not abd, but the lack of seating is abysmal. Sure, they don't want ~undesirable!~ people hanging around but ju disabled asks would have alleviated jot having had to sit on the floor.

Public toilets available. Zara clothes and dunnes store is here. Macdonald, shake dog and berger king is here for junk food lovers. Many other clothes stores and sports shop available. Avoid shake dog cause their food quality is very worst. Parking available somewhere but need to pay. Lovely place to hang out.

Easy to navigate. Lots of walking space that prevents bumping into people. Easy and quick access to roads in case you need a taxi or get to you car. Mall has all the everyday stores that you need as an individual or family. Close to city centre and prominent areas like the docklands.

Good range of shops from big retailers to smaller stores. Price range to suit all. Spotlessly clean, felt very safe and well managed. 😍🙏🍭☕ Be back soon. Great variety of places to eat and drink. Can understand why no seats for customers in centre to sit and watch world go by with Covid, can this be looked at by management, individual seating now most people vaccinated. Walked through door to outside, people everywhere trying to eat takeaway food outside empty shop and birds/ pigeons/ seagulls mopping up dropped food. 🥵 Little bit off putting. Otherwise be back soon 😍

Not Dublin’s best shopping centre. Some shops are excellent, especially the eateries, though others are not great. 2 of 4 lifts to the car park are broken, creating long queues on the ground floor. Parking is very expensive compared to other car parks. €11.50 for 1 and a half hours of parking. Would suggest using a Luas park and ride

Located in the city centre this shopping mall has a lot of stores ranging from food outlets like mc Donald's, starbucks, boba tea, burger joints and Chinese/thai outlet. There is Boots pharmacy, dunnes stores, clothing stores like t k max, dunnes, Liverpool fc, etc. And shops for electronics, holiday bookings, birthday items, decorative items, perfumes, etc. It also has a restroom.

The Ilac Centre, located in the heart of Dublin's city center, offers convenience and accessibility but falls short in various aspects. While it provides access to the essentials, the limited number of shops may leave shoppers wanting more variety and choices. One of its redeeming qualities is its prime location in the city center, making it easily accessible for visitors and locals alike. The proximity to public transportation and other attractions in Dublin is undoubtedly an advantage. However, it's evident that the Ilac Centre is in need of revitalization. The physical condition of the shopping center and its surroundings requires attention. Aesthetic improvements and cleanliness are areas that could significantly enhance the overall experience for shoppers. In summary, the Ilac Centre may suffice for basic shopping needs and its central location, but it falls short of delivering a vibrant and satisfying shopping experience due to its limited shop selection and the need for refurbishment and cleanliness improvements.

ILAC shopping centre is old but very convenient. You can find a mix of different types of shops there. But there are very limited sitting benches there and all of them are usually busy. Also it could be better if management of ILAC shopping centre to organise some art exhibitions there. I have seen this type of exhibition in other countries shopping centres. Ireland is a reach for talented people. The ILAC shopping centre has a lot of foreign tourists. This exhibition could be a great event.

One of the most hated on shopping centres in Dublin, but I think it’s great. Has a wide variety of shops and a library that nobody talks about. Love the customers base, very diverse.

As a local I visit the ilac centre most days and I've never had a bad experience, but unfortunately yesterday 2/12/22 I chose to dine with my son in shake dog, the food was appoling, myself and my son have been sick ever since we dined there,I will not be recommending shake dog to anybody, frozen greasy food cooked at its worst, ilac management need to check the hygiene in the kitchen of this place,I will be contacting the HSE in regards to the kitchen hygiene.

Love Dunnes, love the two in the Ilac, from the clothing department, to the homeware, groceries the little cake cafe and the foodhall, you just know you're getting good fresh food or good quality stuff.

  • 4/5 Sasha B. 11 months ago on Google
It's a nice place to be, they have big toilets if you need them, and you can change your baby too (just ask for the key to the personal). Also, the public library is here, restaurants, a supermarket, and plenty of shops so if you need anything (from shoes, paper, to duplicate a key) you can do it here (even print or photocopy something!!). Also, is a good way to connect between streets, and there's plenty of bus stop near by, and also the Luas.

The bustling shopping center The Ilac Centre in Dublin offers everything for every taste and price range. It provides convenience and accessibility to customers due to its strategic placement. There is something for everyone at the mall's diverse collection of shops, which includes both independent boutiques and well-known high-street names. The arrangement is simple to follow, and a lively energy permeates the space. The Ilac Centre offers a wide variety of food alternatives, from fast snacks to sit-down eateries, in addition to its substantial shopping possibilities. In addition to hosting events and exhibitions, the center has a vibrant appeal. The Ilac Centre offers both tourists and locals a complete shopping experience with its combination of retail, food, and entertainment.

If you don't know where to go for all at one place shopping in city here's your answer. You can find tones of different shops inside this shopping center and trust me when i say they have it all with options for your shopping cart from different stores. It also has a library in there if you ever visit one .

"Llac Shopping Centre in Dublin is a hidden gem for shoppers. With a diverse range of stores, it offers something for everyone. The clean and well-maintained environment creates a pleasant shopping experience. The variety of shops includes fashion boutiques, electronics stores, and specialty shops, making it easy to find what you need. The friendly and helpful staff at many of these stores add to the positive atmosphere. Parking is convenient, and the mall's central location makes it accessible from various parts of the city. The food court features a mix of cuisines, ensuring you can refuel during your shopping spree. While it may not be as large as some other malls, Llac Shopping Centre has a cozy feel that sets it apart. Whether you're looking for the latest fashion trends or everyday essentials, this mall has you covered. It's a great place to spend a day shopping in Dublin."

This centre has been doing better recently since Dunnes revamped their food offering (now the best in the North city). There’s a decent mix of things to buy and do and eat in the centre. Argos will be a loss since they closed but the centre is not suffering too badly from the closure of Debenhams.

Built over a warren of smaller streets, the ILAC centre was one of the first American Style shopping malls in Ireland. It has had a facelift or two since it opened back in the early eighties. The original plan had storage/market-stall bays for the Moore Street traders but these are largely filled with phone and gadget shops now. The centre has seen a lot of changes in this part of the city but it will survive where Little Denmark Street is all but forgotten and the Moore Street traders will be forgotten soon after that.

If you're a visitor to Dublin, and you want to see Henry Street, by all means take a visit. If you're Irish, No words. It's grand or it's blah, depending on what you're looking for. It's not offensive. It's not hug you place either.

The Illiac Centre is still there, although the golden glass lifts to the car park are gone. This mall was open long before malls like Jervis Street were. I get the feeling that a lot of locals shop here. It has a lot of big name retailers like Dunnes, etc and coffee shop, Mc Donald's and Ginseng. You can enter / exit via Jervis st., Parnell St and Moore Street.

This is the first mall i visited when i came to Dublin back in 2019. This was a goto place for shopping for me. I got everything what i wanted here except junkies attention on the street. This mall has everything to attracts consumers. This is well maintained mall with wash rooms. Recently they got new restaurants and new selections. This is a blessing for city center.

The Ilac Shopping Centre is a nice clean and friendly place. The shops within the Centre Vary from Groceries to Clothing to Gagdets to Everyday Housing Items and Many More. The Security Guards are very Helpful and friendly and the Opening Hours for Each Shop Varies. But all in all, given the Variety of Shops. The Ilac Shopping Centre is a good Shopping Centre. For me it's a 09/10 🤗

I have visited the Ilac regularly since it was opened to the public decades ago. When I'm in a rush to buy a competitive priced product such as a pair of jeans or shoes the Ilac is my go/ default shopping centre. I have rarely if ever been let down when using them to literally panic buy clothes etc. I also bought my SKY Home Broadband at a stand in the Ilac and our Broadband significantly got better.

When I heard GTA had outbid Watchdogs to base their next game installment in the Ilac, I wasn't really surprised. 28 Years Later has first dibs for filming there, during opening hours too. As shifty as it gets, this place never ceases to amaze. Well worth a visit, if only to wonder at the existence of a library in such a place.

Good range, good prices and surrounded by alot of shops. The vibe is good and Christmassy at this point. The prices are very competitive and the stores have multiple floors with products to satisfy customer demands.

  • 4/5 John K. 1 year ago on Google
I was around when the Ilac Centre was opened in 1981and I have to say they have continued to keep the centre relevant under extreme competitive conditions for over 40 years. Management and staff deserve acknowledgement for their efforts in maintaining their customer base.

Great selection of books including second hands. However in Dublin is very rare to find a concept of a bookstore which transcend just a sales place, with chairs, sofas and cafe, where you can sit, meet, read and recharge. Buy and go style. Once you visited bookstores in Europe and Asia, this just gives you an impression of Ireland in deep crises.

  • 3/5 Kevin K. 1 year ago on Google
30th July Good to see you have now provided some seating (a sofa and two stools). Hopefully it's just a start as they are very popular and often fully occupied. No seating provided for people waiting while their partners shop, don't think about sitting on the floor or a "mall cop" will be exercising his authority. Revisited today (09 July 2022) and still no seating provided.

Very clean and kept maintained in all times, as every shopping centre have good options of stores, the pretzel stand is one of the best in the city. And the juice bar next to dunnes won't disappoint you unless it will be closed, that's the only disappointment that may be caused by your visit. The only thing that disappointed in general in opening hours shopping centre in Ireland are closed super early while visiting many places seeing stores and shopping centres close at late as 9-10 pm but I can only figure it's culture related

Love the Ilac, so clean and light and modern, real transformation in recent years. There’s a lot of choice for shopping and eating. My favourite is TK Maxx and Starbucks but find the Boots and Dunnes there very handy.

The ilac shopping centre is very good the only issue I have with it is there is no seats to sit on if you're waiting on someone that's in the shop I have a disability and yesterday I was in the shopping centre with my mum and dad and my mum went into boots and I could not sit anywhere it's very bad in that way there should be seats in the centre areas for people who are waiting on someone or just to sit for a few minutes and catch their breath.

  • 3/5 Jay K. 2 years ago on Google
ILAC is always tricky, great selection of shops, but the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end with the type of characers that are in there, mostly coming in from the Parnell street end, IMO that should be closed so you have to use the Henry St or Mary St entrance/exit, I would suggest using those doorways absolutely and avoid the Parnell St one totally, dont believe me, try all of them and see what I mean, go in Parnell St and come out Henry St and see the difference, and feeling of safety Shopping options ***** ... feeling of Safety (Parnell Side) ** .. feeling of Safety (Mary St side) *** feeling of safety (Henry St side) ****

  • 4/5 Ade 2 years ago on Google
It's fine if a little bare. Just the lack of Debenhams makes the place seem like it certainly missing a huge drawing point to it, and I am unsure anyone would occupy the massive 4 floor unit any time soon.

Plenty of shops and public restroom is free. The place has been renovated since last time I was there and inside is now much nicer. They used to be a charge to use the toilets which was irritating especially if you did not have with you cash money which a lot of people don't carry anymore. The library upstairs was always great to be able to sit down inside for a few minutes but unsure if you can anymore. Overall it's a good place to go shopping with Dunnes, TK Maxx and plenty of retail shops to choose from
