We did the 3-pub Dublin tour last month for my daughter's 21st birthday. Shane was a wonderful guide and made the event special for us all. This was a fun, festive and personal way to experience Dublin life. Truly it was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.

The BEST tour ever. Shane is GREAT and this tour I highly recommend it. You go to different pubs in the mountain, the atmosphere is amazing, the people is just wonderful. I have done this tour 3 times already because everytime someone comes to visit, I say the best way to see real Ireland is with this tour. You won't regret it. The best tour ever!! Shane was so much fun , very knowledgeable and such a great guy., He was punctual and took us to several pubs in the beautiful Wicklow mountains and Glendalough , we also had a great group in the tour .The food at Glenmalure lodge was excellent ,we were able to see the sheep and lambs, listen to traditional music . We were in Ireland for 2 weeks and did many different things and this tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely do it again, highly recommend!

On a whim, and because the weather was looking dodgy - hubby and I booked this pub crawl tour ! Best decision EVER !! This was hands down one of the best excursion / tours we have done in all of our travels Not only is Shane the most incredible guide - knowledgeable, funny, caring , great singer …we had the best group and made many new friends that I know we will keep in touch with The pubs were all great - my favs were the first - Cartoon Pub and the final - Blue Light pub Do not hesitate , book this trip - you will be glad you did ☘️☘️☘️🍻🍻🍻

Highly recommend this very fun pub crawl tour with Shane! I'm not usually a tour person but this is a small tour and it's so fun to get to know the other people. Shane is kind and funny and knowledgeable. I loved meeting the locals and being introduced to Irish culture this way.

Was a great night visiting three pubs. Loved hearing about the pubs, beers, whiskeys etc... and the historical context. Shane was a great guide and storyteller. The music at Johnnie Fox's pub was magical. Great group of people on the tour as well. I highly recommend.

Our pub day with Shane was fabulous! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and intro to the Irish pub culture and countryside. Shane made everyone feel safe and welcomed, and his jokes + driving skills were impressive LOL. He taught us traditional Irish songs that we’ve been hearing and singing long after the tour, and he took excellent care of us the whole day. We are so glad we booked this tour and would recommend it to anyone who’s thinking about it! SO MUCH CRAIC!!!

Absolutely amazing! A must do if you’re in Dublin and enjoy exploring local pubs and culture! Shane was brilliant and made us all feel comfortable and included (had some cracking humour too!). We will be doing this again when we’re back next!

We had a wonderful time on this tour of rural pubs South of Dublin, Ireland. We were well taken care of by our guide, Shane. His in-depth knowledge of the pubs and the area (ask him which pub pours the best pint of Guinness), his humor and his professionalism made this a great experience. We met the van in the center of Dublin, and were quickly on our way to the first of six pubs. Each pub had its own character, and the local people were friendly. Shane introduces each pub, including their history and any local brews that are available. The last pub had a great group of musicians and they encouraged us to sing along for the last song before we got back in the van. This was the highlight of our visit to Dublin and I would not hesitate to book again.

This was the highlight of my trip, thanks to the fun people we were with in the bus and also thanks to the amazing guide Shane that we had the immense luck to have with us to tour us around 6 pubs south of Dublin - What started with a shy crowd in the bus soon turned into a really fun ride and tour as people were getting tipsier, and Shane knew exactly where to take us so we enjoyed it to the max! I toured on a Saturday and the last pub we did had live music playing (in Bray) and with the number of Guinness everyone had in, it was so much fun!!! Thank you Shane, only regret I have is not taking the names of these people that I had so much fun with!

I can't recommend a pub tour with Shane enough. We had a great time with awesome music, beer, and company. Shane will keep you entertained throughout the tour. The regulars in the pubs loved to engage in conversation. Definitely try some of the local brews.

One of the best tours ever in Dublin! We had an amazing evening, lots of fun, superb beers and our guide Shane was really great, telling us all kind of interesting things about almost everything, you can tell he loves his job. Definetly a must do tour, hope we'll go back soon and try the 6 pubs tour next time!

We LOVED this tour. It was so fun and Shane was very helpful in terms of helping us pick local craft beer. The traditional Irish music that we heard was amazing and the pubs we went to were delightful. Huge fan of this tour.

We took our visiting friend on this excellent tour yesterday and we all had a blast. Shane is such a great guide, very engaging and making sure everyone is having a good time. We enjoyed his stories and songs while on the road, and after the first pub everybody on the tour becomes a friend 😆. Definitely do this if you're looking for a fun day out of Dublin!

I can't recommend this tour enough. Probably one of the most memorable and biggest highlights of our honeymoon. Our tour guide, Shane, is a huge part of what makes the tour so great. He was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. He even went out of his way to email me after the tour to make sure that I had the information I asked about advice for buying a gift for my father!

My brother booked a tour for my Stag for me and 12 of my close mates. I wholeheartedly can say this was one of the most memorable tours I’ve ever experienced. Shane was an absolute pleasure and he catered to all guest’s needs. I myself am not a drinker, so he went out of his way to make sure I was accommodated on the tour. From teaching us popular Irish songs to giving us a little bit of history and showing us the beautiful sights Ireland has to offer, Shane is one of a kind and really cares about his guests. Such a fantastic experience! Shane is really what makes the tour so great. He is a very fun, kind, and knowledgeable guy. We made a number of stops at, you guessed it, rural pubs in the Wicklow Mountains region. The pubs are your classic example of local village boozers. Some are busier than others- most have an innumerable amount of character. And the Guinness is pouring steady at all. As it goes with any kind of tour, you’ll have more fun if you approach it with an open attitude. This tour has the added benefit of loosening your inhibitions almost immediately. This was a great way to get out of the city, learn about the local culture, and drinking culture, and meet locals. I couldn’t recommend this enough!

Travelling with my mum and sister can mean that it is difficult at times to find an activity that all three of us will enjoy. It’s safe to say the Rural Pub Tour Dublin was definitely one of those exceptional activities that each of us equally enjoyed!! We had a fantastic evening and I would have to say it was one of our favourite activities from our entire trip. Pubs in Dublin city Centre are also great but you just couldn’t beat the ambience and atmosphere of the three rural pubs we went to. Shane was a fantastic tour leader and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our night. Shane has incredible knowledge about alcoholic choices in Dublin and provided great recommendations for us at each of the pubs. Shane also had detailed knowledge about the history of each pub and shared interesting facts and stories about Ireland throughout the night. It was an extremely well organised tour. My only disappointment was the night went too fast and before I knew it, it was midnight and the night was over! I would highly recommend anyone going on this tour if you are travelling to Dublin.

We did the Sunday afternoon pub tour and it was, without question, the highlight of our trip to Dublin. Shane was a funny, informative and patient guide who had reserved seating for our tour at The Merry Ploughboy and Johnnie Fox’s and then encouraged us to mingle with the locals (which we all most certainly did) at The Blue Light. In between stops, Shane would regale us with stories, give us beer and cider recommendations for each spot while telling us the history of each pub and the area, and by the end of the tour, had us singing an Irish song as we made our way back to the city! Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this is definitely a trip worth doing... and I shall be recommending it to anyone visiting Dublin — as well as hoping to one day do it again. Thank you Shane for a wonderful and memorable afternoon!

November 6 we did this pub tour with seven friends. Our guide Shane is really top of enthusiasm. Knows so many stories to tell with humour. We had a top day. Thanks Shane, little man, you are great!

Fun trip with a very nice driver and guide. We traveled out of season so the atmosphere is probably even better when there are more people in the pubs. We would love to come back!
