Facilities in my 4 bed room were good (bathroom etc) as well as the common areas and breakfast. Despite this, my stay here was probably the worst I have ever experienced at a hostel. I have stayed at a number of hostels in different countries and I have never experienced something like this. On my first day, a jacket went missing from my room - a 4-bed I was sharing with my sister and two other people. Despite following this up multiple times with the Manager (I believe his name is Joao) the situation was never clarified (and my jacket never appeared) but at the time it went missing nobody was in the room. You needed a card to get in so it shocked me when this happened. When I went to the staff about this, the response from management was disgraceful, they offered absolutely no help at all and I was not treated well (I would like to point out that this does not extend to all staff, some of them were more understanding but management was not). For the remainder of my stay, in addition to having to feel overly preoccupied about my belongings, I had to put up with some really unfriendly attitudes from the staff (again, some of them, not everybody). I was particularly surprised that after being quite understanding with the hostel who said they needed time to look into the situation, we ended up checking out with no contact whatsoever from them with a final answer. So I strongly DO NOT recommend this place, it's a shame.

Wouldn't recommend it.. beds are super uncomfortable (I could feel every coil and spring) and creaky. The place seems clean but could use more upkeep. You have to pay through the nose for towel hire and laundry services. There are no lockers or way to lock up your stuff except to pay for a locker which is a daily fee. Pleasant staff however so that's a plus.

Creative setup. Friendly staff. Great location to simply walk around the corner and start exploring a great part of the city. I only gave 3 stars though, because it is from this hostel that I unfortunately picked up a case of head lice 😞 Sometimes that is not their fault. Overall, you should stay here.

I stayed here while backpacking Europe. This was my first time staying in a hostel and I could not have been more happy. Everyone was very friendly and inclusive. People cooked together and on Friday (?) They had free beer. I met some awesome friends here as I was traveling alone and they were my companions for the rest of my stay in Dublin. I could not have been more happy. This was my home away from home. The location was also excellent as it was located right by the spire so I never lost my bearings in the city. Will definitely stay here again.

Cool staff. Once your clean it's for you, otherwise no. Its drug free n the staff are sound. Will do whatever they can, if they can do it for you n go out of there ways to do anything to help you. Enjoy n be good. Merry Christmas. Lubs n Cuddles Jac xxx 😀😀💙💙💙💙

Kip would not recommend full of drug addicts and ladies if the night no ul find cheaper and much safer ABT pls stay away for Ur own sanity

Staff was super nice and the location was perfect. I had to email them before I arrived because my itinerary changed a few times and they were very helpful and flexible. Check-in is 24 hours/day and you can take the airport aircoach 700 to and from here for only €7. The female rooms were fine, but the bathroom could use a little updating. All in all, an affordable place to crash and nearby lots of things to check out.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. People aren’t really talkative here. Good location. However, no lockers in rooms. You have to rent.

The breakfast is a little less then expected. A little meat and cheese would be nice, but peanut butter and jelly worked for the two days I've spent here. The beds are in order as well as the bathroom. The common areas are also very well equipped.

You cannot beat the location. Right where you want to be. They are very accommodating and there are multiple common areas inside and out that gives you plenty of opportunity to meet other travelers. The rooms are what you would expect in a hostel, nothing more nothing less. Overall a good experience.

Spire hostel is clean, conviently located and one of the better hostels I've stayed in. There are girls only rooms available (and restrooms), you can rent towels and there is a great kitchen open for use. Also, on Saturdays they do a great beer/pub crawl social!

One of the nicest hostels in town. The staff is amazing and everything was clean and tidy. Private rooms are very nice and spacious, but I will say that with the street traffic just outside the window it can be hard to get to sleep, especially if there's a soccer match that day.

The breakfast is really great for a hostel and the people working here are very friendly. In top of that we came a few hours too early to check in, but could stay there and watch a movie or play PlayStation. It's really clean and only guests are able to enter the building.

If I could give 0 I would what a place cannot get trough to this place what do ever don’t no what staff are doing 5 staff and can’t pick up a phone? People are obviously treated like animals, even in a family emergency you have to go to the place terrible don’t understand why you can’t pick you phone up four staff for what? Terrible place
