๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Fantastic value. Beautiful campus and nice rooms. The location is very near all the big attractions. Everything was very clean. Students at the help desk were very friendly and gave some great recommendations on places to eat. People often mention room, location, rooms, kitchen,

Definitely preferred my stay here over staying at a hotel. The room was basic but adequate with wooden shutters to shut out noise and light. Sharing the bathroom and toilet with two other rooms was not a problem and I never had to wait. Having access to a full kitchen including a kettle, microwave, fridge, and freezer, with coffee and tea provided, was a godsend, and the kitchen had a nice common area with a table, seating, and a view of the college courtyard. Most pleasant. My main complaint is the noise the doors make when they slam shut!

The new accommodations in Printing House Square could be perfect if not for some unforgivable flaws. The windows have cables on them that don't allow them to be opened for adequate ventilation, something necessary due to no air conditioning. For most of the stay, the temperatures were so unbearably hot most of us staying in them reported not being able to sleep. In addition, the lights in the bathrooms are controlled by motion detectors above the door and away from the shower. The lights would go off while taking a shower, and the only way to turn them back on would be to get out of the shower and open the door to the bathroom. From an architectural perspective, these buildings are spectacular. From a functional perspective, the accommodations are some of the worst in which I've stayed. The difficulties are compounded by the fact that the staffing is done by college students. While they were very courteous and did what they could, it was clear they did not have the authority to make some of the necessary decisions to improve our experience.

Donโ€™t waste your money - it is a great central area. But, there is no air-con & you cannot open the window more than about 4 inches. It feels like a sauna I live with no AC, but not being able to open the window is rough! The front desk offered me a fan, so I walked down there & then was asked for my ID. I didnโ€™t carry my ID - because I just emailed them & I had my reservation card with my name on it that they told me I must carry at all times - & told me to go back to grab it. Itโ€™s not worth it. 0/10 - would not recommend to a friend because of this.

Its main quality is the location: right in the city centre. Some might find interesting to sleep in the famous Trinity College, but then you realise that itโ€™s just like all the university accommodations for students: a place where you donโ€™t want to come back once your university years are over. The room is very basic and spartan, nothing to write home about. The furniture is old and the facilities are much better in a hotel. The young people at the reception are nice and friendly. Leaving your stuff at the cloakroom is not very comfortable and not free after the check-out.

I was able to check in relatively quickly and the girl who helped me was very nice. I had trouble with my room key and they sent someone from the office to my room with a new key. After several keys didn't work, they had a maintenance guy come out and fix my door.

The office people are awesome - friendly and personable and ready to help. The accommodation is good and the shared kitchen is useful. There is no way to close room, kitchen, or building doors quietly, and they make a huge echoing noise that does interfere with sleeping.

I am staying in Goldsmith Hall right next to the TCD Campus in a student room...all the basics one needs. The reseption staff is superhelpful and always friendly and patient. Looking forward to my three weeks on campus!

Loads of history here. Great accommodations in walking distance to everything. A wonderful experience.

In summer, Trinity College offers tourist accommodation in single rooms (ensuite or shared bathroom) or double rooms. The cancellation policy is generous, allowing for cancellation on short notice (24 hrs, if I am not mistaken, but make sure to verify this). It offers luggage storage, which is free the day you check-in/out with a voucher from the accommodations office, otherwise it costs a few euros. Upon request, the efficient and helpful Laura Fitzgibbon gave me a single room with ensuite bathroom on the 3rd floor, so it was quiet. There was a kitchenette on the same floor, and a big kitchen one the floor below. The doors had secure locks. The room was basic, but well-appointed: besides the narrow and tall single bed, there was a seating area with 2 comfy chairs and coffee table, a desk, chair and reading lamp, and lots of storage space. Everything was very clean. On campus there are several cafes with what seemed reasonable fare, but I didn't use them myself, as there are plenty of options elsewhere. When you check in, you'll get several pamphlets with important information, such as the location and opening times of various gates around the campus. This information can save you a lot of walking! IMO, this is the best value for Dublin accommodation, especially in summer when hotel prices skyrocket.

Private dorm room in the heart of Dublin. Best location for anything.

Great location, but isn't run very well... took 24 hours to find the kitchen... one sign would have helped... staff not particularly helpful... there was a lift to my accom but no-one told me about it etc etc

We had two lovely stays at Trinity College. Before we travelled to Galway and once we came 'home' to Dublin. The rooms were clean and bright, but the highlight was the helpful staff. In particular my sisters and I appreciated Tom's help carrying our suitcases up the stairs, and the fact that Tom said "Welcome Home" when we came in from Canada. We ate at 'the Buttery', the college cafeteria. Good food and coffee without having to walk more than a few steps in the morning. Staff also gave good suggestions on pubs--food and music--which was appreciated. It was quite a treat to be so close to everything in the centre of Ireland.

A good affordable option in the middle of Dublin. Donโ€™t expect luxury, but itโ€™s hard to beat the location/price. Also, youโ€™re steps away from the Book of Kells.

Excellent city centre accommodation at excellent prices. Feeling safe and staying in Trinty a plus. It is student accommodation go pay 400 in one of the hotels for the same sleep.

Terrific place to stay, so clean and tidy and you're in the middle of Dublin. We also arranged a car space for our stay. Will definately come back again. Lot of stairs if you're on the top floor.

Very friendly and helpful. The price for a room is reasonable. We are glad we were able to to stay here

Highly recommend the accomodation. There are many different locations on the campus you could be at but check-in staff explain where to find everything. Easy to get to by bus, and plenty of shops around. Trinity college itself is a tourist attraction. Room was exactly as described. Very pleased.
