Lovely venue for brunch. Good food. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Lovely ambiance. Lots of little rooms running into each other. Bright and airy. Lovely decor. Nice place to sit over a cappucino or a big pot of tea or even to read the paper on a Sunday afternoon. There's a full bar too. Service was quite slow, but wasn't a problem for us. I'd certainly go again....but the loos are atrocious.

Small and no soundproofing, can hear someone flicking a switch in the other room. Staff was really nice and the outdoor area is beautiful. Came back late and night porter was very welcoming and let us in, no problem Shower extremely small and there was damp spots on the ceiling

Chicken burger was amazing! We had it without a bun, and it was great. Fry sauce was super good too. Very cute, comfortable decor and ambience, and good service as well. It would be great to have more gluten-free options, but otherwise very happy!

Great place for a night out. The dj downstairs who comes on after the pianist is insanely good! Myself and my friends had the most amazing night thanks to him and the bar men too as they had so much energy and they were really friendly and funny.

House of Dublin has a classy vibe, blending modern and classic styles for a cozy feel. The food is diverse and delicious. The burrata is creamy, tacos are crunchy, and crab ravioli hits the spot. The cod is well-cooked, duck salad is refreshing, and roast chicken is flavorful. Don't miss out on the hearty sirloin. It's a great place for a tasty meal in a stylish setting.

This is a promising place with friendly staff and nice menu. Food was very good. Issue is when the food has been served - was difficult to get servers attention and table clearing was not completed with plates cutlery and glasses left on the table for a long period of time. Am sure over time the staff service skills will improve.

Such a great experience! We went there for Valentine’s celebration and it was the best choice of times! The place is gorgeous it brings us to a fairytale, amazing atmosphere. The service was impeccable: friendly, proactive and very helpful staff. The food was very tasty, explosion of flavours and texture. 10 out of 10! We can’t wait to be back.

Nice location. Inside looks great, like a living room. In the back very beautiful, kots of daylight, nice plants and decor. The service is very good, staff is always friendly. Quality and taste of the food is great. Drinks are ok. Definitely a place to try, recommended.

We had a lovely lunch here today. We sat in the conservatory which was a great setting. The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was my birthday and I was served a complimentary dessert as my cake. It was a lovely surprise. A great venue for lunch.

What a hidden gem! Amazing backyard garden, tastefully designed. The interior was fantastic too, great ambience. Food was β€œgood” overall, I felt the steak should have been from a better cut considering the price but was good. Amazing cocktails

Impossible not to give a 5-star review to this place. Their service is top notch and food is delicious! I’m vegetarian and their dishes are very creative and exquisite! It was also great to be served by such a kind and knowledgeable guy like Andy! Whoever hired him did an amazing job! I hate when I go to a restaurant and the waiter/waitress doesn’t care about the food and cannot give proper advice and Andy definitely knows what he’s doing!! The hostesses were also super kind! Thanks a million for the experience!

We booked meal for a large group of people as a surprise for a birthday. The staff at House were amazing to deal with and could not do enough to help make the night go great for all. They were quick to respond to any questions and requests and communication from them was excellent. On the night, the food was amazing and there was great reviews from all our party. I could not recommend highly enough and will definitely be back. My sincere thanks to Hollie and all the staff for helping us have an amazing night.

I hosted a surprise baby shower here for around 20 people. The setting was gorgeous as we were sat at a long table towards the back in the conservatory. The food was fantastic, catering for both vegan and coeliac guests. The balloons, flowers and personalized menus were all wonderful touches. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning on hosting a baby shower in the future. Huge kudos to the staff especially who went above and beyond to ensure all the guests were happy.

Unfortunately our stay in this hotel was rather unpleasant. We had requested a quiet room pre-arrival and when we arrived, we were given the key to room 25 on the 3rd floor. The hotel is a bit of a maze so it was tricky to find the room. When we found it, it was at the end of a corridor, outside the main room areas and right next to a very noisy alarm system which could be heard quite clearly from the room. Additionally there was visible dirt in the room. We called the reception to request a room change and the lone receptionist offered to investigate the issue. She came to the room to listen to noise and stated they never had a complaint before and said she would try to find another room. She came back later saying no other suitable room was available, and she could organise something for the next day. That same night as we were dreading going to sleep, we saw busloads of Google employees arriving for an office party. That party went on until after midnight adding to our noise trouble. The next morning after discussing the room change with another employee, we left the premises for 5 hours. Upon our return we were given keys to a new room on a higher floor for us to transfer ourselves into. Upon arrival into the new room we were surprised to notice it had not been cleaned and smelled horribly. We returned to the reception only to be told that we had been given the room keys only for us to move our luggage so our first room could be freed and cleaned. We inquired about where we should stay given that the second room was dirty and we were told to take a little walk. We did not think this was fair (to be paying for a room and not be able to occupy any) so we complained and were told we could stay in the first room until the second one was ready. When we asked when that might be the receptionist did not know. She could not prioritise cleaning our new room. It took 3 hours. Finally, this hotel turns out is also a full blown club at the weekend. With unacceptable noise levels for anyone wanting to rest (not even talking about sleeping). Really unless you are there to party until 4 am do yourself a favor and do not go there. It's clear that this place focuses way more on it's party business and has no interest in providing respite to travellers. They have no understanding of customer service and making guests happy does not seem to be their concern. Avoid when in Dublin.

the worst hotel in the world. until 02:30 in the morning with the music. You can not sleep. And no employee does anything to try to solve it. On the website they warn that on weekends this can happen. but not on a Thursday and a Wednesday. I recommend not staying at this hotel

My party of 4 ladies enjoyed a brilliant dinner in the back patio/garden area. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, and has a beautiful atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service by our waiter Slav was superb, I highly recommend requesting him for your next dinner out.

Don't forget to use Κœα΄α΄›α΄‡ΚŸΚ™oʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't regret it. Chicken burger was amazing! We had it without a bun, and it was great. Fry sauce was super good too. Very cute, comfortable decor and ambience, and good service as well. It would be great to have more gluten-free options, but otherwise very happy!

My room was good, the food was great. Service was top notch. If you want somewhere quiet, this place isn't for you. The hotel bar turns into a party every night. There is even a little club in the basement, super fun. The only thing I didn't like was the tables were reserved every night, so there wasn't anywhere to sit if you decided to stay at the last minute.

Incredible service and experience. There are so many things to praise: - First things first, Margaret has to be the nicest and most attentive person we have met. She made sure that we were fine at all moments. The rest of the staff were also very kind and respectful. - The location is really good and almost everything you need to visit is at 15-20 min walking. - The decoration is beautiful and the food was really good. - Rooms are nice and clean. Our bed was big and really comfortable. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. We will surely come back son.

Worst experience ever! We booked our table for 3 at 10:45am more than a week before. When we arrived at the venue, a staff asked us if we have a reservation. She said she's going to look into it then left and never came back. A different guy then came to us and ask us again if we have a reservation. Finally, he brought us to "the garden" and brought us to an unmade two tables with just 2 chairs in it. He turned on the heating then leaves without even fixing the other crooked chair. After a few minutes, another staff came with the utensils, menu, and a pitcher of water with no glasses asking us if it is our first time there. We said it is and she said "What? Do you guys know that this is a "Celebrity Place"? We said we dont care about celebrities, we just want our food then she left. And then came the rudest staff asking for our orders. I asked her if we can still wait for a few minutes because our other friend is still parking her car. She then said "just to let you know that the kitchen is closing at 11." So we placed our orders then she left. When she came back with our coffee, we asked her why are we thrown outside when clearly there are some tables inside. She then said "we're full and very busy. If you want you can sit on the bar." We asked her if she can turn off the heating as it was very hot and it was right above our table. She said are you sure? Then said ok i will turn off then left. Then our order came brought in by the staff who brought in the menu. She placed the plates on our table and the last one was just lazily placed in the middle of the two tables and said enjoy and left. When our friend arrived, we then we asked for the manager who came to us and explained that they had a lot of walk ins and it was their fault. He apologized and said that he will talk to the staff. When the two staff came back after at different times, they were very nice and all smiley. They gave us 3 cups of coffee as an apology. Food was good but NEVER EVER coming back here!

Great hotel! Fantastic location - easily reached to and from the airport via the 700 bus (stop is Embassy of MaltaπŸ‘πŸ»). Gorgeous interiors, lovely friendly staff, breakfast was delicious. Really great value for money. A friend and I shared a twin , it was cosy but perfectly formed. Everything we needed.Thoroughly recommend, would definitely go back . X

My partner and I recently got engaged and booked in for brunch to celebrate, just the two of us. Upon arrival, the staff were so friendly and congratulated us. They sent us down two glasses of prosecco on the house and sent us over a mince pie with a candle in it and 'happy engagement' written in chocolate. It was honestly such a lovely gesture and every staff member we dealt with was so welcoming and lovely. I ordered the vegan burger and it was delicious. We will definitely be back again!

Only went here for lunch as a Christmas party. The food was good but it may be too fancy for some. 8 euro extra charge for steak. I got the chicken but the steak looked decent! The mains were good. Starters a bit on the small side but I guess that's what a starter should be (not too big) so you are able for the rest of the meal. The decor is very old world chic style (a lot of pink and velvet). The lighting is low so some needed to use their phone cameras to see the menu (plus it was quite small print). We all got our drinks first. Then it wasn't long before the starters came. We had reserved so they must have had the food preped as we were not waiting long between courses. Plus another booking was after us so we wouldn't be able to hang about too long after finishing. Great as I hate it when you are waiting too long between courses. It can be awkward to keep conversation flowing unless you keep drinking! Overall I award 4 stars, just a mark off for the few flaws mentioned.

My wife and I had a lovely sunday roast at House while on our honeymoon. The garden seating is warm even on a cold day and well decorated. The food was delicious and more than reasonably priced. The kitchen even surprised us with complimentary mimosas and a chocolate fondant dessert (still drooling)!

Positive: - Location, 5 mins walking from Stephens Green as well as LUAS in Harcourt Street Needing improvement: - Building is old and in need of maintenance - Bedroom floor is uneven and carpeted - TV is not centered - No sofas or wardrobes in the room - Very cold on winter - Staff is not nice and often not in reception

The staff were really nice and couldnt accomodate us enough during check in, stay or check out, the bar and gin room have great welcoming decor and a relaxed vibe feel, the beds were very comfy, handy to bus stop (2 minute walk) camden street (10 minute walk) The only down side of my stay was the music from the bar/nightclub is so loud, iknow they warn you before hand but it does not prepare you for how loud it actually is, we got home around 1am and would literally think it was banging out in the corridor, it didnt bother me much as i am a fire engineer and ive had to train my brain to block out sounds, but my partner struggled to get to sleep she said it stopped close to 3am, could really do with sound proofing the rooms. I would consider staying again but maybe only if i was down for a party weekend!

It's like walking into a Tardis! Huge on the inside. Attended a birthday party in a reserved area of the venue. About 30 people. Nice and intimate. Good bar service. Not too dear for Dublin. We stumbled upon this place while staying nearby at the Number 31 hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating, our service was fantastic, and our cocktails were absolutely delicious. Our main server, Ann Marie, is simply one of the best servers we've ever had - charming, witty, attentive without being too attentive... just excellent. Our only regret is that we didn't get to eat there (we had already eaten lunch, and the restaurant was not open for dinner the day we were there). I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be back.

Nice to be back after Covid-19 lockdowns. Staff are super nice as usual. Food was gorgeous also. The atmosphere isn't just back yet to previous levels, but it's not a reflection of place or the people. Just need to wait for remaining restrictions to be lifted and it will be a spectacular spot once again.

While this place isn't a typical run of the mill hotel, it is an amazing boutique hotel and bar nonetheless. The rooms were perfect, and just a few minutes down the road is a handful of bus stops and taxi pickup locations. There are cafes and shops near the location if you need a quick bite. My favorite part of this place was how the bar was extremely accommodating. Being from the U.S., I am not old enough to drink at home, had no idea what to order, and so I started off with what was recommended: a Cosmopolitan. James (the bartender serving us) was very dedicated to making the drinks both delicious and pretty in appearance. Once I finished the Cosmo, I didn't know where to go from there and asked for him to surprise me. I got about six drinks deep before I had to stop despite wanting to try everything else he could think of. He was very attentive to detail and it was an awesome first drinking experience. All the workers were very kind, helpful, and patient. The next time I come to Dublin, I will be staying at this hotel once again.

The hotel and staff are lovely, but the experience is ruined by the basement level nightclub pumping loud music throughout the building til 4am. When we complained about the noise, management claimed we should have been informed about the club at check-in. We were not informed, but regardless, if this is a known issue they should inform guests during booking. That they choose to wait until someone has arrived and is unlikely to be able to make other arrangements shows how little they care about their guests.

Just home from a 2 night stay with friends and family at this lovely hotel and we were all sad to leave 😭 The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfortable. A huge thanks to all the staff, their customer service is second to none and nothing we asked for was too much trouble ( and we did ask .... a lot !😁). It's obvious the staff love working there and the food was excellent too so a big thumbs up to the chefs. Would choose this hotel over all the others in Dublin every time and looking forward to staying again.

We needed a room for the night to spend a couple of days in the city centre, right beside St Stephens Green, convenient for shopping and night life, we had our 8 year old daughter with us, and it was a Sunday night, we were delighted with this very cozy, bespoke room, clean and comfortable, TV and Netflix, lovely Bar/Restaurant, really relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly approachable staff, I could not find fault with this place and so reasonable for the 8th December, we would definitely stay here again. My daughter loved the sofa bed, we had a great night's sleep didn't hear a thing it was just so cozy.

Never has felt so tricked into a tourist trap. The place has a club in the same building and the music just doesn't allow you to sleep during the night. Really bad experience.

Food was fantastic. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is brilliant. We stayed the night in the hotel after our meal which made our visit to House a wonderful night. The staff are absolutely brilliant. They make you feel at home from the minute you enter the building. House is definitely worth a visit and because of the staff, this is one of the better places to visit.

Rating the restaurant: Food was decent, but uninspiring - it's not the reason I'm giving 5 stars though. So far I've always said that food is more important than service, but that's not the case here. The service was outstanding, super quick and attentive, friendly, and 100% Covid-compliant (I wish there was a separate rating for Covid-compliance on Google). In fact, it's the only place I've been to so far that has asked me for the Covid certificate AND my ID. The service, along with the awesome decoration inside, makes for a place I'd happily come back to!

Staff are an incredible asset to House. Very welcoming and engaging. Attention to detail in looking after customers was fantastic. The food was tasty, I had the lobster linguine. My main complaint was the portion sizes. Hefty prices for not so hefty portions. Sea bass fillet was more plate than fish. Peach melba was incredibly disappointing. If House can charge the prices you must back it up with great food. Not sure if House is there yet.

Fantastic experience from the moment you walk in the door, front of house staff were excellent and very polite. Bar staff were exceptional, we had Ann Marie as our waitress and she was superb from the moment we took our seats, she even went out of her way to order us a taxi after our meal. Food was second to none. Great night πŸ˜„

Such a gorgeous restaurant, perfect for groups of girls. The food was delicious, great choice on the menu. Thanks to John who looked after our group so well on the night, the service was excellent.

This place gets 4.4 rating because of its restaurant and bar but the hotel part is horrible. The corridors are dark and narrow, it smelled mouldy as well. For some rooms, you have to open doors after doors before you reach to your room. (room 25 for example). The room is dark and small, it doesn't even have a closet so you have to hang your clothings against the wall. The floor is uneven and the hotel doesn't provide slippers nor toothpaste.(One staff told me these items are "unusual items") If you need something, you probably need to use your own phone to call the receptionist because the phone in the room doesn't work. However since their receptionist only works from 10 to 18, don't bother even to call as you will reach no one. The worst part is that the rooms aren't sound proofed. You can hear very well the loud music and people talking even if you stay at the third floor. Oh sorry, the worst part is that their fire alarm might go off at 3AM in the morning. I checked out early as planned as the music is so loud and I can't get proper rest. I don't recommend to stay at this hotel at all. Their website is deceiving.

No warm welcome, not even a smile Lady at the entrance did not ask me to follow and just left – after I seen her taking the menu I realised she expected me to follow her Staff lack of training 15 min after ordering a drink to start with, i had to ask for ordering Food 15 min later Food arrived but still no drink Ask to send Food back while I am having my drink first Drink was a whisky sour. It was bad and lacking of alcohol- I drink maybe a glass or 2 per month, so everything I drink, I feel it straight, here, there were but a drop. Maybe it has evaporated during the 30min wait … Finished my drink wait again for the Food to come … I sat 45 min ago now and the Food came back Food looks OK, basic for the price, but OK Food taste very basic no salt nor pepper Of course I still have not got a smile Asking pepper and salt as none are on tables, while waiting my Food get very cold, I got the salt. It does not work and got big pieces of Salt in my plate Salt is almost empty but i am one of the first to eat Salad is very fresh and taste good The marinated tomatoes are good Waitress did not had the mood to say bye to me … Not worth the 25 euros for a toast and a bad cocktail and a bas service The only positive point is the decoration but that is it

Really nice place to have a drink or for a tea time but not to have lunch/dinner. Indeed, food is too expensive for the quality of the products. Entry: I almost only received the fat (white pieces) of the raw ham and the tomatoes were not ripe + Main: the beef was well cooked but was bathed in a sickening sauce. It's a pity...

Had brunch with friends. Food was beautiful. Fantastic decor and I loved the different areas. The garden room/ conservatory is fabulous, full of plants and greenery and a great setting for a party. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Visited house with work mates for drinks on a Friday night. Ended up having a storming night cutting shapes on various dance floors. Nice space, out side area is pretty. Good mixed crowd of people. I fully expect to visit again.

The Location is great. Street parking available, the prices are fair. I think we had the brunch menu that had some packages for like 2 course or 2 course for a set price, smart choice. The garden area is beautiful, really lovely spot for a gathering, the music was just perfect. You could still have conversations while enjoying the view. The service was great. Staff friendly and nice. Lovely experience. The food was good too.

Lovely place, amazing food, nice staff! I highly recommend. We had an amazing Sunday in the garden. My cloud drink was delicious and beautiful. I can’t wait to go back and try the pink room.

We had a large staff party there. The service was fairly consistent and β€œclassic” approach. The food was served to the whole table together perfectly. Mains came with sides to share and wine was topped up often. Overall a nice venue to have this type of events. The main and dessert were more enjoyable than the starters.

Cozy restaurant in the garden, nice for a romantic dinner or night out with friends. You can go to the night club afterwards. Spacious place with different areas, and some more private spaces by the entrance. I'll definitely be back πŸ˜€

I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. It exceeded my expectations – the food was fantastic, and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was phenomenal. The prices are a bit high, but you get top-quality food and drinks. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I first went to a Baby shower here as a Grandad to be, and was so impressed by the smoothness of the "Function operation" I went back for a holiday lunch experience with my wife the following week. Really impressed on both occasions. I didn't get to stay there so I can't comment on the rooms.

Magnificent staff. I had an incident last night and Emanuel and Nathalia didn’t hesitate to help me at all times. I will be eternally grateful. I have always liked this pub but now even more so. You always go back to places where you are treated or have been treated superb. A thousand thanks for everything Emmanuel and Nathalia.
