👍👍 A very interesting tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in showing us things he recommends we do in Dublin based on our interests. I definitely recommend anyone to go here, especially because it’s free. I learned a lot of interesting stuff about the history of Irelan... People often mention museum, interesting, free,

We accidentally stumbled upon this museum but were pleasantly surprised. Not only is it free, but also the employee there gave us a great tour and explained a lot of the history behind each of the displays. He was very helpful with recommending great places to go as well during our stay here. Thanks!

A small museum, literally translated, turns out to be a museum of income, most likely the tax service and everything connected with it, admission is free, the size of a two-room apartment. A moonshine still, a machine for minting coins and many other exhibits, apparently expropriated from people evading taxes.

A small, free museum. Very nice employee. They present a long history of robbing the Irish as part of the so-called taxes, initially by the British, after 1922 on behalf of Ireland. It's a pity that the opening hours don't mention a lunch break, I was waiting at the door.

I visited here some years ago and I still think about. It was a delightful little Museum and the person working at reception was very friendly. The museum is quite small but considering that Ireland is a tax haven perhaps this is not so surprising. I look forward to seeing what they do in the future.

A very interesting museum. I thought it would be boring but discovered just how connected taxation is with documenting historical periods. Had a nice conversation with the host there too. Dont allow the name of the museum to detract you as you might learn a lot here.

A small museum, free and located in Dublin Castle. The exhibition is easy to navigate and shows the history of legal and illicit income to Ireland. We found it interesting to make visible the work behind Customs and immigration controls, which prevent the trafficking of animals, illicit substances and other elements. The staff deserves a separate mention. A very kind man invited us in, chatted with us and even recommended other attractions. It's a pleasure to find people who enjoy their work. He made our visit very enjoyable ♥️.

Very good and little museum, hard to found. Very interesting if you interested the post and stamp world.

In itself an entertaining presentation of the development of the Irish tax system. Unfortunately, at no point does it leave the ground of bourgeois ideology and fails to ask the relevant materialistic questions. An opportunity was missed here.
