Our first impression upon arriving was that this was a fantastic hotel and a very trendy spot outside of bustling Dublin. My travel companion and I stayed the night before our flight back home and at about 2AM we were awoken by a man body slamming into our door. We yelled out the door for the man to leave, he did. We called the front desk and no one answered. 5 minutes later the man was back slamming on our door even harder. Then we heard a worker from the hotel and saw him with a key trying to enter our room. We yelled out again telling them to leave and they did and the hotel staff saying sorry before he left. Terrified (2 single female travelers), we called down stairs again and after a long few rings someone finally answered us and just said it was a mistake and hung up. To us this seemed so unprofessional. We were so frightened we couldn't go back to sleep and kept thinking, why would hotel staff bring him to our room if his name did not match the reservation? Was this an inside job? We did called staff again to tell them this is very unprofessional and the manager told us it would not happen again and he would speak to us in the morning. 4 hours later after tossing and turning we got up and left. Manager was not there. We waited and someone else came in, not the manager, and they said they were sorry but could not do anything. So they took our information and now we have 20 hours of flight time and no answers. Would not recommend this place. Unfortunately it was a horrible horrible experience on our last night in town *update: the hotel manager called us and made us feel much better about what happened. We really appreciated his professionalism in this matter. He refunded our stay and was genuinely very sorry for what had happened.

A go to hotel for stay in Dublin for sure. Location is amazing, really close to the city centre. They allowed us 1 hour earlier check in with no problems and the room was really nice for the price we paid. I have to point out the bed.. it was so comfortable. Another highlight was the full Irish breakfast, really delicious. Definitely would stay here again.

My cousin and I stayed for 1 night at The Mont and it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. A hotel is supposed to offer two things at a bare minimum - a place to sleep and safety. We got neither. We were woken up at 2am with a man slamming his body against our door trying to break in (I guess he was drunk and forgot his room number). There is a small peep hole in the door to look out. He told him to go away and he ran off. We tried calling the front desk and no one answered. 5 minutes later the man returned WITH someone from the hotel. The hotel person was about to let him into our room (the bright orange key cards are hard to miss). We screamed at them both to go away and they ran off again. We barricaded ourselves in our room with our luggage against the door and didn't get any sleep at all. We spoke to the manager in the morning and told him that they needed a serious guest safety training and that they should never bring a stranger to a guest's room who is not registered to the room. They offered us a 25% discount on our next stay... NO WAY WILL WE EVER BE STAYING HERE AGAIN. They also have not returned our emails asking for resolution. Totally unacceptable on all levels.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their cocktails were lovely and breakfast was unreal. So much variety, so fresh and everything tasted delicious. We would absolutely stay here again

All the staff made us feel very welcome, they were all friendly and allowed us to check into our room early. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options. The room we stayed in was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable.

A reasonably nice and inexpensive hotel in the beating 💓 of Dublin. Nice rooms and good service. The breakfast, at €25, needs a serious refresh. Take a walk in the morning for a good local breakfast at 1/3 the price.

Very nice experience overall. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice but found it to be a bit expensive. If you’re Irish, you’d understand, the Union Jack on the shower curtain made me shake my head. 🤦‍♂️

Fantastic stay! Wonderful location in Dublin, within walking distance to the river, Portobello, and Temple Bar neighborhoods. Staff was incredibly nice, and the interior design was eclectic, comfy, and modern. Great bed! The off-site parking was a little strange (it's a privately-owned basement garage around the block for $15 a day) but we were happy to have it since we rented a car for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was included which was a big plus!

The Mont was our accommodations for the final 3 days of our stay in Ireland. From the moment we arrived to the moment we had to say goodbye they were amazing. Alejandro especially went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and exceeded our expectations. From the breakfasts in the morning, booking our tour to Belfast and the drinks in the bar we wanted for nothing. I'm sorry I missed the bartenders' names but all of them were amazing. Esther and Alejandro especially made our stay incredible. Thank you all for your hospitality and your part in making our stay with you in Dublin incredible.

The Mont was lovely and the service was the best part. Everyone was so, so nice. Pros: Great staff, super clean facilities and insanely comfortable beds. The gym was fantastic and the location was perfect. Cons: The hotel pub doesn't have the best food/service, the hairdryers have a weird "safety" sensor on them so you cannot move them when drying your hair. Bring your own if you can because it's annoying. The showers do not have full doors so water gets on the floor. Tips: You can get a Dublin express coach to the airport right by the hotel for £8, there's a great wine bar called Note close by and Oscar Wilde's childhood home is right around the corner.

We absolutely loved staying at the Mont in Dublin. We booked two nights for a wedding and really loved our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with a really comfortable bed. One of the highlights of our stay was the front desk staff - Ivan in particular was incredibly welcoming and helpful; he made a point of welcoming us, helped us navigate the steps with our pushchair and arranged for any extras we required during our stay. The only downside to the stay was the difficulty in getting up and down the steps with my boy in his pram. We could access the lobby by going through the hotel bar from 12pm but it was difficult in the mornings. Otherwise, the stay was brilliant - a comfy, quiet two nights of sleep and a fantastic location. The staff excel at their jobs. Thank you!

We stayed at the Mont at the end of September for four nights. The Mont and their staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to assist us in every way they could. Our son was studying abroad at UCD which is approx. 5km outside of the city center. We did not have Euros or a bus pass for the public bus to get there. We asked Rosie who was working the front desk how we might get to the UCD. She replied "just use my bus pass!" We said there were two of us. She ADDED money to her account and gave us use of her card! Of course we paid her back after our trip, however the idea of someone we don't know letting us use her personal pass was extraordinarily kind, and goes to show you how amazing the staff at the Mont are. Another example: we had laundry we wanted to have washed. Because the laundry is picked up at 8:30am, we missed the pick-up. A Mont staff person who was walking past the front desk overheard our conversation and said, "I can take it to the cleaners myself and get it back to you before you leave this afternoon." They took our laundry and got it done before we left that day." They were amazing and we were truly grateful for all of the help. The kindness Rosie showed to us made our stay at the Mont that much more special. The rooms are wonderful, the Sin Bin Bar fun to have Pint in, and the breakfast amazing. Thanks to all the folks at the Mont, and Rosie, for a great time and for making our trip to Ireland that much more special.

This is a nice boutique hotel. The room was comfortable, the bed and pillows were great for sleep. The breakfast was also very good, with good selection. The hotel was clean, the personnel was very friendly.

Great location, great service, and great rooms. The bathroom is a great size, the beds are comfortable, and there’s a bus stop nearby. It’s also about a 12 minute walk from grafton street. And get breakfast! Delicious, hot, and fresh buffet-style breakfast served every morning. Wifi works great, a variety of television channels, iron + board, hair dryer, espresso machine, mini fridge with complimentary water.

As an adult couple looking to enjoy central Dublin this hotel was a perfect choice. Our room was very comfortable if a touch on the small side. We were also able to park our car locally for the duration of our visit. The staff were very attentive and looked after is while we chose from the many tasty breakfast options. Downstairs there is a very well appointed and clean gym with every machine that you could wish for.

This was probably the best of all the 4 star hotels that we stayed in during our trip. The room was nice, had ample space, and was clean. The service was good, tho it could have been slightly better, but not a big deal at all. The location was fantastic, a very easy walk to a wide range of restaurants and tourist destinations. Probably the biggest negative was the parking, which was overly complicated to access, a bit far away, and very unclean space that didn't convey "safe", in any way.

    1) the hotel staff was super nice and incredibly accommodating. You can tell they all like their jobs, because everyone was so happy 2) rooms are lovely, clean and in a great location 3) last, but most impressive to me, was the gym. I have never seen a better gym in any hotel that I have stayed at. If working out is important to you, just staying here for the gym alone is worth it. They have even the specialized, niche equipment you’re looking for

Our stay at the Mont Hotel for 4 nights was a wonderful experience. Our room was clean (and kept clean by the housekeeping staff), well stocked, and comfortable. The location of the Hotel is perfect if you don’t mind a little 10 minute walk to get to the Temple Bar area and Grafton street. Now that we’re back in the US, we can’t help but miss the yummy Irish breakfast we were welcomed to each morning. The staff running the breakfast room in the morning (Ana Luisa, Olga, Rafaella, and Aline) we’re pleasant, helpful, and friendly! We would definitely recommend staying at the Mont Hotel (and getting the breakfast package too)!

The Mont Hotel exceeded my expectations. I (a former Dublin resident) stayed here for two nights for a brief stopover in Dublin on my way back to the States. The location is perfect for walking into city centre. Front desk staff were wonderful. My room (Cosy Double) was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The bed was super comfortable. I ate at the Sin Bin one time and service was a little slow but I think they were busier than expecting for later in the afternoon. Things got better once the evening shift workers arrived. Food was fine. I would highly recommend this hotel/would stay here again if back in Dublin!

A lovely boutique hotel with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was expensive though (& more expensive if you don't book in advance) so we didn't bother. Given the room had a coffee machine it would have been nice to have fresh milk or more than the tiny amount given and, for the price, maybe some biscuits.

I'm currently staying, just finished breakfast after my first night, and I'll be staying another 4 nights. Because it's fresh on my mind, the breakfast buffet is the best I've ever been to, and I'm the kind of guy who cherishes a solid breakfast. Very impressed with everything here. The room is very comfy and clean. And the decor is so much better than the hotels I've been staying at previously. And it's great having a Nespresso machine in the room instead of the typical instant coffee provided at most hotels. The staff has been accommodating to such a degree I'm just amazed. I'm not one to say anything when I'm disappointed, but that won't be a concern here. Every single member of staff I've come across has been friendly has made sure I'm happy with arrangements. It's abundantly clear they like their jobs, or are just so good at them that I can't tell the difference. I'm from north America and was nervous booking a room here as I'm accustomed to chain hotels. After this experience, I won't be visiting a major chain again unless it just can't be avoided. 5 stars

Had a lovely stay. The most comfortable bed you could imagine. Staff were very helpful who upgraded us to a suite. Very spaceous room. Location perfect so convenient to everything Visit the National Gallery which is just around the corner.

Rooms are very nice but small. I would love to leave a 5-star review, but the restaurant is minimal now it’s just overpriced bland tasting food. The pizza and focaccia bread were incredible, but for some reason, they removed their two best items from the menu.

The room was clean with everything you need during a business trip. The team at the reception were adorable and very helpful, thank you! :) I would add more fruits and vegetables to the breakfast menu though.

Thankyou to the team at the hotel we where turely looked after From the moment we arrived at the hotel the service was 5 star. Big thank you to Allan who looked after us so well !! Thanks for our upgrade and the birthday surprise to the room. All of the team where great, first class facilities, the rooms where great, fabulous gym, the sin bar was buzzy serving yummy food and worth a look.. Breakfast was great serving buffet style and cooked breakfast so something for everyone. Location was a 12 mins walk to town so suited us down to the ground. Had a great time thanks for having us can’t wait to come back.

The hotel room was good albeit on the smaller side due to the slanted roof. Amenities were good but nothing special. Absolut plus was the breakfast buffet which I really liked. It had a good variety and replenishment was quickly done by the staff. If sth was needed really urgently the staff made to order too. The biggest downside is the gerade as it's a few walking minutes away and very small in terms of general space and number of parking spots.

Lovely contemporary boutique hotel. Was staying with my wife. We were having our baby in the nearby national maternity hospital. The owner and numerous staff repeatedly went out of their way to help us and make things as comfortable as possible and convenient as possible for me and my wife. From swapping free breakfast for a free dinner (because we were having to leave to the hospital too early in the morning to avail of the breakfast) and to providing us breakfast takeaway boxes so I could take my wife food on days only I was staying at the hotel and she wasn't, just the little gestures meant the world to us and it's something that goes desperately missing in so many hotels now. The only reason this wasn't an easy straight 5 star review was simply as for the price, we found our room to have a bit of a drafty window so the room got quite cold quite quickly and we got quite a bit of the late night noise from the punters in the street below and internet was quite sluggish. But definitely top marks for the hospitality, was super appreciated!

The Mont Hotel was beyond exceptional. Allan and his front desk team were amazing and incredibly fast during check in. Although we were early, there was a room ready for us. The room was beautiful and tons of space for luggage and to move around. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. Jayda and Steven (I hope I spelled them correctly) in the bar were two of the nicest people I have ever met and their knowledge of mixology is second to none. I just can't say enough about this hotel and the people that work there. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the City centre and is across from the hop on, hop off bus stop and Oscar Wilde's house. There are tons of little cafes, restaurants and stores, very close by. Vice, next door has amazing food. I hope one day to visit again. You should be very proud of your team and I hope you can pass on my sentiments. We were the couple visiting from Canada, in hopes that Jayda and Steven remember us.
