I have just returned a cream bun because it was from yesterday, and not fresh. Supervalu, please stop trying to sell yesterday's cream buns as fresh today. It's not that hard to tell the difference!

Be careful the food you pick up is actually IN DATE they always sell out of date stuff.. it’s very annoying when you’re picking up things in a rush.

Staff are very nice that's the reason I am giving 2 stars. Unfortunately this supervalue is the only supermarket within walking distance to me but I will just drive elsewhere. The food storage areas are either not suitable for the food or the food is out of date. A lot of fruit /veg I purchased there went bad days before expire date. I bought a large cake one morning for visitors that evening, the cake was actually mouldy by that evening. I bought a few cream cakes, the cream was sour, I almost bought sweet potatoes to discover they were mouldy. I ran in today to pick up a couple of cans of diet coke, I was really shocked to see the only single cans I could on sale were crushed and sticky, the had the sign "multi pack only, not for single retail. I always try to support local but this supervalue is way too unhygienic. Such a pity.

It's been some time since I visit your store and called in few weeks shop looks great. I bought some of killester dinners and some lovely hot cross buns. Popped in again today to purchase more dinners the atmosphere around deli was lively and spotless. Will make your store top of list for ready made dinners. And buns only thing all bakery to inviting to choose from. Regards Annette

Really unfair on most of the shops, but I couldn't give any rating to supervalu over my treatment by Supervalu Raheny. (July 2021) L.S.S. Saw bottles of wine on display for €9 each, decided to buy 12. (12*€9=€104, ok.) Then saw the same bottles in boxes beside display, picked up 2, easier to carry. Went to till and paid by card. My mistake, didn't pay proper attention, later noticed I was charged €144. ( That's €36 extra). Called back following day and approached off licence staff, explained what happened, he claimed that it was not a mistake as the bar codes on the boxes and the bottles are different. Although he agreed that the bottles were €9 each. People in queue behind started laughing. I asked to see a manager, the duty manager arrived and agreed with the staff member and was adamant that I was charged the correct price. He did offer me a refund if I returned the two boxes intact. I could only return one as I had used the other box as a prize for golf society. So I actually paid €18 for a cardboard box to carry the wine, all other shops supply a 6 bottle tray free of charge. I contacted supervalu customer service and initially they appeared appalled and assuerd me that they would pass on to relevant section to be dealt with. After five further contacts and being assured each time that the manager would contact me, I'm still waiting. (Over a year). I emailed HR in the Raheny store and the lady rang me the next day, she seemed appalled, and assured me that she would get "John" to call me. (9 months). Clearly the manager in Supervalu Raheny has no interest in customer care. As a result I have stopped using supervalu except for things we run out of, the bottle bank and the post office. I buy my wine for golf society outings elsewhere and seem to be getting better value, and either a FREE carry tray or wine box. Supervalu Raheny doesn't share the dream and I definitely didn't win at Supervalu.

The place is great easy to get around doing work in store Staff are amazing they helped me with my shopping and if there was more than 2in a que they opened a till brilliant job

A very good midsized supermarket with a lovely, friendly staff. Recent changes to the store layout have enhanced the experience.

Was extremely poor service today from deli staff being very rude and then at the till too. A lot of staff standing around chatting with big ques, bad management. Will not be returning and going to the super value in killester as much better experience. I can see why the killester branch wins the awards👎

Coming here for four years, never had any issues. But the Deli head was really rough this morning, very unwelcoming. Repeatedly asking what we want, as it's pricey( she assumed maybe we are homeless as asian). Please bring the old people back. Her assistance was pretty kind though.

Good local shop. Good fresh produce. Live the makeover.

Amazing staff their was a power cut on the tills having 2 babys with me that were crying as kids do in long waits waiting on the tills to get back up and running all the staff were ever so helpful even going to get my babys toys to keep them happy and at ease.. Absolutely love shopping here lovely staff and always so helpful and kind

Pick up four items in supervalu at 10.40am this morning went to bye cigarettes at the counter and I was told it was closed what kind of service is that I had too put everything back and shop some were else not happy with supervalu Raheny Dublin.

I have been shopping here for ten years. The young staff are particularly unfriendly and the shopping environment is disappointing.

Genuinely excellent butcher’s counter with knowledgeable friendly staff and good quality meat and a diverse range of cuts including organs and tasty good value slow cooking items.

Good service, clean and reasonably well stocked.

Small but very clean supervalue offering a good range of groceries. Also has a bottle shop.

Good shopping experience. Wanted to get some items from the bakery and some bread sliced. The staff member for that department was packed up, coat on and at the door ready to leave the store. She came back in and got me served showing a colleague how to use the machine if another customer asked. Thanks Lauren for great service 👍👍 (self service till was a hassle with the 4 barcodes he had on the cake box, but another member of staff was on hand to get me through it 🥴) 😀

Better than nothing, I suppose. There's so little space, the 2m distance is pretty much impossible to maintain. Selection of food is lacking if compared to other stores. Some of the staff wears "face shields" INSTEAD of masks. Also, my wife was asked for ID at checkout 2 times in a row for no apparent reason. Huge waste of time. Not recommended unless you can't go anywhere else.
