They serve breakfast until 11. I had sausages, fried eggs, bacon, pudding, onions, tomatoes, white toast and tea. It cost €15.25 which is expensive but... totally worth it. Kennedy’s are one of the very few cafes that don’t use cheap grizzly jumbo sausages. They use actual PROPER butcher sausages. They know how to fry an egg... crispy on the bottom and with a runny molten yoke. Everything on this plate was high quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I tend to come here on weekdays when it’s nice and relaxed. It does get a little bit crazy at the weekends. The decor and general ambience of this cafe is really good. You get to read an Irish times while enjoying the great food. I love this place. Seriously... five stars for sure...

I came to for lunch few weeks ago to meet a friend that actually works there. To be very honest that was my 1st time ever visiting Kennedys and won't be my last..this little place blew my mind..such a warm welcoming by staffs. The sandwiches and cakes were to die for..the brownies and coffee really melts in your mouth. Kennedys in fairview became my favourite spot.

Love Kennedys. Great place to grab lunch, good coffee and staff are really friendly and quick! My go to for a healthy lunch or a delicious treat - check out the cake truffles!

I had a great time today at lunch. The girls at this place a really nice and helpfull. I ordered the vegan wrap and it vas delicious (bit spicy but can order without it). It's also pet friendly I met a nice and very well-behaved little dog. They also have plant-based milk so you can order a cappuccino if you want to. Really cozy place. I hope I can return someday.

Nice place but so overpriced for breakfast they offer. €8 for breakfast - 2 slices of bread , 2 smallest pieces of rashers that doesn’t even cover one slice of bread(but meant to be enough for 2), 2 eggs ( I asked for the pouched eggs but what I got was hard boiled “pouched” eggs), relish didn’t come at all so have to ask for it, 1 smallest piece of butter that isn’t enough to butter one slice of bread so we asked for more. We asked for a glass of water TWICE and that didn’t come. Coffee was nice and that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. I would never go back for food. I left the place feeling hungry after spending €24 for 2 smallest breakfast and one tea and one coffee. A bit mean with portions I thought. Staff was lovely, but completely zoned out. Customer experience wasn’t a priority.

Delicious cakes and coffee and amazing staff. Gluten free breakfast options available too. I’ve been told they are dog friendly, but when we went we didn’t bring them with us so can’t confirm.

Coffee is so nice. I went here on Sunday for a walk with a friend and was so impressed with the staff. This is the only cafe that kindly allowed me to use their toilet. This is a huge issue in the pandemic and I really appreciated their kindness. Thank you!

Yum! Love this place. Best coffee and food is delicious. Slight negative is that they havnt changed the menu in a long long time. Other wise it’s great.

We were a party of 3 who came for breakfast. Two of our meals were just about warm, nowhere near hot and the third persons mushrooms were actually cold and had to be sent back. Don't know what the issue is in the kitchen that they can't serve food hot especially as they were not particularly busy. Unfortunately this was the second time we had tepid food served in Kennedys so definitely we won't be coming back. Its probably fine for a coffee and cake though.

Gorgeous little place. Beautiful food served by the nicest staff you could meet. Clean, cosy, friendly neighbourhood cafe with outdoor seating well placed for people watching. Highly recommended.

Food is a little overpriced, and could do with some more choices on the menu. Not bad, but not great !

Great place, yummy cakes and the sausage rolls are amazing. Also fantastic staff, we went in to eat in today and were somewhat frustrated with the waiting times and the manager personally apologised and offered to take off a drink off our bill.

If only the service was as good as the coffee and pastries. The staff are incredibly slow, it could take you upwards of 15-20 minutes to receive your coffee and pastry, whether you’re standing waiting for it as a takeaway, or whether you’re sitting down. The staff are really friendly but just so slow. There’s been several occasions where we order the coffee to be with oat milk, but somehow how the barista manages to mishear this each time, even if the place is quiet. Love it otherwise but just a bit frustrating because I can’t go in the AM because you never know how long it’ll take.

I’ll start by saying the buns and coffee are excellent here! However, the breakfasts need major improvement and has to be called out - we have had breakfast there a number of times now and have been really disappointed. From sitting down it has always taken 40+ minutes to get our food and it hasn’t even been busy. Food has arrived cold and you can tell it has been rushed - We ordered avocado on toast with poached eggs. The one slice of bread we got was hardly toasted, the avocado was put on the toast sliced (supposed to be smashed) and the butter came on the side which you couldn’t spread cause everything else was on top. We were charged €6 for a slice of cold bread with half a sliced avocado on it then an extra €2 for the eggs. Paying €8 wasn’t the issue but what we were paying for was - Not impressed. The upstairs interior of the building needs some love and a proper clean/dust.

Nice little coffee shop in fair view though I hear there is a few around Dublin. The staff are always friendly and cheerful I use to get my lunch from here all the time but after a few not normal sandwich and when I mentioned it I got "meh" responses I decided to change my local lunch venue however if your near and they have the spicy tomato soup definitely get some its lovely.

Lovely breakfast and coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful. They do have a large selection of treats and cakes and they are always really fresh. There is very limited space on the downstairs though sometimes with the buggy it can be a bit tricky.

I went here for breakfast and ordered the breakfast bap with added avocado and sausages. I was impressed with the dish and it was also good value for money. I also liked as you walk in to this restaurant the presentation of the cakes on show. I found overall I had a positive experience here and I would highly recommend a visit

Visited this place today at lunch time, the place was clean and the staff ladies are very pleasant. I ordered chicken sandwich, soup of the day and latte, which was served to me in a few minutes. Soup was fresh and hot and the latte was good. The sandwich was a bit cold and i ordered white bread but got brown bread but no complaints on that. Their prices arw very competitive and portions were good size for the price i paid. I'm quite happy about that.

Nice little cafe, overall wasn't bad, but they could have toasted a little less my New York Sandwich.

Had breakfast this morning in this establisment. Very disappointed. Only 2 poached eggs and rashers and extra charge for 2 sausages. No beans or pudding. The sourdough toast was extremely hard, nearly cracked a tooth. I had to remove crust so as to eat it. There was a funny taste from pot of tea and looked like grease on top of when poured in cup. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was worst breakfast I ever eat. I wouldn't call full Irish when it was missing black and white pudding, beans, mushrooms etc. The extra charge for 2 sausages, ehich weren't cooked properly, white underneath and top a little bit brown.
