Service : very welcoming, amazing staff. Food : delicious and have a good variety and very balanced although the pesto was a little too salty for me. The burrata is just mamamiaaaaaaaa ❤️ Atmosphere : very cosy not too loud and if you want to be calm and quiet come there at 12 I swear you will be all alone for at least 30mins 😆 Quality/price : very affordable and incredible deal for 2/3 courses meal for lunch time. Quantity: generous portions and you will be contented trust me 🤤 I highly recommend and will definitely go back !

I won't be back. The prices are firstly, even for Dublin, extortionate. They basically sell the idea of a premium dining experience, which I assure you it was not. I ordered an overpriced glass of guinness which was warm, bitter and overall not drinkable. The starters arrived and I had the scampi and I thought as a high end restaurant they could pull it off. They failed on this and the prawns were rubber and chewy and also very oily. The fillet steak was tough and bland and really lacked flavour, something that you might get in a poor country pub. The service was ok but the food was actually awful. It was over 230 euro for lunch for 3 people where I could have had a better meal in my local pub and still have change from 100. Avoid at all costs, not worth it and terrible terrible food by all means regardless of the price

Avoid if you're vegan or vegetarian. As it comes highly recommended, we booked Peploe's for a special occasion. On the phone, I had informed them that half the table was vegan and vegetarian, they said they'd be well able to cater. However, they only had one main which was very uninspired and lacked creativity. In 2022, the vegan and veggie world have exploded with fresh and fantastic food flavours and it seems that Peploe's have been left behind. The other people who ordered meat weren't overly impressed by the food, but one who ordered fish said it was delightful.

Shin beef smothered in a tomato sauce ,the Chef obviously has no palate. It was the most disgusting mush that I have ever tasted. Shin beef cooked properly rendered down has a beautiful flavour to take the time to do that and then cover it in a tomato sauce is ridiculous,

Delicious & stylish food. Lovely ambiance. Careful to check your bill — I was charged for an extra 3 course meal…but overall lovely experience

The stuff was very attentive and working like bees to make sure we have everything. The food was simply good. I forgot I am vegetarian that night and I am glad for that, because the t-bone steak was delicious. Fried scampi were good too. The only thing I wasn’t sure about was mushroom soup (starter), the taste wasn’t strong as I expected it to be. Sides such as fries and green beans were perfect and plenty. Wine was good and went well with the food (I forgot what bottles we had).

Attended for a work dinner, due to our group size and early dining time of 5 pm we were given a cheaper menu which was still very expensive. The food was underwhelming, I had the chicken Milanese, it was dry and a little greasy. The cocktails were delicious but the experience was marred by the fact that we were crammed in a corner beside another medium sized group. All in all, relieved work was paying because the standard of what’s available in Dublin is much higher than what is on offer here - especially for what they are charging.

Amazing food and excellent service. A special meal for my girlfriend’s birthday. Got a wonderful service and support from Bruno and his colleague to surprise with a birthday cake. Absolutely come back again. Perfectly recommend for a couple or family in special event.

Really nice spot with a good atmosphere and attentive staff. The food and cocktails are great. It is a bit loud as other reviews have mentioned, but it didn't really take away from our experience. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the price. €90 per person for 3 courses and a couple of drinks seemed to be a bit overpriced for what we got. I would still recommend the restaurant. Do yourself a favour and order a sicilian sour

I think my expectations for Peploe's may have been too high going in, which essentially set me up for a bit of disappoinment. I'll start with the good. The location is pretty central and convenient enough to get to since it's right by St. Stephen's Green. The staff was also very friendly and responsive. Now on to the less than stellar part of my meal. The place was really loud, so if you're going here with others, be prepared to scream at each other in order to be heard. There was a really loud guy sitting at the table next to me and I swear he had to have broken the ear drum of the guy next to him with how loudly he was screaming. That said, this is out of the restaurant's control, so I'm not dinging them for this. This is more of a PSA so folks know the kind of dining environment they're stepping into. Now on to the food, which was pretty underwhelming. The portions were very generous and the flavors were decent, but I guess I was expecting more given the great reviews I had read about this place. The tuna tartare didn't taste fresh and my steak was drowning in the peppercorn sauce. For a steak dish, it's pretty sad when the watercress is there star of the dish. Overall, I thought it was just a very average dining experience.

It’s not safe, because the staff and manager were not wearing masks properly. The first table we were offered was 30cm from another table. The mask never made it over the waiter’s nose. Occasionally it made it over his mouth but was essentially a chin decoration. The manager repeatedly removed his mask to speak with people.

Our experience was mixed. We didn't order starters as decided we wanted to go with a main and desserts. 2 courses are €40.50 with a €5 supplement for the steak. I ordered the steak medium well. It came with a stuffed porcini mushroom and pomme frites. The steak was nice but a bit grizzly and tough. I recommend ordering the potatoes instead of the pomme frites and a portion of vegetables as none come with the steak. The dessert was by far the highlight. Our sincere compliments to the dessert chef. We ordered the chocolate fondant and the creme brulee accompanied by the flirtini and a salted caramel espresso martini which has a rum base. Highly recommend.

Cozy and fancy place with a perfect location just in front of St Stephen's park. The service and the ambience were amazing. I totally recommend the pasta with ragú as a main dish, it was super good!!

Chic and cozy but slightly cramped. Food was incredible, but it would have been nice to have more space between tables, so that a large/tall person such as myself wouldn't feel so much like a bull in a China shop. Otherwise, everything was very lovely.

You would expect more of the food for the price. But maybe I was unfortunate to order the wrong dish. Hake was probably much better than fish of the day that was what I chose. Service is good if you go in as a couple, the salt and pepper containers take huge room on the table... Hardly have space to enjoy drink etc... Just a suggestion.

Very greasy scampi fries and onion rings. If I wanted that much grease I would have gone to a chipper.Apart from the lovely bread there was nothing special. Its really a shame as I expected more from this being my first visit.

It was so lovely to be back dining in Peploes.. Delicious monkfish and halibut. All human life was there catching up on missed out celebrations. Friendly staff, very professional, excellent food.

A great place for a special occasion. Staff were very friendly at all times no matter how busy it gets. Onion salad wasnt too good though but the rest is delicious. The ribeye is a must order, though it came with french fries instead of mashed potatoes. Very central near Stephen's Green so you can grab a drink elsewhere afterwards.

Pricey but worthy! I was at Peploe’s after a business meeting and the food was delicious. The best quality in Dublin so far (together with Host). Really cozy place, nice atmosphere, a bit noisy but the dishes were fabulous. Good presentation and great flavour. Staff was polite and friendly. Wine list was also very decent. The crème brûlée was brutally good. Thanks so much.
