Flew in from Liverpool to Dublin and headed straight to SBG gym . Was open amd the guys there could not be more welcoming. Made me and my daughter feel very welcome and invited us to have a walk around although there was training sessions progress . As a massive MMA , SBG and of course Connor McGregor fan this was an unbelievable experiance for me and my daughter. Was invited back the next day . Coach Colin was a credit to SBG and coack Kavanagh . What a top guy Colin was, spent 10 mins talking to us and thank you to Richie Smullen for saying hello and good luck for your UFC debut coming up. Cant wait to go back tomorrow

Traveled to dublin from canada had sbg on my list of spots to hit to see the notorious gym. Got to the gym told the desk lady where i was from and how i would love to take a quick walk thru. She said we couldn't go past the desk or take any photos other then of the mat at the front door.... She was straight faced no emotion, just poor service. Pretty sad after just coming from mjölner gym in iceland where they gave me a full tour no questions asked ... let me meet gunnar nelson while i was there as well. Nothing against the gym, just to the desk lady.

Best place to train in Ireland. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is great, everybody is very helpful and approachable. Gym is open from early am to late pm which is great as classes run throughout the day. I have trained in numerous mma gyms over the years and this one is far superior.

I just visited from the US and was very interested in checking out SBG. I came just in time to do the no gi class with Nerijus. He was awesome to work with as he had a whole class to focus on and still had time to work with me even as I was just a day pass guest. Afterwards he even asked me to stay to take a second class and even let me know when Conor would come in the next day to take pictures after his training. Was such a great experience as a visitor. They even let me and my gf take as many pictures as we liked. The students(locals) are very lucky to have such a respectable gym to train at. Thank you SBG for the great experience! I'll defintely be back here on my next trip to Ireland! Cheers!

I came over from Italy to see the gym where a legend was born... Guys from the gym were super nice 👍 and I bought a couple of nice tshirts... I was the only fan in the gym and Conor was there!!!! ... But, to my delusion, Conor himself warned me not to take any photo while a professional photographer was taking many... And then we had to leave because fans are not allowed to stay long 😪

Gym, sauna, many different classes very nice people and staff. But no Cold shower :( Sauna and prone to contusion classes and no cold shower? Like ordering a meal on a hot day and receiving hot tea, sorry no fizzy drinks in this establishment.

I’ve followed John Kavanagh since his professional MMA days fighting Danny Batten, Leigh Remedios, etc and been fortunate to attend many of his seminars and training camps as he’s become one of the very best, if not the best MMA coach in the world with competitors such as Conor McGregor and Gunnar Nelson. The 6.30am class is particularly ideal for me when I’m working in Dublin as it gets around traffic, is a great start to the day and is still near enough to get back to Google Dublin by 9am and it’s open until late. Just spent this weekend visiting from SBG Bury at the SBG Ireland Jiu Jitsu camp. Friendly people, fantastic coaching, gi, no gi and grappling sessions for a very reasonable price considering the hours of mat time and teaching available. The facilities are also world class. Whatever your level, you'll learn from the very best here.
