Again a place on my doorstep that i have drove by for years. On entering via a small gateway from Arbour Hill cemetery you are met with a rather impressive 25 pounder gun from ww2. Its in stunning restored condition. Its located in the stunning veterans walled garden which are beautifully manicured. There were a few friendly veterans visiting who explained the workings of the old gun and provided tour of the garden. Even was offered a cuppa. Worth a look for sure.

Discovered that beauty of a park yesterday. Very well tended park. Dogs must be on the lead as mark of respect for the place and its purpose.

Great for meeting with old comrades. Staff are brilliant. Great excuse to get out and meet people. Plenty of banter
