Overall
I
was
pleasantly
surprised
by
this
5km
beach.
You
will
immediately
notice
and
enjoy
its
talc-soft
white
sand
which
stretches
back
to
the
tall
grass
nature
reserve
behind.
You
will
generally
find
it
with
less
people
than
other
beaches
around
the
Dublin
Bay,
giving
you
more
free
space
to
enjoy
yourself.
The
only
issue
I
found
was
the
southeast
end
of
the
beach
near
the
Statue
of
Our
Lady,
located
at
the
end
of
the
Wooden
Bridge
entrance.
This
area
had
a
very
strong
fishy
smell
caused
by
the
accumulated
seaweed
piled
up
on
the
beach.
That
being
said,
if
you
walk
a
few
minutes
northward
up
the
beach
you
will
no
longer
notice
this.
The
farther
away
from
the
southeast
region
you
are,
the
more
pleasant
the
experience.
Access
to
this
beach
is
easy
from
the
city,
be
it
by
foot,
bike
or
car.
There
is
a
car
park
near
the
Statue
of
Our
Lady
(located
at
the
end
of
the
Wooden
Bridge
entrance).
