We loved our stay here. The host was very friendly and hospitable and welcomed us with tea and cake. We requested an early check in and to our surprise this was possible, so nice! The room was clean and comfortable. The location is superb, a great place to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. The only very small advice I could give is to replace the mattress in room 9. We definitely would book here again!

What a magnificent experience, welcomed at the door by an Angel . Who gave us coffee and cake . The room was so peaceful . The building is a Victorian era with majestic high ceilings . No noise , extremely clean . Peaceful will gladly stay here when back in Dublin . Thank you . Thank you .

I cannot speak highly enough of this guest house. From the moment of arrival, we were treated with care and attention, even though we arrived early to just drop off luggage, was given coffee and allowed to check in early. Lovely touch which was much appreciated 👍 The decor is beautiful, understated and classy which leaves one with the impression of a house where a literary or artistic salon would take place if we still lived in those times. Staff are amazingly invisible and unobtrusive unless you need them then they just......appear and cater to your Needs. Special mention to Marie, a lovely Woman who was welcoming, Professional and obviously takes pride in the place. A very knowledgeable and decent woman,We had a lovely chat with her before leaving. . Will 100% visit again when in that part of the city.

I have spend 6 weeks in the same place over the week days, not the weekends, all I had in my little room was a not working television and no radio. My friend was in St. Luke's Hospital and I stayed for his mental support. The lady in Aidens was contrary and has given out to her husband when I tried to make the television work a small bit upstairs in my room because I have been very bored in my room when I was not visiting my friend in hospital. Altogether the experience in Aidens was bad, the couple that owns it are contrary. I wonder what others experiences are, probably not better than mine. Cleaniness OK not best either, no dinners only breakfast and no supper. I would not recommend this place at all !!!!!! Response to owners response: you see she's contrary. Everything else was true that I said. How does Marie know I am female if she wouldn't know me. Hmm? I got my stay paid by you from St Luke's Hospital and to your information Marie it was in early 2002 the time when Irish pounds were changed out to Euros money. How comes that 2 other visitors to you say the same or even worse one of them 2 said even that she was bitten by bed bugs or so and in her suitcase were bugs from your place. I stand to what I said that you gave me a very small room with single bed and a small and not working TV with no TV channels only snow, and I heard you shouting at your husband when I tried to find a tv channel and he shouted at you what you want him to do.There were no books and other tvs that I saw you must of had them all privately put away. I was happy when my horrible 6 weeks were over staying with youas it made me very lonely and sick.Yes I stayed 6 weeks with you Marie in 2002. My opinion hasnt changed and I would not recomment but I recommend to collect your own experiences I hope you finish your stay in st aidens in rathgar happily because I left traumatised. Sorry Marie but whats true is true. Only good experience was to walk around in Rathgar and Dublin for 6 weeks that was worth visiting.

St. Aidens Guest House (Radghar) is perfectly located. Close enough to the center but still a very quiet area. Super comfortable with the bus lines 14, 15 and 15a, 65 and 65b to the city and back. The room is very spacious. We booked single beds and even got 1 kingsize bed + 1 single bed. These were very comfortable. All amenities were there. In addition to coffee, tea and milk, fresh water every day. In the bathroom all the necessary accessories were more than adequate. The hostess is very nice and welcomed us lovingly. We have also received useful tips.

Nice place to spend some time in Dublin. Quite far from the city center but well connected with the center. The room was nice and to be honest it was more than I expected. Two beds, nice bathroom, cosmetics, shampoo, toilet papier, towels, tea, coffee, electric kettle, TV and free internet. It was also clean and silent (but if there would be someone not silent we would probably hear that). Generally a nice place with a great price.

BED BUGS. Our stay there was cute and just what we needed. Friendly owners and the price was good. However, not only did we get bites when we were there, but we later got bites back at our own apartment and found bugs in our suitcases we brought there with us. We have never had bed bugs until then. Very discouraged with our current situation.

Very cozy b&b with comfortable beds and extraordinarily friendly hosts! The breakfast offered quite many and fresh things. The rooms are equipped with a water boiler and tea and coffee powder. Perfect place to explore Dublin from :)

Lovely quiet place, great bed and freshly laundered bed linen. Located in a nice part of Dublin with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended

An Unforgettable Stay at St. Aiden's Guesthouse I had the pleasure of staying at St. Aiden's Guesthouse, for 2 nights last week and it was a truly delightful experience. Although I booked last minute and had no prior reviews to rely on, my worries quickly dissipated upon arrival. On arrival, I was warmly greeted by Marie, who immediately made me feel at ease. Her genuine hospitality shone through as she offered me a cup of tea and a slice of cake, setting the tone for a memorable stay. I stayed in the family room, which easily accommodated four people, making it ideal for families or groups traveling together. I had a fridge and kettle in the room allowing me to enjoy a cup of tea whenever I desired. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when choosing accommodation, and St. Aiden's Guesthouse exceeded my expectations in this regard. The room and ensuite were spotless. I will definitely return for my next trip to Dublin and highly recommend St. Aiden's Guesthouse to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a charming and hospitable environment.
