HEALTH SAFETY ADVISORY: This restaurant has really gone down in quality. We ordered spicy food but what we got was inedible food. The food made me sick and throw up. I called the restaurant back but they said they cant do anything and the lady on the phone was very unhelpful. I am never ordering from here again and will be asking all my friends to never order from here ever again

I gave Namaste India a try and it was A complete let down. Unfortunately the standard of the food is very very low, mix platter for two, everything was dry overcooked and probably made in the morning and cooked again before serving, it’s not freshly battered and deep fried, prawn samosa burnt on one side and soaking in oil. Mixed Biryani tasted nice but the proteins inside was over cooked and dry. They are not even close to 1 star. I will never order from this place again. What a waste of money.

Pathetic! Well I used to love this restaurant and was a regular here but it has gone really down in the past couple of months. I ordered food and asked them to make it spicy and they instead made it totally inedible! Literally my mouth was on fire and head spinning. And I am someone who eats a lot of spice (Indian standards). Over that when I called the restaurant to complain, the woman on the phone was super rude and they just said they can’t do anything that’s what u asked for 🤨 literally no good restaurant would say so! I hope the desi staff understands and does something about their services 😒 pic- literally 4 large chillies in one small box 😖 crazy!!

Tried Namaste India tonight. I didn’t have particularly high exceptions, though I was under the impression that I was hungry enough to eat nearly anything. This misconception was quickly corrected at the first sight and taste of the food. The color of the food was bright and horribly artificial, the chickens we got were sitting in a revolting custard sweet enough to make a child spit it up. I’d be shocked if they use anything but milk, honey, sugar, and food dye to make their food. On top of this the food is immediately hard on the stomach, but I suppose listening to my friend vomit was preferable to trying to push through that block of sugar they call Indian food. Genuinely tasted like they followed a recipe written by buddy the elf. Staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly (not shocked).

Bland, bland, bland! Watery sauces that are overly sweet like they added corn syrup or something. Paranta was soggy and tasted like a day old dirty sock. Worst Indian food of my life! We couldn't even finish our meal.

Worst food i have ever had in my life. I ordered a Tandoori butter chicken. They gave some white sweet curry with boiled chicken on it. I think the chicken was gone. As soon as i had a bite i wanted to vomit. Its a request to this takeaway that please do not fool customers. If you want to waste your money and get sick then please order from this useless takeaway.

Small litte indian place with great food and reasonable prices. Might not look as fancy as others, but the food makes up for it. The second time we ordered we brought the plastic trays from the first time with us (to safe on waste) and even got a 10% discount. Also have to mention, that the staff was very nice. Our go to indian take away in Dublin.

After standing there for 25 mins , finally got delivery of our take away order. But to our great displeasure, the dishes were absolutely unpalatable....almost no salt, not at all spicy, the chef had himself noted to make chicken Hyderabadi, Desi style ie spicy. Veg Korma, Namaste special veg and chicken Hyderabadi absolutely tasteless. Chapatis were rubbery and chewy again. We dumped all the food in the garbage bin and along with it the 60€ Will never visit or recommend especially to the Indian diaspora over here in Dublin. Worst experience on first day in Dublin.

Avoid! Worst meal I’ve ever paid for. The naan tastes like day old pancakes. The paneer tastes like rubber. All of the sauces are made from a can. If they just heated it up it would be better than whatever they did to it.

Ordered a butter chicken and was seriously disappointed. The sauce was watery and bland, with no real spice and was oddly sweet. You'd get a nicer butter chicken sauce from a jar. The chicken was obviously boiled, had no seasoning and just tasted bad. The naan, rice and everything else were great, but kinda pointless without a delicious sauce.

We tried to order for delivery through their website but when it said ‘collection only’ we gave them a ring. The guy on the phone said ‘no problem just select collection and add in the notes where you’d like it delivered to’. So we waited an hour and when the food didn’t arrive we called back. Person on the phone was oblivious of our previous conversation and said he’d send the food out to us straight away. It did arrive in 15 minutes but the starters were cold and while the curries were hot I wasn’t a huge fan of mine - I ordered prawn dupiaza and it was quite bland - although very hot! The Bombay potato dish we also ordered was much better and the naan and popadoms were grand. All in all a bit of a disappointment - wouldn’t recommend.

This is honestly a little hidden gem. I’ve ordered twice from them, once online and once collection. The food is outstanding, such amazing quality and the portions are massive, I really recommend the chicken tikka and the Aloo chop starter. Yesterday I collected my order and people working there was just so friendly. You can see directly into the kitchen as they’re cooking and everything looks spotless even if the exterior of the shop doesn’t look much. They do amazing meal deals too, definitely give this place a go.

This was the worst meal I have ever had in my life, and this opinion is shared by my two friends who had the displeasure of consuming this “food” as well. The garlic naan was store bought and full of literal garlic chunks, the rice was okay, but the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were disgusting. The sauces tasted bizarrely sweet, as if a kilo of sugar was added, and that’s the only flavour that was present. The chicken itself was okay but incredibly bland. We are all complaining of stomach pain already. This is such a shame as this was my second time ordering as the first time was awful as well and I was just hoping I ordered the wrong thing. I recommend this place to absolutely no one, you’d be better of eating instant noodles. Staff were nice and service was quick. About the only nice thing I can say about this place.

Had the chicken special - Jalfrezi. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. It literally tastes like it’s come out of a jar from the supermarket. No flavour in the food, the chicken was so dry and bland. Not Indian cuisine by any means.

Ordered two daily specials online for collection, only to find out that it's €2 pair dish if you order in shop , I brought this to their attention and they came up with some excuse which was unacceptable,so told them I would not be paying that price and he took it back, very abruptly, bad customer service, former loyal customer. The restaurant up at Hanlons corner is much fresher and better customer service

Sort out your Deliveroo times, we’ve been waiting almost two hours with no sign. Also was lied to saying the order was en route when it was clearly not. Terrible would not recommend

They forgot one of our main orders tonight and when we rang Namaste-India Dublin to inform them they told us that wasn't true and didn't send a replacement. We have ordered many times but not anymore after tonight. Standard of food has been getting progressively worse lately. Really bad business to treat loyal customers like this!

Food is delicious but delivery can be very slow. They say up to an hour but it was just over an hour & a half. They should just let you know that!

This place is a real institution , fantastic food (especially the Moglai chicken).

  • 1/5 Priyadarshini M. 2 years ago on Google
It is a complete waste of money. I am an Indian and it's definitely not chicken tikka masala. The chicken tasted old, they have added so much color... If it was upto me I would not even give it one star. In this age of technology...youtube how can recipes go so wrong I don't know.

  • 2/5 Gregory B. 1 year ago on Google
Briyani was okay but the chicken Tikka masala was really not very good. Honestly have had better Indian food on airplanes and basically every other indian restaurant I've ever been to. Giving them 2 stars since the price was right, the portion size was good, and we haven't gotten sick at least.

  • 3/5 Ioannis S. 1 year ago on Google
It's an average take-out indian place. They have fair prices compared to the amount of food you get and with other places. The food is ok, nothing special to be honest. Naan bread and papadams are tasty. Rice is ok (but not always, it can be cold sometimes and bland). Pakora or samosa are just average. Probably you will end up here when everything else is closed.

best Indian takeaway we recommend in Dublin.. you get the value of the money you pay.. I personally love their chicken tikka roll.. amazing..

  • 5/5 Bilal S. 1 year ago on Google
Ordered from them twice now and they don’t disappoint. They’ve sent some free goodies both times and the servings are great for the price. Naan is always fresh! All food is halal which is another plus.

One of the best Indian takeaways from my knowledge. The staff at Namaste India is so helpful and kind. The food is so good, yes honestly it's really really good for the price we pay. I have been ordering from them quite often at this stage and they never fail with their customer service and the tastiest food. Thank you so much for actually bringing the flavors of India here in Dublin. I would highly recommend them if you're from Dublin. They are really good.

Recommend the chicken pakora roll, great mix of durty takeaway kebab and a popular and delicious starter dish which are the pakora. Also stays open until very late so always a good place to fill up after a few

I used to get takeaway very often from there. All the times the food was really nice and well cooked. The last time the food was cooked and reheated because the chicken had a very weird taste, I told them when I went to get takeaway the next time and in return they gave me my order without the sauces and also the chicken was really hard and needed to get cooked more. Never again.

Good value for money, the meal deal is perfect for 2 even 3 people. The korma is delicious they have great vegetarian dishes. Take away only. The mango chutney and the poppadoms are tasty.

Excellent food ESPECIALLY at the prices being charged - Namaste is undoubtedly the cheapest Indian takeaway in Dublin for the quality AND quantity of food. Good distinct flavours, excellent vegetarian options and very friendly helpful service all add to the pleasure of ordering from here. This was a takeaway order so no idea of the place itself & is a bit out of the way for me to try it.

Ordered aloo Tikki and biryani! The food was horrendous; in taste and in it's after effects. The spices in the biryani were not even blended it! You could taste the coarseness even though the biryani was bland and tasteless. Very disappointed! Woke up to an upset stomach with jabbing pains. DO NOT ORDER.

I felt it's not Indian taste at all, tasteless food! If you order food online food arrives after ages, and you have to keep chase it! Don't fall for the cheap rates, quality of food not good. Sitar or Diwali restaurants are better in taste!
