I
purchased
a
morganite
ring
and
also
my
boyfriend
purchased
a
morganite
pendant.
I
spent
2803.20
Euros
on
the
ring
and
a
pair
of
earrings.
He
spent
over
$1000
on
the
pendant
and
was
up
charged
for
a
longer
chain.
I
must
have
bumped
the
ring
which
caused
me
to
bring
it
to
a
local
jeweler
to
adjust
the
prongs.
Jeweler
one
said
that
the
diamonds
are
not
real
and
wouldn't
touch
it.
Second
and
third
jewelers
said
that
the
prongs
are
not
appropriate
to
hold
the
morganite.
It
will
cost
me
$600
more
to
build
the
prongs.
Second
jeweler
said
it
was
equivalent
to
something
that
would
be
purchased
at
a
cheap
depart
store.
Ring
is
9k
and
the
same
price
as
the
18
karat
ring
on
the
website.
The
earrings
are
hallow
but
we're
still
over
$200.
The
necklace
I
wore
for
several
hours
before
I
needed
to
adjust
the
clasp
to
the
back
of
my
neck.
With
slight
pressure
to
turn
it
around,
the
chain
snapped.
I've
had
to
pay
$130
to
buy
a
new
chain
so
I
can
actually
wear
the
necklace.
The
same
ring
in
14K
is
$1100
in
the
US.
I
emailed
RARE
to
make
this
good
with
no
reply
what
so
ever.
My
recommendation:
Save
your
money
and
purchase
with
a
trusted
jeweler.
I
now
have
over
$3800
worth
of
"RARE"
jewelry
that
I'm
afraid
to
wear
and
feel
is
just
junk.
Most
sad,
I
purchased
these
as
heirloom
pieces
with
money
that
was
gifted
to
me
upon
my
dad's
death.
I
had
hoped
to
give
them
to
my
children
one
day
but
now
I
don't
have
confidence
in
them.
