Won't shop at any other Dublin petshops since finding this store. Moved here in July from Chicago and was stressed about swapping my 9 year old dog to new foods/brands here and the team has been wonderful every step of the way. The order ahead pickup option saves time as well - so happy they exist!!!

I’ve been shopping here for pet stuff for a while now. Shauna’s pet store is definitely one of the best pet stores in Dublin, in my opinion. Nothing but positive feedback for this place. They sell a really diverse selection of products for your pets including food, hygiene products and toys. There’s a lot to choose from and the staff are always so friendly. The toys are very very durable. The woof and purr pizza toy is able to withstand two hyperactive Jack Russell Terriers so I recommend them. They sold us this cuddly octopus toy too and the dogs are delighted!

Shauna's petshop is the best pet store I've been to in a long time, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff here will ensure you know how to look after your pets with the best care and advice. I got my leopard gecko, Ducky, here and she's doing amazing. Anytime I have any questions and messaged the store in Instagram they're very good at getting back to you and they're always willing to help you improve your animal care! I ordered online the other day and received my order this morning, delivery service is amazing. I actually cannot fault this shop in the slightest and love visiting to get food for my new best friend. Thank a million, yous guys are the best!

I can confidently say that Shauna's is the best pet shop in Dublin. They supply only the best, species appropriate products available. Their range for small pets is especially impressive, a market which is usually riddled with unsuitable and outright dangerous products. Shauna & co are very knowledgeable and I recommend coming to them for advice about specific products or general animal care questions. Above all, Shauna's feels like a business run on a genuine passion for animals and their care, something that is sorely lacking in most other pet shops.

Amazing Staff!! The staff here are so helpful and friendly. I purchased 3 whites tree frogs and the whole set-up from them. They were adamant I had to have the enclosure fully set-up with the right temperature and humidity before I could pick up the frogs as they really care about all the animals they have which I really admire. They were all really knowledgeable with any additional information I needed to know and also informed me if I ever needed any help in the future with my frogs I could call the shop or even text the page on instagram which is amazing! Can’t recommend them enough, not even for getting a new pet but they have an amazing range of products for all different pets and a great online shop too🥰

Excellent service and prompt delivery of my Order. My cat Gizmo loves his new cat food and is very proud of his new collar and bow-tie. Gizmo also loves his Catnip. He gets very excited and has great fun. Thank You.

Large selection of thoughtfully selected and safe items, especially for smaller pets. There's a lot of stuff out there for sale that's actually harmful for the animals so it's great to see a pet shop that tries to stock items that you can trust. The staff are super helpful too.

I bought some books through the online shop which I couldn't find elsewhere. Super fast delivery and I am happy with the price. Some of the reviews are a bit negative due the fact customers are expected to know how to look after their new pet and purchase suitable enclosures/tanks. I look at this as a positive. I am happy to support a business that promotes proper husbandry.

Shauna’s pet shop is by far one of the best pet shops in Ireland, they sell a whole variety of different items for animals (big and small!) I have to say, I adore the hamster section, you can see and know that the car the hamsters in store get are 5 stars, i love the range of rodipet products, different bedding and substrates as well as enrichment! I also find the delivery amazing, most of the time I get it next day which is fantastic! I cannot wait to come go back to Shauna’s pet shop as soon as I’m back in Dublin ♥️

Shauna's is my go to for anything I need for my pets. They've never let me down for anything I needed for my snake. So many places will stock bits and pieces for most animals but Shauna's will have everything you'll need so no need to go hunting around loads of places. Plus the staff are just so lovely to chat to about anything animal.

Love Shauna's 💓 They have boarded my two budgies a good few times over the last number of years and have always looked after them so well while in their care. Shauna and her staff are full of great advice and really lovely.

Traveled up to Shauna’s recently as I was interested in purchasing my first reptile, Andy was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient and gave me all the confidence and knowledge needed to correctly care for my new Leopard gecko. I was particularly impressed with their emphasis on having the correct habitat sizes, lighting etc (all of which backed up by the latest research and staff experience) Very impressed and will be back very soon!

This is such a special shop for animal lovers. I've never been in a pet shop like this before where the staff are so caring about animals. We adopted fish from the shop and they were so careful about checking that our pond was safe and suitable. The staff really care about the rescued animals they have and offer unparalleled knowledge about pet care. Highly recommend supporting this shop in whatever way you can. We need more places like this in the World!

The staff here are so amazing. Really knowledgeable and passionate about animals. Great atmosphere in the shop and fantastic selection. Highly recommend Shauna's, especially if you're also looking for some advice on products. Hobie here also vouches for their great taste in treats and toys! Also sporting a lovely Baumutt harness from Shauna's in his crate (also from Shauna's!).

I bought my bearded dragon here a few months ago and it was and continues to be such an amazing experience, the staff are so patient, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My beardie has been active, friendly and so healthy since the day I got her, which speaks volumes on how amazingly the staff care for the animals here! Every time I have a question, the staff is so accommodating and I truly find myself having lovely conversations with them every time I go in and get food for my beardie. I can’t say enough good things about Shauna’s Pet Shop, from the incredible staff to their tireless efforts to improve animal welfare, this is just an amazing place!

My favourite pet shop in Dublin due to the extensive knowledge all the staff have. The staff are really friendly and are clearly in the job to prioritise animal welfare (unlike other pet shops I've been to). They have a wide selection of food suitable for all animals and diets which is incredibly important. I am a regular customer of Shauna's Pet Shop and I cannot recommend Shauna and the team enough! Over the past year, I have adopted a tortoise and 2 tree frogs from here, bought all of the enclosure equipment here, and frequently visit the shop to buy live feed and to ask for advice. All of the staff are incredibly well-informed, knowledgable, friendly, and deliver outstanding customer service every time that I visit. They have all gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and to help me address any issues or concerns that I have had with my enclosure set-up or animal care. Andy has been particularly helpful with answering my many questions and offering insightful advice (thank you!). And best of all, they only support reputable and ethical breeders and suppliers which not only means that the animals that are available for adoption are ethically-sourced, but it also means that they are healthier than those from other suppliers and it is testament to team's ethos: ANIMAL WELFARE FIRST!

Visited this shop as our girl had a mucky ear... They were so helpful and informative... And on a happy note... Ear is cleaning up brilliantly.... No problems in recommending Shauna's Pet Shop..

I was looking for a subscription box for my daughter's chinchilla, Jeffrey. I found a shop in the UK, but they didn't deliver to Ireland. I then came across Shauna's Pet Shop and found that there were hamster boxes. I rang and spoke with Caroline who said she would ask Shauna. We just got the box this morning. Lots of lovely bits and pieces in it, including dandelion roots, which I had been looking for. Thank you so much and we're looking forward to next month's already.

Really incredible customer service. I contacted the shop to inquire about vitamin drops for my musk turtle as she doesn’t seem like herself and (not sure how many people work here but) whoever I was talking to was very responsive and stayed talking to me until I was recommended a good product, directions for use, and additionally details for a reptile vet if needed. Very thorough!

Absolutely fantastic shop, has so much variety for animals big and small. It’s rare to see pet shops genuinely care so much about the animals in their care, where they’ll go to and about what products they source. The only pet shop I’ve ever bought from that I don’t have to question whether a product will be safe or good for my pets 🙌

I’m delighted to recommend Shauna’s Pet Shop. Having shopped here for many years in-store, I recently placed my first online order and was pleased to find that the online service was just as efficient, dependable and customer-friendly! To be honest I wouldn’t have expected any less of Shauna and her team, as I know from experience that they run an excellent business with a great range of quality products and services. What I like most though is that this is an ethical business, as is evident from both the website and Facebook page and which indeed I have found in my own experience. If only every pet shop could be like Shauna’s!!

Great shop, bought heavy duty hamster wheel with bearings, very silent. Great communication with seller. Well packaged item.

We inherited a small tank and I wanted to do things properly so went to Shauna’s. I sought advice there before doing anything and was originally told my tank was big enough for 8 Betta fish and snails, but after five weeks of trying to get the water parameters correct was now told that I would only be sold snails. This inconsistent advice between different staff is frustrating. I like that you have standards, but be consistent. There are other ethical pet shops. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Excellent speedy customer service. Andy couldn't have been more helpful. When they didn't have the item I wanted in stock, I had an immediate phone call and a full refund. Very impressed and will buy from them again.
