Barrys knowledge on the diamond business is second to none. He helped myself and my partner pick out the most beautiful ring and we got a lot more for our money than a lot of the rings we viewed in high end stores. I was new to diamonds and what I found from other sellers is they end up overwhelming you with cut, colour, clarity etc etc etc and I feel its easy to get hoodwinked and paying way above odds for a ring. Barry just tells it how it is and he has a unique ability to just speak in layman terms which makes the whole process stress free. He is very pleasant to deal with and spends all the time needed with any questions and follow up questions you may have. Loyes Diamonds and Barry in particular are amazing at what they do and true professionals and experts in their field. I visited a few of the high street jewellers looking for an engagement ring before visiting Loyes and the service and attention I received here was second to none. Everything about the types of stones and rings was explained in great detail so I was able to make a more informed decision about the purchase. Also, there is an amazing amount of options available, Once I had chose the style of the band, Barry went through the different grade of diamonds available until we found he perfect option to match my expectations and budget. From my experience, you can get the perfect ring here for about 25% less than what the exact same ring would cost on the high street. And most importantly, my partner was really impressed.

Barry was beyond helpful when I came to him to pick an engagement ring. I hadn't a clue and over a number of consultations he explained everything I needed to know. Not once did he push the more expensive option on me. He was always trying to identify what was right for us. After a number of changes of mind on my end we settled on a custom made ring. I have to rate Barry and Loyes diamonds very highly. I was abroad for work over the last few months and proposed to my girlfriend abroad. After searching on the high streets and online I was given Barry's details by a friend who highly recommended him. I would never have dealt with a person over email for an item like a ring. However, with the recommendation and reading the reviews I decided to contact Barry who was more than happy to help. We gave input on the ring style etc we were looking at and he gave his feedback. We did want a specific mount that we didn't see on the site and there was no trouble in sorting it. We were both over the moon and the ring genuinely exceeded our expectations.
