I
held
back
on
writing
this
review
for
six
months,
because
I
don't
typically
write
negative
reviews
and
I
didn't
want
to
do
so
lightly.
But,
given
that
I'm
still
suffering
the
negative
effects
of
my
experience
at
Therapie
Henry
Street,
I
think
it's
reasonable
to
do
so
now.
I've
had
extensive
experience
at
multiple
aesthetic
clinics
around
Ireland,
including
chains
like
SISU
and
Eden.
My
experiences
with
them
have
been
quite
positive.
However,
I
did
occasionally
use
Therapie
Henry
Street
for
the
convenience
of
their
booking
availability.
In
February
2022,
I
attended
Therapie
Henry
Street
for
Profhilo.
The
doctor
was
extremely
critical
of
my
facial
structure,
pushing
me
to
get
a
significant
amount
of
filler
in
various
areas
of
my
face.
She
insisted
that
my
lips
were
"terrible"
(her
word)
and
must
be
dissolved
and
redone
with
her.
I
had
to
inform
her
several
times
that
I
am
quite
happy
with
my
lips
and
did
not
wish
to
change
them,
but
her
repetition
and
pushing
of
the
issue
brought
the
conversation
to
a
point
of
us
getting
hostile
with
each
other.
Whether
or
not
my
lips
were
"terrible",
you
don't
send
a
client
out
of
a
clinic
feeling
like
that.
I
had
felt
no
issue
with
my
lips
or
facial
structure
at
that
time,
but
left
the
clinic
with
deep
concerns
over
both.
In
March
2022,
I
made
a
booking
for
a
Botox
followup.
When
I
made
the
booking
on
the
phone,
I
specifically
requested
not
to
be
seen
by
the
same
doctor
as
I
was
so
upset
the
last
time.
I
was
told
I
wouldn't
be
seen
by
her.
But
I
was.
I
was
again
strongly
advised
to
get
more
filler
in
my
cheeks.
When
I
mentioned
I
didn't
want
to
put
in
more
filler,
and
that
I
would
consider
having
surgery
to
remove
my
malar
fat
pads
in
the
future,
she
responded
with
"If
you're
going
for
surgery,
I'd
get
those
eyelids
fixed
too"
(direct
quote).
This
was
the
last
comment
before
I
left
the
room.
I
left
the
clinic
feeling
extremely
upset,
and
again
reaching
for
a
mirror
to
stare
at
another
part
of
my
appearance
which
had
been
brought
under
new
criticism.
I
completely
understand
a
doctor's
place
to
gently
advise
on
available
treatments,
but
aggressively
and
negatively
commenting
on
a
person's
appearance,
while
refusing
to
accept
that
the
person
is
happy
with
that
appearance,
is
not
professional.
I
sent
an
email
to
Therapie
explaining
how
upset
and
traumatised
I
was
by
this
experience,
and
they
said
the
manager
of
the
clinic
would
be
in
touch
with
me.
Eventually,
after
several
emails
to
them,
I
got
a
phone
call
back.
The
manager
was
entirely
unapologetic,
called
the
doctor
"our
best
injector"
and
said
"sometimes
things
said
by
the
doctors
can
be
taken
up
wrong".
I
gave
up
on
the
call
after
she
said
that.
I'm
writing
this
review
to
caution
other
people
who
may
be
attending
this
clinic,
and
to
the
clinic
itself.
When
you're
in
there,
with
an
aesthetic
professional,
you're
in
a
vulnerable
space
-
regardless
of
how
beautiful
you
may
be
or
how
familiar
with
aesthetic
clinics
you
are.
You
are
vulnerable
to
the
words
of
that
doctor.
And
the
doctor
here,
who
I
haven't
named,
aggressively
and
repeatedly
criticised
not
only
other
aesthetic
work
I
had
done,
but
also
criticised
natural
aspects
of
my
face.
She
did
this
on
two
separate
occasions.
That's
a
pattern.
It's
not
ethical.
And
I'm
still
suffering
from
it.
I
still
haven't
decided
how
to
address
what
happened
to
me.
I
recently
attended
Auralia
to
seek
malar
fat
pad
removal,
and
my
doctor
there
told
me
there's
absolutely
nothing
that
I
need
to
get
done,
or
that
they
would
approve
of
doing,
to
my
cheeks
or
eyes.
The
ugliness
invented
by
that
doctor
at
Therapie
is
still
all
I
see
when
I
look
in
the
mirror.
