On July 7th of this year, I hired the services of this company to go to Galway with a friend and the experience was extraordinary. Our driver was Mr. Kevin, and his work was second to none. He has made the trip very pleasant, with an exquisite and professional treatment, with willingness to all tourists to enjoy the day. He even approached us on his own initiative to take our family/group photos. Thank you for giving us such a pleasant experience. For the warmth of your treatment towards us and for your willingness and kindness. It has been a great experience travelling with Irish Day Tours. I absolutely recommend it.

We did the Cliffs of Moher with the boat tour and it was fantastic. The visit to the sheep dog farm was really worth it. Highly recommended. The nicest part of our tour it was our lovely very knowledgeable and informative guide David. Not only he's a great driver but his voice and knowledge was delightful. He loves history, rocks and nature, so you definitely want to book your tour with him!! Thanks for such a great trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Boyne Valley Celtic history tour. The driver Finn was excellent, courteous and filled with stories and charm. Although I understand the lunch stop at the "medieval village" and she does her best, we expected a quaint pub- it was a serviceable but uninspiring pre-made sandwiches and canned soda. The guide handled the group deftly, how he managed to stay so positive with some of them surely impressed me with his patience. It was steep hills and not for the mobility challenged. Beautiful views, very informative. Bus seems oversize for the road but he handles it well.

It was an amazing day tour to Cliffs of Moher and Galway yesterday. Our tour guide/driver Michael made the tour lively and kept us engaged until the end of the tour. It was very informative. We had enough time to view both the places. The only reason I give four stars is that the microphone and/or speakers were not working well in the bus coach. So, we couldn't hear Michael very well in the back seats. Otherwise everything was perfect. Keep doing your good work. Shared a few pics. Cheers!

Great tour, great driver and guide, highly recommended . Did the cliffs of moher tour and was amazing. Only one pick which is great, the other tours stop 3 or 4 places and it takes 30 minutes to pick up everyone, this one has one pick up place and you are on your way and also amazing service ands customer service from the company. Would go again anytime. 5 stars plus from me

Day Trip to the Cliffs of Moher. Wonderful nature and a trip! The bus driver was very humorous and a good guide. Shared a lot of interesting information. Very nice place for lunch. The trip started early and lasted all day, until about 8 pm. However, a lot of sitting on the bus is well worth it. Enough coffee breaks and time to buy snacks and stretch your legs. Very child friendly. Very pleasant trip. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Adrian was such a great guide! Very witty and personable and he passed the time on the bus with loads of stories. He also know some trips to enable us to get around other tour groups and have the best possible experience. We took the tour to Blarney Castle. 100% would recommend and would book this company anytime in back in Ireland.

Great outfit all around you can’t go wrong with them HOWEVER if you really really want to have that “extra special experience” make sure to ask for Rob the best tour guide in all of Ireland (North or South). Our group of 7 loved Rob who is Extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, funny and a fantastic host.

We took the Cliffs of Moher tour from Dublin. It was an early start and a long day but very worth it! We brought our 6 month old baby (they offered child seats for an additional 15 euro) and it made for a very special family trip. I can't remember the guides name unfortunately but we took the tour on 20/8. He was SO knowledgeable and had so many fun facts along with history to share along the trip. He drove safely and communicated the trips expectations/time to return to the bus very well. We loved the stops along the way, we didn't feel too rushed. It was nice that they had a pre-planned arrangement for lunch so that we didn't have to rush and panic in finding our own place (I've had this happen on other tours). They didn't have a bathroom on board but made sure to stop every 1-1.5 hours for snacks and breaks.

If you are looking for the excitement of a driver with road rage, this is the tour company you should choose… If you want a calmer tour experience, it is probably best to choose one of the other two companies offering bus tours of Dublin. Our driver went off on a driver of another bus who he felt parked illegally. Although there was plenty of room to get around the other bus… Our driver thought it would be good to be super dramatic… Causing a a big scene and delaying our group 10 minutes while he raged… Here is a photo of our driver… PS, he also raged on me when I called him out for his behaviour… Other than the driver conduct … The tour was interesting and informative… I appreciate the response from Irish day tours… Although they claim they are not the company involved with the tour… I have added a photo of my receipt below

We took the day tour to The Cliffs Of Mother. It was beautiful, but our driver Aidan made it so much fun, he was an excellent driver and took good care of all his passengers. He was by far the best guide we had on our whole vacation .

I leave it to travelers’ objectivity what rating Irish Day Tours (IDT) earned. Our day with Mr. Adrian started well by chance. The front seats were available so I didn’t have to worry about my motion sickness. Prior to landing in Dublin, we requested Trip Advisor for seats in front because of my motion sickness. Ms./Mr. Flaure responded saying s/he “hoped that we were able to join our Cliffs of Moher tour as planned”. Our tour reservations were in the future at that time and were for Blarney Castle. I requested that Ms./Mr. Flaure read our request. Ms. Laura responded saying “arrive a little early and speak to the driver who would be able to get you a seat near the front”. “Near the front” does not prevent me from throwing up when sick with motion. The singing Mr. Adrian, our guide cum driver, was entertaining with all his stories, information, singing, etc. He did a very good job at the Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle and on the way back to Dublin from Blarney Castle. We like him, and we’re one of the parties who tipped him. I informed IDT in writing that we got separated from the group at Blarney Castle, had to buy our entrance tickets which were included in the tour fees that we paid and requested that the ticket costs be refunded to us. Ms./Mr. Flaure wrote back saying, “I was informed by our driver that you decided to leave the group and went to the bathroom without notification . . . We cannot provide you a refund for this occasion.” First, we did not decide to leave the group. Our faux pax was we did not inform Mr. Adrian that we needed a bathroom break. Our thoughts: We were not separated from our group in the two castles before Blarney in the same IDT; We had four other tours with two other companies the previous days and were not separated from any group in any attraction; It appeared that no one noticed we were not with the group; We were not informed of any effort to look for us; No one asked us where we were. Thankfully, Viator and Chase Sapphire Reserve CC had refunded us the cost of Blarney Castle tickets.

Our guide was so informative, had excellent recommendations. We toured the Blarney Castle, kissed the famous blarney stone for the gift of the gab, a guided tour of the Cahir castle, and explored the ruins of the Rock of Cashel. Adrian briefed us about the Irish history, was funny, and ensured that all of us on the tour had a wonderful time.

The drivers and guides were excellent and engaging. The stops on the day trips were well organized, with food and stretching breaks. Some buses have bathrooms, and others do not. I was disappointed to have one of my days canceled because they did not have enough bookings for that tour. I am also not a fan of customer service not being located in Ireland.

We had Bud as our tour guide and he is what made the trip for me!! He was easy to talk to and funny. I felt comfortable the second I got into the bus. Also he knew a lot of little facts and was able to adapt well to our needs.

We had a day tour with Aidan and had a wonderful time! He was a fantastic guide, we learned about some Irish stories and history while we traveled through out the day and enjoyed Aidan’s versions! Aidan was also a terrific driver. He thoroughly explains what to expect for the day as you set off and we saw so very much of Ireland on this tour! He also told us in detail where to go at each stop, which direction and/or specific places. The pub we stopped in Doolin for lunch was truly phenomenal, some of the best seafood we’ve ever had (and we’re seasoned travelers). We absolutely loved it!!

I booked a tour and the bus never showed up to pick me up. I arrived 20 minutes early and waited till 20 minutes after departure for the bus. I was unable to contact the company during this time. It turns out the trip was cancelled and I did not get notification. Luckily later that day they contacted me and gave me a refund. I wish I had known ahead so I could plan appropriately, but they were nice afterwards and helped me out.

I booked a tour for me and my friend who was only visiting for a short time to go to see the Cliffs of Moher and Galway. On our ticket it said to be at the Molly Malone Statue 10 minutes before the departure time which was 6:50. My friend and I and two other passengers arrived at the statue for 6:45, which is still 5 minutes before the listed departure time, but the bus had already left. They left early and left us all behind. When I tried contacting the company by phone, I was no longer able to connect with anyone and then when I emailed the company in search of a refund, which I should have been entitled to as the bus left early, they refused to give me a refund, did not acknowledge the fault in what they did and got my name wrong twice in the exchanges they had with me. There is a complete and total lack of respect that was displayed by this company and I would highly recommend going somewhere else. Wild Rovers is an excellent option who we ended up getting a tour with instead and they were excellent, kind, informative and welcoming. I would look into them first.

Our tour guide Aiden was great. Very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed seeing the Cliffs of Moher. Amazing view. The only thing that was bad was the coach bus. Just horrible. It really watered down the experience because you spend so much time on it. The A/C was broken so the bus was hot and uncomfortable the whole ride. The seats were small and hard. Didn't recline at all. Not even half way through the tour I was wishing that it was over because of how hot and uncomfortable my wife and I were. This company should invest in better vehicles. I would not book with them again.

We chose the Cliffs of Moher Tour, we left Dublin around 7 am because we had many kilometers to travel by bus to get to them. After which we stopped for lunch in a beautiful restaurant in Doolin and then spent the afternoon in Galway. We saw a lot of Ireland's spectacular views and visited lovely cities. I wish there was more time into the day to stay a little longer. We had a lovely day thanks to our tour guide Bud, He was really availeble to answering all of our questions, and entertained us with great songs and explanations about the history of Ireland and its particular nature. Thanks again from Italy! Very well organized tour, absolutely recommended.

I’m very impressed with the amazing service and the phenomenal tours this company offers. I did the Blarney cork and the cliffs of Moher tours with this company and was very satisfied with both tours. I highly recommend using this company when touring in Ireland.

Great tours!!! The Guides are super professional and everything went smoothly. Idelle for the Cliffs of Moher and Galway and Harry for Cork and Blarney Castle. Amazing guides! One single point of improvement about the information displayed about the tour of Cork and Blarney Castle though: GetYourGuide informed in its advertisement that the trip to Cork and Blarney Castle would include Cork and a city tour in Cork with a local guide. This needs to be rectified in the website because Cork is not included.

Things are very easy to find and plenty of options online. We did 2 great tours and loved them. Giants Causeway and Cliff of Moher! Gerald was our driver for the cliffs. AMAZING!! WONDERFUL! His style with great irish accent and soothing tone made me feel so relaxed. Was so patient and never felt rushed. He went out of his way to help us out. A guide that was very neutral and told great stories. Just a joy! Owen was on our second trip and just a great guy. One last thing was the lunches! Would love to go back to both restaurants with wonderful food and service.

Went to Ireland for my birthday bucket list trip. My travel agent scheduled my tours with Irish Day Tours and they were amazing!!!! All of my tour guides were great Aidan, Jonathan, and (OMG I can't remember her name) I believe Cindy. All of the places we stopped and they showed us couldn't have been more picture perfect. I would recommend using this company for any trip you make to Ireland and want to do day trips!!!
