Overall not a bad store but you need staff that understand your products better. Usual answers of I’m not sure, or I don’t really know are not good enough. Helpful staff make a huge difference. Bit of pride in the store front wouldn’t go a miss, it’s always filthy at the entrance to the shop.

Great experience in Woodies today. I had a lot of dingy orange/brown garden pots, not very attractive. I got this great paint in Woodies today. Brought my plant containers back from the life. See the difference with just one coat. Brilliant.

No manners. Blonde one at Cs desk. So rude. No eye contact. no greeting. No thank you.. Just handed me my receipt and walked off without even looking up. Shockin manners

Nice shop, well spaced and easy to find what you want staff are friendly ,stocked well. Great range of paints brushes diy tools wallpaper.Graden department could be better although they have a lot of the same plants and flowers spaced so it looks like the have loads. Worth a visit and employs local people

Every year just after Halloween the sister engages me to drive her to Woodie's to check out the Christmas decorations. " I won't be buying much this year " she says, I laugh as I know only full well I will be pushing a full shopping trolley out to the car. Surprise, surprise I was right ! Great experience as always, staff are wonderful.

Very good experience. My wife who has trouble walking asked one of the ladies on the floor for the location of some items. We then got the full personal shopper experience. Every item we requested was collected and handed to us. Most unusual but delightful.

Love Woodies. You have 2 ladies on the tills there who are amazing! I thought one had put through a window cleaning item twice and instead of getting insulted the lady took time to check the receipt with me making sure I fully understood what was what. Excellent tillers!!!

If you're in the market for some paint, you might as well go to Woodies, because they have mastered the art of making a trip to the hardware store endlessly entertaining. I mean, they've got everything from paint brushes to step ladders and all the colors of the rainbow to choose from. But let me tell you, the experience doesn't stop there. The staff must have taken a class in stand-up comedy because every time I go in there, I leave with a side ache from laughing so hard. I swear one of the employees tried to convince me that a paintbrush can also be used as an effective hairbrush. While I don't recommend using their products for wild hairstyles, I do highly recommend stopping by for your hardware needs and a good chuckle.

Security guards not trained. Persued me around the store as I tried to spend my 100 euro Christmas voucher. Had it exchanged for cash. FYI, the lads wearing snickers clothing are tradesmen not shoplifters. And don't get me started on their prices.

Half of the staff haven’t a clue of what’s going on around the shop. Never staff around in their sections when questions need to be asked and when you go looking and ask someone 9/10 times your told they aren’t sure or I don’t work down there.

We had a problem with a shower we bought in Woodies Coolock last May We went to their customer service desk today and the young man that looked after us was so helpful we were very impressed with the service keep up the good work Thank you

A huge place to shop for household, gardening and whole lot of stuff. I came looking for a replacement for my electric shower 🚿 very well laid out display, plenty to choose from and very well presented. Good thing my electrician had a recommendation on what best suited for my home or else I won't have a clue on what to pick as my old unit was no longer on sale or production. Staff were about and handy for help. I was quick and out of the door in no time. Oh forget to mention they also took my broken unit for recycling ♻️ glad I asked as brought it with me in boot of my car just incase. Just happy and grateful of their prompt service 🙏

Had my first visit to woodies in Coolock and I was pleasantly met with great furniture bargains at the entrance. The furniture is very good quality. They had lots of sales on lots of items. My main reason to go there was to check out their garden centre. I was not disappointed. Fabulous lay out of plants and trees of varied descriptions. And what I found remarkable was how everything was so well organised and how well all the plants were being looked after. Very healthy plants. I got plants and large pot. Not overly expensive. Plenty of free parking. Staff friendly. Comfortable atmosphere I highly recommend you visit .

All the Christmas decorations were half price and I picked up a few bargains. Great Selection of trees lights and all things festive. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Not so much of a "reasonable alternative" as it used to be for good quality household items, but still good value and good quality. The range of different household items - from kitchen, to furniture, bedding, fittings etc. has really grown over the past couple of years and the prices are still competitive. If you want reasonably priced household and D-I-Y items all under the same roof Woodies is a very good option.

I always love going to Woddies pity we have to pass the poor begger. And just to say the staff are very vague about what you want. A bit of a teaching experience wouldn't go a miss.

There was a Autumn sales but when I went on the 3rd to buy shelving units, they pretended that there was nothing left in stock (without checking) and won't be any more. The staff wasn't nice and not helpful at all. Very disappointed as I was used to find nice staff at Woodies.

I went to Woodies Coolock to get bedding plants and I got them, it was a fantastic experience.

Staff are friendly and helpful. It's usually well stocked. However, it is quite overpriced for many items and part of the reason we will see more people move to online shopping. Yes, people will lose their jobs but I don't believe that's because customers are shirking shopping local. If something is just wantonly overpriced, no amount of buy Irish will make a difference.

Today i went in to buy some paint. I was obviously struggling with the choice. When i was asked by a member of staff if he could help in anyway. He explained there was 3 for 2 offer on dulux paints and how i could best use 3 for 2 for my particular needs today by getting one tin of white for skirting boards which will never go astray. So thank you Terence you made my experience in Woodies today a very good one . I will be back when i have decided which colour i will use!

I like Woodies. They seem to have a greater range than other similar stores. Generally if I head here I am confident if finding exactly what I’m looking for which is not always the case elsewhere. The store is well laid out and items are easy to find. Staff too are friendly and helpful when needed without being obtrusive.

Clean, friendly and helpful. Only negative about woodies as a mother of young children is the lack of toilet facilities. I usually go to airside and B&Q have toilets as do some of the other shops. If they can do it perhaps you can too?

Never with a problem, all the times going to by you going to find a good and smile face around, good prices around, I mean can be cheaper but I liked the quality is there. Can make copy of your keys or find a nice paint to your bedroom .

Glenn is a credit to the store. I asked him to place a heater on hold, he followed up on his word and let me know straight away when it was available for collection. I was initially struggling to start the heater, he explained everything clearly, demonstrated placing my gas cylinder into the heater in the store and helped carry it into the boot of my car. Excellent customer service overall. If he hasn’t been promoted yet, he definitely deserves it.

Well I'm sorry to say i dont think I'll be shopping in this store again....my tree stand broken...bought the tree in woodies in coolock last year.....manager not a bit helpful and I asked could i buy a stand if she had from maybe a damage tree.....I asked well what will i do with the tree she said throw it out😶 not helpful......and she walked away.....and I walked out.....went to another well known shop 2 minutes .....a stand was taken from their skip at back of shop....and such a friendly helpful girl😍 I actually cried as she was so busy and did that for me.....❤️that's professionalism ‼️‼️

Nice place. Although €34 for a plastic storage container, PLASTIC! absolute robbery. Got the same one in Dunnes for €17. Keep your eye on the prices folks.
