O'Briens is a franchise so my thoughts about this shop might not apply to all the others but the food is expensive for what it is, even worse when you consider the state of this shop - old and in serious need of a deep clean. Pay attention to the ingredients being used in your sandwich to ensure they are actually fresh. Also, the management is often rude to the floor and deli staff.

The staff are lovely in Westwood clontarf O'Brien's sandwich bar. Closed from tonight for a bit . Hope it reopens soon .

Take away Coffee mugs smell bad, like old clothes. Cappuccino way too hot and not tasty. Food expensive but edible. Staff always under stress even without a queue

The quantity of the salad is so poor

Worst O'Brien's in the country. Stressed, rude staff. Long queues because some staff pretend to be supervisors. Intentionally bad food. I have no idea how they can screw up a cheese toasty, but they do. Avoid.

I would rate them -1 if I could. Milk far too hot. The girls literally couldn’t care less about the people they’re serving. Sandwiches are thrown together and they’re generally giving out about something or someone in conversation. I don’t know why Westwood allow them have a spot there. 👎🏼

My friend and I went here for something to eat. I didnt get anything but my friend got a chicken sandwich. While the employee made it, we noticed that there was flies on the ceiling and flying around the place. We were already disgusted at this and then saw flies actually in the food used for sandwich fillings. We saw some in the chicken they used to make my friends sandwich. After one bite of the sandwich my friend was too uncomfortable with the fact flies were in the food and asked for a refund and explained why. The employee she complained to then had an attitude saying 'there was no flies in the food but fine have your refund' even though my friend had been polite about it. I dont think I will buy food from here again after the filthy conditions and the rude staff.

Excellent staff, great atmosphere

Great place to have a salad/sandwich with coffee or smoothie after a workout in the gym. Tuna salad is great here 😌

Been avoiding this place since I joined Westwood 2 years ago and finally gave in, never again! Handed a bowl of Porridge straight out of the microwave at 200° and 90% water. How a gym of this standard wouldn't replace O'Briens with something well thought out and healthy is beyond me. There are plenty good places a stones throw from here, Lotts, Cloud Cafe, Orange Goat and so on. Bitter taste parting with hard earned cash for this trash.

Spanish girl very rude she spoke rudely to other customers and her other staff member won’t be returning

Food great if you come to staff that make great food, other times pay for overpriced chicken sandwich and get half-chicken-sandwich :(

Very friendly staff and good food and drink
