Good old fashioned bakery selling honest to goodness cakes at reasonable prices. Wonderful warm good humoured staff. This is a nice place with a little old of that old time vibe which makes it special. There might be potential business in setting table or two, for coffee and cakes in the shop or outside.

Love their apple cake! Or is it apple pie? Or apple tart? Who knows. Only thing I could suggest is to dial it down with the powdered sugar. It's sweet enough and without the added sugar it would be perfect!

Last Sunday (20/Dec) I bought a Black Forest cake to bring home and how surprised I was and still am! For starters, it lasted perfectly a few hours in the back seat of the car. Just what I needed. Later on, sliced the cake, had it with my family and that's when it hit me. The cream, the chocolate, the black cherries... OMG! It's all balanced, not too sweet, not too much cream, not too much chocolate, it's just right. It's delicious. You can taste each layer individually. The cream is fresh, the chocolate is moist and you'll get roughly one black cherry per slice, which is probably what you're looking for, just the right amount of everything. Also - have to say - shop staff was very attentive and kind. It's always nice to talk to people that actually pay attention to what you are saying and are willing to help! Anyway, still having my cake, happy as ever to have found this piece of heaven in a box - sprinkles and all. 🤤

Tried their GF chocolate cake and it was delicious, moist, not too sweet. Everyone that tried it in the party were surprised how good it was 🥰😍 100% recommended 👌
