My initial experience with the clinic was horrible. Went in for some tests and just got bloods done, then asked if that was all, and I had to wait 20 mins for the nurse to find out what else was needed. Total lack of communication between staff. Then I received a call a few weeks later to say my tests had been performed incorrectly and were therefore unviable to be tested, so I had to come in and have them done again. I had to go through the discomfort again due to their incompetence. To top it off, today I rang to see if I could have my blood results faxed to my new GP, because I am never going back to that clinic. I spoke with the rudest woman, who told me that she was "very busy" and even cursed upon hearing the spelling of my new doctor. She then ended the phone call saying "I have to go now", as if my query wasn't important enough for her. I am a patient like everyone else and I've never felt so unwelcome and such distrust in medical staff before. Would give 0 stars if I could.

My recent visit to the clinic with Dr. Nerusha Govender was a shocking display of medical incompetence. I came in seeking help for a persistent cough caused by hay fever, but it was abundantly clear that Dr. Govender didn't care to listen to me. She appeared impatient and didn't invest even a fraction of the time needed to understand my concerns. To make matters worse, Dr. Govender prescribed a slew of medications, including inhalers, that were not only expensive but utterly unnecessary. These medications set me back approximately €200 and proved to be entirely ineffective over the course of three agonizing weeks. In fact, my cough worsened under her misguided treatment. Frustrated and feeling unheard, I sought a second opinion from a competent GP, who simply recommended an over-the-counter Claritin product. The swift turnaround in my health, with my cough disappearing within just two days, starkly contrasted Dr. Govender's incompetence. In summary, my experience with Dr. Nerusha Govender was nothing short of a nightmare. Her refusal to listen to my concerns and her reckless prescription of unnecessary and expensive medications left me deeply disappointed and financially burdened. I would highly recommend that anyone seeking medical help from Clifton Court Medical to avoid this doctor at all costs, as her focus is to check another name from the to-do list than patient well-being.

I have to agree with the last review! My experience was absolutely shocking. I got series of tests done, paid several hundred euros for them and then I didn't even get a phone call to tell me what was happening! When I called, and I did several times, no one could find anything and all I got was that someone will call me back. They didn't. Maybe the clinic is OK for a flu prescription but otherwise it's just a conveyor belt to move people along without any follow up or continuity. I moved my records to another practice.

Really terrible experiences, I have never met Dr Palmer but had 3 phone consults with her over the last 2 years. She is abrupt, dismissive and not open to suggestions and you just don't actually want to ask her anything. Literally €60 for a piece of paper and didn't even ask for what I wanted.

Be prepared for long delays. Been twice, both times I arrived 5 mins early, and both times I was seen 40-50mins late. Staff are nice though

I have had great experiences with Dr Karen Palmer at Clifton Court Medical on two separate occasions. She was friendly and personable, but also extremely thorough and straightforward to deal with. Her level of care was exceptional.

Dr Palmer has been my doctor my for the last 10 years. I have always felt well taken care by her. She is empathetic, thorough and highly professional. The experience at Clifton Court medical is efficient, friendly and spanking clean. All in all a superior practice.

I was a victim of xenophobia in this practice by Dr Kate Palmer. I questioned the (lack of) treatment I was given for a condition I had complained for months, and she asked me to go “back to my country” if I wasn’t happy. Well I did. Turns out she indeed misdiagnosed me (or really had no desire at all to diagnose me) and I received immediate HUMANE treatment. The first time I actually saw her, I said I had 3 different symptoms I would like to discuss to see if they could me connected. I could NOT believe when she said “sorry I only have time for ONE” I thought she was joking but no!! unfortunately she Wasn’t. I left the clinic crying in despair. She’s rude and her lack of skills could literally kill someone. I do not understand how someone like her is allowed to practice MEDICINE. If you don’t like PEOPLE, you chose the WRONG career.

I highly recommend Clifton Medical where I have attended for years. The staff are courteous, personable, obliging and efficient. Dr Karen Palmer is always thorough and effective. I have huge confidence in the work she does and the advice she gives.

Had a great experience with Clifton Medical Centre. Dr Karen Palmer was an excellent GP. Both nurses were really caring and patient. Pauline on reception was helpful and always quick to respond by email or phone. Moved out of the city so sadly no longer a patient there. Thanks to all the team for your time and care.

Been patient to this practice few years and change it as they never had an appointment when I needed a doctor. Very poor service, different doctor every time you visit the practice, once got hospitalised as didn’t gave a strong medicine for the infection I had. Seems they care more about making profit rather than help people with health problem. Not recommend.

The GPs here are constantly changing so it's impossible to have a regular doctor. The owner, Dr. Palmer is unfriendly, unhelpful and interrupts constantly when I am trying to explain myself.

Doctor Karen Palmer is fantastic. She diagnosed my sarcodiosis and made sure I've been taken care of.

I only recently went to Dr. Pamler for a check up and I discovered an unbeknownst female medical issue I had been suffering from for years prior to attending The Clifton Court Medical Centre. I received all the Medical attention and care I required almost immediately. I would highly recommend Dr. Palmer as she is one of the most thorough and diligent doctors I have ever come across. Dr. Palmer is a true professional and excellent medical expert and amazingly she does actually care to monitor patients progress.

They are just terrible,my daughter is sick and it took them days to submit her urine test until its not usable anymore and ask us to re do it after 1 week and takes another 10 days for the result to come up Not caring about the baby health and that she might have some virus that needs medication Not the first time to feel this from them,they refused to have her in before because she had fever! So we need to just go to emergency and wait for hours because they are afraid from a baby that has fever Another time she bumped her head and had a huge bruise right before our go appointment and when we went they wouldn’t let me see a nurse (who was free) until we get in to the go that we had to wait for him around one hour to finish his appointments

Have been attending here since 2015 on two pregnancies and a chronic illness that requires regular check ups, have always been treated well and referred on promptly when required. It is a busy clinic but I am always happy with the care I receive from the doctors here.

I have been going to Dr Mooney at the Albany clinic since pregnant with my daughter who is now 18. He is an exceptionally good doctor and takes as much time as an appointment takes, which can be short or long. A good solid practical sensible doctor, I cannot recommend him or his practice highly enough.

I have been a long standing patient at this surgery and have been very thankful for the continuous great care I have received.

Our family GP is Dr. Karen Palmer and I have been reading the reviews about the clinic, I feel sorry for the people who had bad experience, it's completely opposite for me, my whole pregnancy was supported by Dr. Palmer and she is looking after me in my post partum as well, even nurses and receptionist are also good to me, I understand about the rush during Covid, however I have always got the appointment on time and I am happy with overall service...

I’ve been attending Clifton Court for many years and I can’t praise the doctors, nurses and receptionists, highly enough. There is never a delay with getting an appointment and great to be able to get early morning appointments. Everyone working here are professional, friendly, efficient and thorough. Dr Karen Palmer really cares about her patients and always looks back on my record to ensure old issues have been resolved, or recurring tests are up to date. I was prescribed two months instead of six months for a repeat prescription, for which there is a charge. I was told the GP wanted to review my treatment. So I had to pay for the GP consultation, only for the GP to ask me nothing about the medication. When I sat down, he asked me what he could do for me. This means I was asked to come in for no reason, unless the GP forgot that he had apparently asked to review my treatment! I decided to make use of the appointment and asked for a referral for an x-ray due and advised I was with VHI. A hospital was suggested and I chose one closer to home. The GP didn't mention that this wasn't an approved VHI facility centre. So, I lost €165 in total for having an appointment foisted onto me, and then a lack of advice and guidance in relation to the referral.

Dr Palmer has been our family doctor for over four years and I couldn’t be happier to recommend her. She’s very thorough and takes time to fully understand any issues. She is also fantastic with my children and has made visits with them very stress free.

Cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The care and attention that is shown by ALL the staff is amazing. Dr Palmer is knowledgeable, empathetic, kind and patient. I feel better both physically and mentally in her care.

Dr Karen Palmer has seen me through two pregnancies, both during Covid, and providing excellent care for two premature babies. All the staff are amazing, the receptionists are so helpful and Katie the nurse is the best at taking bloods in the business! Couldn’t recommend enough and so grateful to be a patient here.

Excellent doctor Karen Palmer and friendly staff. Contracted the norovirus after visiting the clinic once and recently on another occasion noticed that the coronavirus prevention steps aren't very advanced. Customers not required to wear masks and sitting less than 2m apart.

I have been a patient of Dr.Palmer for 5 years and i.have always found her patient and sensitive. The nurses are.super nice and professional..The reception staff is always helpful and efficient. It is always a pleasure to.have.to.deal.with them all....even though one is sick!

My experience has been excellent with Dr. Mooney & Dr. Corless who both work at this clinic. They have both been called upon numerous times and always provided great care when dealing with our children. Everything was always explained to us and continuous care provided. The manner the staff at this clinic treat their patients is fantastic.
