One star is too much! Terrible service, soo disappointed. Machine was acting up and they were not even able to check if the transaction went through. Extremely grouchy and did not accept prove of payment. Never returning to this shop!!!

You cannot beat the value for money you get here. Its a bit haphazardly arranged but you can find excellent deals in there for most of the things compared to pretty much any other shop in Dublin.

Went there today to buy a backbag which is on sale on their website from 12,95 to 6,95. The guy from the shop asked me 12,95 for it. Even though there was a big sign reading 50% above the items..I told him that the bag is 6,95 and he said that only few stuff there are on sales. Very disappointed drove from tallaght to have a look around. false advertising. Never go there again and definitely I won't recommend the shop.

Place is awful for men's shoes that either snap or wear down the soles fast compared to other shoes of same price elsewhere after buying a pair of Hill climbing shoes a pair of gym shoes and a pair of boots all within 3 or 4 weeks became useless

I’ve bought this curtain online and have tried to return it at the N Early St City Center store and have been mistreated and falsely told by Zarilda and Daniela, that I couldn’t return this item as it has been opened and not properly folded, which is a lie, as it’s in perfect condition, original packaging without any damaging to the product as I only opened it to see how tick the curtain was and was surprised how bad the quality is and how poorly made and different from the picture on the website. I’ve told then about the call of period that is within the Irish laws, which gives the online consumers to return any product within 14 days without giving any reason to the business, which I’m kindly giving as telling you that the quality you sold me in the picture is not the same as I’ve received yesterday and they were very rude and unhelpful telling me that it’s written in store to not open the products, even after I told them I’ve bought it ONLINE!!! I’ll be actioning the CCPC and the store will be notified, as it’s ridiculous the return online process and how consumer’s are mistreated and manipulated in order to not return products that are poorly made and it’s in the Irish law that it’s our right to return within 14 days. I’m attaching a picture of the package that they told me was not “folded properly” so I couldn’t be refunded. Very poorly instructed employees and I won’t be buying with them NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Long time customer and well known there so why I was stopped by security guard for a bag search was beyond me. I may have to think about shopping elsewhere. Been shopping in both Guineys on and off since the late 90s. Very disappointed.

I've been going to Guineys for thirty years, if not more. Staff are generally lovely, helpful, efficient, effective and welcoming. Happy to direct you to whatever you are looking for, or check in the store, to see if they have it for you. Very occasionally I've heard stories from other people, about occasions where an individual has been rude, even abusive to a customer. That's rare. There's even been a lady working for their security company, who was lovely and helpful also, I think her name is Ann. Not there the last couple of times I've been in Guineys. I'm happy to recommend the staff in this store. More than happy to go back to this store.

Just left Guineys north Earl and never seen anything as rude in my life! First I was buying a curtain pole and the guy wasn’t the most helpful young guy with a light beard, i asked for help with size he didn’t even raise he’s eyes then a lovely woman with glasses stepped in, as I was paying as the pole was so high I bumped of the hanging light an he said “Jesus “ in a huff manner it was obviously an accident by me. Then a young Indian girl came up asking about her break to which he replied and said “don’t be asking me ask Sandra your only in from 12 that’s 3 hours so don’t ask me ask her now get out of my way” for him to pass my Curtin pole he spiked to her shockingly me and another customer looked at each other in horror! I think maybe he should not be on counter

Bit budget friendly for household items but can’t find much cool and stylish stuffs. Items are very conventional and price are higher for apparel’s as compared to their quality

Was ordered online items for car upholstery was waiting for two weeks and still nothing so really confusing it's good place to waist your time. Disappointed at all.

The quality of fabrics are perfect and the price are reasonable. I also ordered bedsheets online and it was much cheaper than other brands. you can find king bed sheet high quality in 5.99 euro while in other stores the single bed sheet costs 8 euro or more.

Lots of moderately priced goods. I can't really speak to the quality as I have only bought a few things here. The staff are helpful...the location on Talbot Street has an elevator but it is out of order. The stairs can be difficult if you are elderly like me.
